Anyone Read the Night Huntress Series *Cat and Bones?

Anyone read any of the Night Huntress Series by Jeaniene Frost? I hav read all four books, but havent read books, 5 and 6 ??? I think b/c I am worried there won't be anymore passion in the story or drama...

I know! I know! I am such a drama queen. Opinions?

I stopped in Book 5 for Night Huntress and read entire Night Huntress World. I got side tracked. My favorite book is book 2 and love Ian...he is one funny dude and surprisingly sexy despite his being a dog.

I finished book #1 a little while ago, I think at the end she said she wrote Bones a letter. Do we ever find out what that letter said? Maybe it told me and I need to go back and read it. Also, where did Bone go to when Cat left him? Sad...

got the first one but haven't started yet because I think once i do I will want them all and I have to wait till christmas for more books! plus I have loads of stand alone TBR on my kindle

Have any of you read the spin-off series about Vlad? Night Prince? I've read the first one and I have an ARC of book two waiting for me to clear some time for the Vladiator as I like to call him:)

What do you guys think of the more recent books, to be honest I haven't read the last two books. I was worried that the steam would disappear. Thoughts?

Also, one of my biggest fears with series that go longer than 3 to 5 books is that they tend to become repetitive. Anyone feel that this is the case with the last few books in the series?

I haven't gotten the "Ok, please let it die" vibe from these yet. I think I'm far too smitten with the characters. Of course, that's what I thought about Anita Blake, 12+ books ago too, and now I cringe each time she announces a new one.

I think she's done a good job of keeping the plots and the characters growing thus far. The only thing I can really complain about, is that there is very little of the playful, witty banter we've all come to love in the last book . One Grave at a Time It is much more Cat-centric. I'm hoping more will return in book 7. Up From the Grave
