I have been a happy and content member of Good Reads for several years now - what an innovative concept. I like the idea of of "friending" your favorite authors in order to keep up to date with their current projects and future endeavors. Linda Howard has been one of my favorite authors since her Harlequin days and MacKenzie's Mountain, and she always will be.

@ Mickey, Mackenzie's Mountain seems to be a favorite among us here.
@Lyndsay, you don't need to be in town for the Q&A...just go to the link here and post your questions and LH will answer them, the link will remain so you can get answers to your questions and all the other member questions when you return!! Just be sure to post your questions before the 15th. PS.....ALL my LH books are in the same shape as yours!!!
I've been reading books by both Lindas ever since each first began writing. Lately, it's been a few more by Linda H. because those appeared more readily at our city libraries, but I like their books pretty equally. However, I've not had time to read either of their joint-venture books--I've got a lot of books just waiting at home (as well as at the library).As for a question? I'm wondering how the two got together and how they divide up/arrange the writing. Does each have a special strength?
BTW, I just read Linda Jones's Come to Me yesterday. Lovely characters and certainly some out-of-the-norm situations. Enjoyed it very much.

I am with you Karen. I have ALL her books, some I had to search the internet for. She is one of the few authors that I have to read. I just read shadow woman and it is terrific.

Hello everyone! I'm Caroline, I'm 23 yrs. old and I live in Manila city, Philippines...okay I think I sound like a kid joining an amateur kiddie beauty contest LOLI'm fond of 'getting even', 'pay back time' or (in a more precise meaning :D) revenge themed novels or stories. And it happened that I accidentally stumbled with one of Ms. Linda Howard's book; After the Night and I really LIKE it very much, made a review about it, added another quote on the goodreads webpage of the book and then I got invited in this group and now I'm here :). I hope I made the long story short lol I'm glad to be invited and to join this group! Thanks for inviting me! =^.^= ♥
Caroline We are so happy to have you in our group. I led After the Night also. That was the 2nd book I read. I think it is so cool to have someone that is on the other side of the world from me. I live in Arizona in the United States. I'm not sure, but I am guessing way different climate. I live in a desert. Dorsey, the other moderator, lives by the ocean.

Hi I joined GR 2 years ago but have not joined any groups or discussions cuz I was too busy & able to talk to my sister who got me reading in the first place. Hooked me with LH's 'A Knight In Shining Armor' I just Loved that book. Needless to say my sister slowed way down on her reading & I passed her about a year ago & I started getting frustrated with no one to talk to so here I am.

It's fun that I can share some ideas or tackle things that I'm 'unaware of' :) Yeah, I think we have a different climate, the temperature in here more frequently than not is dry and humid, sort of tropical =)
Hi, my name is Lorez. I am 38 years old and have been reading romance novels since i was 10 years old. Linda Howard is one of my favorite authors. Hard to choose which book of hers that I love the most. The standouts and the the ones that I have read over and over (thank God for the Kindle app!) are 'All the Queens Men', 'Cry No More', 'Drop Dead Gorgeous', 'Dying to Please', 'Mr. Perfect' and 'Blood Born'. I'm still upset that they have no plans to complete the second part of 'Blood Born'.
Hi, I'm Rithie. I've been a Linda Howard fan since I started reading romance books a few years ago. Their are several of her books that I read over and over. They're my go to books when I can't find anything I want to read. As I've read some of the posts here I see other books mentioned and I've been thinking "Oh man, I need to read that again." Karen where in Ohio do you live? I use to live in Cleveland area. Loved the place, but my family lives in AZ and if it was a choice between the state and my family my family won hands down. Now I live in Phoenix Az where there is 3 seasons Hot, Hotter, and Hottest

I enjoy finding people that read (near me) as none of my friends like to and think I'm a little crazy for how much I read.
Having the four seasons here is nice (I'm originally from northern California) although the winters get just a little too cold for me.

Good morning to all from Banning, Ca (near Palm Springs)I love Q&A sessions so when this became an option I welcomed the opportunity to learn more.
I have a 100 Goodreads award book challenge for 2013 that joins the monthly reads and challenges.
Kindle and Audible are my current choices for purchasing books.... no adds to my large physical library.

so glad I added classics to the list this year.
The Linda Howard books have always been a favorite read.

I'm new to the GR Group thing...but I love to read and love all the books I've read by LH!!! I kinds of go in spells where I have to read a certain author or certain type of book. I worry that my TBR list will take me into my 90's and I can read a book about a day or two. Anyway...I'm excited to be apart of this group. Thanks.
