I gave myself only partial credit for the betrayal points, because there was some degree of betrayal that happened, but it wasn't a primary theme, at least I wouldn't say so...
Next up on my reading list is either Frankenstein for the monthly group theme read or the girl power challenge read...but I have to get that book from the library first.

No partial points for betrayal this time. There was some straight up deceiving and lying going on. It is also a love story, as are most Nicolas Sparks books. I very much enjoyed it and gave it 4 stars! :)
Now I have to get my but in gear on either my orange book (Life of Pi) already got it from the library. Or the newberry book, nor the black/white book for the August challenge. Eek! So many books to read in August!
I noticed the toppler, but I don't think I'll be able to join in this time. I am trying to get a job, and if all goes as I hope things will probably happen fast. (I'm a teacher, and schools are starting in few weeks). Also my grad school starts middle of the month. I don't think I'd do too well in a 24 hour toppler anyway. Though I hope to be able to join in on other week long ones at some point. :)

This was an interesting read. Not at all what I expected exactly, but good. I gave it 3 stars. Be warned if you plan to read it though, there are some gruesome parts. I didn't like them but they didn't bother me so much.

I liked this book, but it was so long! It had a lot of Egypt-mythology, and info about gods and goddesses. Its a Young Adult book, but probably geared toward the younger set in that category. Kind of reminded me Inkheart, because of the adventure aspect.
Yellow, and violet! I did indigo. A Wrinkle in Time.I hope I can manage it, with textbooks to read, and articles for research it might not be easy. Also even though I have my possibilities I've listed I may consider other books.
Finally finished my violet book!Violet: Book on Wishlist

I've been missed? :) Well that makes me feel kind of special. I've started reading Aunt Dimity and the Deep Blue Sea for Yellow.
Strangely enough blue is in the title...but I decided to read it for Yellow, instead of my other original options I had listed.
