I do not have many favorite books. In fact, I believe that is it. I can count them all and make a short list. Twilight isn't even in my list. not even the host. I am picky, I guess.

2. Opal By Jennifer Armentrout
3. Divergent By Veronica Roth
4. United Eden By Nicole Williams
5. Hallowed By Cynthia Hand

The Dresden Files: Storm Front, Volume 1: The Gathering Storm again the whole series but this one got me hooked into the characters big time.
more modern book The Hunger Games the books was better then the movie was.
Year 50 now that one had me so hooked it was all I thought about for weekday afterwards. Even though I had just gave it 4 stars that was mostly due to editing and a few plot hole issues. But its an indie author who is still new to his craft. I can hardly wait for year 51 to be released.
finally I choose Odd Thomas the whole series.

But I had the pleasure of reading so many many great ones that 5 is really not justice LOL! All of these were so so great!

And I just can't leave this one out...ugh!

Wow, I remember how much I liked On a Pale Horse and I read the first 5 books back in the day, but the last 2 weren't out yet. I am going to have to reread them all. Thanks for the idea...

It is hard to stop at 5! :)

YES! It's a very good book just be sure to have tissues handy ;)

The Story of San Michelle
The Clowns of God
A Story Like The Wind
Titus Groan
All read when I was 15 - tricky to fix any of these into Y/A now, but we read anything then - not what we were told to read. If I were to stick to Y/A now:
The Fire Eaters
Vicky Angel
Mortal engines
Noughts and Crosses
Moominvalley in November - a children's book - but a mind-blower for Y/A & adults alike.
