Great review Anita! My previous Marie Harte book was not very good :(
I love this series and it is rare when the 2nd book is better than the first. I've never read Marie Harte, sorry it wasn't a god book for you.
Just finished #1 and #2 of The Killer Instinct series by Cynthia Eden and loved them. After the Dark, Before the Dawn. Now reading Life of Lies

Just finished Let Me Lie by Clare Mackintosh. Didn't work for me sadly. Kinda dark and depressing, main characters didn't capture my attention. Now I am reading Hold Back the Dark by Kay Hooper. Beginning was pretty good but then it turned into something weird and uncanny. Way too many characters are running around, so it is difficult to concentrate on any of them.

I don't think I could read this. The real movie theater massacre was horrible. There's another author who has a new book set in a high school about shootings. I can't recall who but still too close to home :(
I just recently read Virtue Falls & Obsession Falls...both good. I am now reading Rumble on the Bayou..first time author for me.
Finished Sharon Sala’s Going Once. 4 stars.

A lot of NR's fans are not happy with the "ripped from the headlines" sensationalism of this new book. I agree, but this book was really great aside from that.

Linda Howard's was good but I liked Marie Force's better. I'm gonna look for more of that series. I know you will like it :)

Just finished Missing You by Harlan Coben. It was just meh, didn't enjoy it. Now started Shelter in Place by Nora Roberts. Wow, so far very good. Very nasty baddies and enjoyable main characters.
Just finished Tempting as Sin
And I loved it. It’s one, like her Escape to New Zealand series, I will reread many times.
