After the first wave (you know who you are), I made sure that I invited almost everyone especially those who already showed up in the past during the meet up years and in any of the F2Fs. I also made a general invitation for the remaining slots but only Rachel and Shiela gave us their nods. Way to go, Rachel and Shiela!

To everyone: In the event I would not be able to usher Mina on Saturday, is there anyone else willing to take my place? Imperative, especially since there are only a few days before the date. You just have to be a good host, really, and make sure she's comfortable with everyone.

Sad news: DC won't make it on Saturday. Her reason is valid. So, we will just use the IDs she prepared in our next event. Anyway, let's not have IDs anymore and I think Mina will be okay since this will be her 2nd time to attend this July event.

We are now down to 47.

We now have 3 extra plates. Remember the dinner will be a buffet but the food quantity is good (according to Uncle Cheffy) to fill 50 regular-sized tummies. I increased the quantity from 40 to 50 and reserved them last Friday (1 week before the event) so it cannot be changed anymore.

I hope DC is already the last one to back out. Otherwise, we will have more excess food to eat. But do let us know if you can't make it (and I sincerely appreciate DC telling me this early) so we will not wait for you. It's difficult to text and worry about somebody who is late or not coming because people in the event would keep on asking: Sino na lang wala? Si ganito, si ganyan, darating pa ba? Then I keep on texting.
