OHMYGOSH!! Ashes is one of my all time favorites! I think it's what started my venture into YA books. I found a signed copy at my local Barnes & Noble and I've been hooked to YA apocalyptic/dystopian ever since. And then I started in on all genres of YA soon after!

I'll be interested too as I made a tough decision not to buy the whole series when it was the Kindle Daily Deal :)

I really liked the premise,characters, I got into the story, but I felt the book could have been edited quite a bit. IMO it had a lot of 'filler' writing that didn't help the story, just made the book longer. If you see those books in hardback...yeah, they're huge!

Beautiful Creatures... So far it's just "ok". I haven't had ANY "wow" moments yet. I'm reading only because it took soooo long to get from the library. I almost didn't read it but decided to try it because I'd have to wait another two months if I changed my mind and wanted to read it after all. I definitely would not have paid for this one. I'm not far in yet.; about 30%.

Yes! They really should, it's pretty ridiculous when it's one or the other. The sites (particularly Amazon) make it really hard to put books on sale at the same time. I've fought with Amazon a few times about silly policies that hamstring Indies in particular, but I always lose!

I agree! I do have a Kindle account as well, and I just read my Kindle books on my phone or laptop, but I prefer my Nook!

Yeah I saw a lot of really really positive reviews for Angelfall (which I thought was strange, since it still is a YA angel book...) and it was on my wishlist anyways, so I bought it. :) It was only €5,30 on Kobobooks. :) and the other two were €2,30. I have a little bit of money left from the giftcard now, but once I have lots of money I'll probably buy some other books on Kobo, so. :P

Angelfall is awesome! It got good reviews not because it's a YA angel book but because it's a YA angel dystopian book. It's the dystopian feel that makes it awesome in my opinion :)
