Hi everyone. I'm in San Antonio, TX. I'm not new to Goodreads, but I don't post often. I like to sew and work with clay and I am an unqualified book strumpet. Since Linda Howard is an auto-buy for me, I couldn't miss this discussion.

Hi there, just saying hello! Linda Howard's book Open Season was the first romance book I ever read. I picked it up while on holiday in Peru a very long time ago! It got me hooked on contemporary romance and eventually led to me writing my own contemporary romance books - Linda Howard has a lot to answer for! :) It still remains one of my all time favourite books. I am new both to GR and to the Linda Howard group. I'll probably lurk awhile until I know the site better. Linda Howard is one of my favorite authors and I have many of her books on my Kindle. I don't re-read books often but she is one of the exceptions. Thanks to her for her keeping us entertained and to you all for keeping us informed.
I am new to this group. Lately, I've been experiencing great feelings of affection while reading romantic literature. I'm wondering, do you think it's possible to fall in love with fictional or non fiction characters, by reading romantic language. Through your experience, is it normal to fall in love, while reading?

HI There my name is Najie. I am on Linda/Linda's facebook page and just recently found you guys when she posted the Q&A link. I am one of the admins over at the Lindahowardfans.proboards.com page. We were originally on the discussion board at Simon and Shuster, but made our own fan based page once those boards were taken down. We've been over there now for about five years. We have a great group of ladies and we have monthly discussions on everything Linda Howard and other things. Can't wait to see her answers to the Q&A~!

Hi, all! I'm Wanda and I've only been reading Linda Howard's novels for a couple of years. My first was Dream Man, liked it and read everything else of hers. She is an amazingly versatile author. I like that her heroes aren't afraid to admit when they've been jerks. My absolute favorites are Mr. Perfect, Mackenzie's Pleasure, After the Night and the Blair Mallory books.

Hi, recently new to the group and excited to know that there was even a group. I've been a fan of Linda Howard since I was in college and needed some down time reading. This is Belinda from Tinana, QLD - at the moemnt, I may a few extra free days, The call centre I work in has had to be evacuated due rising flood waters in Maryborough QLD Australia. I have lived here for almost 13 years, it's the highest I have ever seen it. We are expecting 11m+!! Yikes!!

As long as it not your home it seems exciting, but if you are not getting paid it might be scary. I hope you or your loved ones are in the flood. Anyway, welcome to the group.
