I want to read it in June, before I watch the next season of Game of Thrones, since there might be some overlap. Also, anyone who's good at remembering the details from previous books would be hugely appreciated because I can really only get a grasp of major plots and characters (muddled by the TV show, which is a hell of a lot easier to keep track of).
Yes please, I'm in dire need of something light hearted! I'm reading a book on child soldiers in Africa and have a Jared Diamond coming up!
I see you also want to read Naked in Death as one of the Deserted Island choices. I saw a copy in my mother's bookshelf last week, so we can do another buddy read on that one when we get around to it.
I have Naked in Death on my list too, so let me know when you want to read it and I will join in.
Great, my mother is busy with some renovations so her books are in boxes for the next few weeks. Beginning of August should be fine (I'll go and unpack them if I have to find it).
I started Perdido Street Station for the Group Favorites. I'm only about 20% through it. Anyone want to join me?
That is sad!
Benefit to e-books. You can cart your library with you anywhere without requiring a removal van! :D
**Completely off topic - I sooo think publisher's should offer a severely reduced price on the e-book if you're purchasing a hard copy!!
But at this point, I think they're making far too much swindling the book loving community.
I know I'm not the only one who purchases both for certain authors simply because I want to read it before 'my' version is released.

As tragic as it may be, I seem to myself uninspired to read recently!
Even though I have a TBR pile the same height as me, I cannot seem to decide on what I should read next.
Anyone perhaps interested in a buddy read to help me get my butt in gear?
Here are a couple of the titles I have on said list:

And to make matters worse, I haven't gotten round to getting the next incryptid novel, which seems to be all I can use to meet my D&D task... "read a book with a snake character" -
I've managed feline (both domestic cat as well as Jaguar & Panther), canine, bird and Naagloshii - but snake has been darn freakin' evasive!! pfft. :P

Yup. Been stuck on on it since Jan!
But I have now gotten the next 2 Incryptid Novels, which I will tackle this month - so hopefully I'll finally be able to advance my poor character.

I'm happy to read Labyrinth with you, it's been lurking on my shelves for a long time.
Otherwise I'd recommend If I Stay to get going. It's a quick read (I finished it in an evening) and very satisfying.

I'm going to try read these this month,
Let me know when you want to start Labyrinth. I don't mind reading multiple books at once. :)

Wow, it's been a while since we used this thread too!
Anyhoo - Bibliogothica and I are going to start the Greg Mandel series by Peter F. Hamilton in April, if anyone would like to join us?

Let me know when you get to book 3. Might be able to join for that one.

Has anyone read the Bridgertons series? I finished The Duke and I and plan on reading The Viscount Who Loved Me soon. Anyone in?

Here's my list of things to read in 2021 if anybody is interested
For December I have planned:
And if anybody wants to read Afrikaans, I have on the list for 2021:
Dibi Breytenbach's Gode trilogie
Chanette Paul's Vywervrou trilogie
Probably the latest Deon Meyer
I can be convinced to read Sophia Kapp or Santie van der Merwe

Would anybody be interested in a buddy read of
in April? I'd love to nominate it for a group read, but it is only 100 pages, so won't qualify, but I've seen so many positive reviews.

Here are some books that I would want to read between May - July if anybody is interested in some buddy reads:
I'd like to read the sequel to

If
is our April group read, I'd like to read the prequel,
