I actually only got 2 books for xmas this year. Kind of strange. But I will get some gifts from people on new years from people I havent seen before so fingers crossed.
The books I got was a norwegian book about women who changed norway and a book about norwegian litterature history.

I rarely get books for Christmas from my family, but this year I did get one book!



When my parents I were in Iowa City this summer, we went to see an author at their AMAZING independent bookstore, Prairie Lights. My mom and I are huge GWTW fans, and we saw this edition and thought it was so cool! We'd never seen it before. Well, when I wasn't looking, they bought this for me for Christmas!!! They are so sweet :) And know me so well!

I got the Collector's Edition of ADSOM and when I opened it I almost cried because I didn't realize it came signed! I was geeking out so hard!!

All of that was $37!!!

And I just placed another Book Outlet order! They are having a great Boxing Day sale! I'll post those books when I get them (sometimes they get sold out and you don't always get the books you ordered)

I got in the mail today.

I didn't realize I didn't have a copy of The Hobbit until I shelved my Lord of the Rings books on my new bookshelves. 😮 I wanted a nice edition to show off so I got the hardback 75th anniversary copy! 😍

Oh man, I have made a pig of myself lately buying books!! I have two big BookOutlet orders coming which I'll post after they get here. I also have a Barnes and Noble AND a Book Depository order coming.

And late this afternoon, my copy of came in! Tomorrow you will find me sprawled in my reading chair all day! 😬

Now all of this comes AFTER receiving 58 books for advent from my besties. I am doing some serious book hoarding!! 😂😂

So I finally had the chance to pull all of the Advent Calendar books I received from Jenny and Jen together and about fell over!!



58 books!!! 😱📚💕💖 I've already read 6 of them so far since I got them. Only 52 more to go! 😂😂

Its so awesome when you look at them all together like that!!! I couldn't believe my stack as well! I'm hoping I can get them all read this year, but we'll see I guess!

I bought Brave, Trollhunters by Guillermo Del Toro, and Zodiac: Legends by Stan Lee for my students. All of which I get first dibs on, lol! And I bought a book for professional development called On Your Mark.

I got on audio yesterday and will be picking up my hardback copy at a signing event on Saturday night! I will once again be oggling the extremely handsome Pierce Brown... Again. For about the 5th or 6th time!! I seriously think he could be the hottest male author out there!

I scored at the library book sale yeterday! I got The Mouse on the Motorcycle, Runaway Ralph, Inside Out and Back Again, books 2 and 3 of the Shades of London series, the Selection series (books 1-3), Siren, Sunny Side Up and Swing it Sunny, Hoops by Walter Dean Myers, Drama, Charlie Bone book 2, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid. 15 books that cost me $7.50!

One of my book groups on Facebook is doing a readalong with that and Wonder Woman on Wednesday. I just happened to see it at Target, SIGNED, so had to grab it! The readalong was my excuse to splurge LOL!

John Green books were all on sale, so I grabbed Katherines (never read it), and I just adored Claudia Gray's last Star Wars book I read (Leia), and they happened to have Lost Stars in paperback. SCORE!

So super happy with my purchases :)
