Finished All the Crooked Saints. I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. I'm just not a huge fan of her books, except The Scorpio Races, that one was good. Started Eliza and Her Monsters and enjoying it so far.

So Jenny and Jen and I started a book advent calendar this year! :-D



Here's a picture of pretty much just the 1st week of books to open (2 of these a day!).

Today I opened and ! Day 1 was a definite success!! Woot woot!!

And then, because I apparently don't have enough books... ;)

I stopped by Barnes and Noble and found my signed copies of and !! I was so happy to find they still had copies left!!

I also picked up . I still need a Q for my A -Z challenge and I've been wanting to add this to my collection for such a long time!

We get 2 books a day :) As we sent 25 books to each other. So I get to open one from Karen, one from Jen every day through Christmas!!! Its so fun already!

Yeah I did plenty of bargain shopping. And we've been planning it all year long, so I would buy 6 or so books a month. Not too bad that way!

Yea, Oda. I started getting books in January. I also go to book events and get free ARCs or stop and buy books at the library. So it wasn't too expensive. Books on sale at Barnes and Noble, and use coupons, etc.

Thanks Karen! I am just loving it as well. You guys are nailing it with your book choices for me. I think this is working so well because we all know each other's reading tastes so well :) I wouldn't suggest doing this with someone you don't know well, unless you give them a list to pick from maybe!

I went to a library book sale last weekend and they had a pile of free ARCs. Most of them were older ones but I did find and !

I picked up some books for my students at the library bookstore the other day, most of them are middle grade books. However, I did find The Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials, and The Death Cure. Maybe I'll actually be able to read through that series now that I own the books.

Some really great looking reads! I've been wanting the Mists of Avalon for a long time! And Away is the sequel to The Line I got from Jen a few days ago! Really promising looking series!

Oh and the Hufflepuff edition of HP and the Sorcerer's Stone! I want to collect all the houses, so glad I got one finally!

I have to wait until Monday for the post office to deliver Day 9, 10 and 11. I think my mailman holds my boxes until he feels like delivering them. I see where they're out for delivery and it's another 2 days before he drops them off. Drives me crazy! But that's alright. Monday is going to be one heck of a bookhaul!! :-D

The Silver Donkey looks very good, cute and heartwarming with a good historical setting. So excited to finally own Alive! I've been meaning to start this series for a long time! And I can finally finish the Something Strange and Deadly series now! And so nice of Jen to give me the duology of The Eternal Ones, been wanting to read that one for awhile!

Sweet! I renewed my account for the 3 month Black Friday Deal last time! So now I'm paid through Feb, which is so nice! Can't wait to get this month's OwlCrate! Mine is supposed to arrive on Monday!
