I finished on 7/31 and give it 4*'s. I enjoyed the book, as sad as I will be to see the series end, also nice to have the story lines start to wrap up. I am excited to see how the turn of events at the end of this book affect Riley in the next two books.

Finished Sins of the Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon last night. 07/31 ****


I have to say, every time I start one of these books I do so hoping it's just as good as the last one or at least for it not to be the first step down the hill for the series as it has happened with so many others.

I'm happy to report I'm still surprised every time because it just gets better and better.
On this book we learn a bit more about Ash, Simi (whom I luuuv) and the first Dark Hunters ever created.
It's also the first book where we have a female dark hunter, or dark huntress, and I think she was pretty good.

Hi everyone, I finished my Demon shelf book, A Perfect Blood, kim harrison....4*s....08.01...I absolutely love this series. Rachel & Trent could this be the new love interest? definitely something to watch - Jinx is hillarious & Al, well he is still Al-still snarkey lol my favorite line next to tink is a disney whore would have to be when Al says you're back my itchy witch. Looking forward to the next book but will probably have to wait a bit as this one was released in Feb 2012.

This one picks up right where book one ended. The action doesn't stop in this one. I liked this one a little better as Celia had a few positives (okay, not many) to go with all the bad stuff. She learns more about herself and plot threads are resolved, others not.

Hi again everyone I finished my free space read, A Discovery of Witches, deborah harkness...4*s...08.02.2012...it was an absolutely great read. Love the story & the characters...Ms Harkness definitely has a way of writing that puts you in the book - you feel like you are experiencing the same things as the character...definitely looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Well so far I have finished 3 books & it's only the 3rd of Aug Im off to a good start for the month..lol...just wanted to say that I have finished my Ghost shelf book, The Next Always,nora roberts...3s...08.03.2012...im really not sure why I did not care for this book. Nora has been a great fav of mine for a very long time & I usually love all of her books but this one lacked her usual feel to it. I didnt care for the "sam" character but then you arent suppose to like him but I thought the story with this character didnt need to be in the story but the character "liz" needed to be developed more. Ill read the next book but this book was really not a fav of mine

Finished Gunmetal Magic on 8/8/12 and give it 5*'s. I loved this book. At first I wasn't sure about the novella coming after Andrea's story, but it made sense in the end. I love Kate Daniels. I will try to write more tonight but we have company in town so reviewing from my phone might be it.

Good setup for next book (Gideon) and a hint at Paris's. I was surprised at the ending, didn't see that coming. The war continues, more things are learned. I really would like to read Cameo's and Torin's story(or stories); very curious how Showalter would work with that one.

Gunmetal Magic by Ilona Andrews 08/09****

Excellent book!, loved it.
This is Andrea and Raphael's book and the timeline is parallel with Magic Gifts, which I found really interesting since we get to read a couple of scenes from both Kate and Andrea's POV.
It was hilarious!, Ascanio is becoming my favorite secondary character.
I think it's great the author is starting to write these other guys their own story, I saw next one is Jim and Dali's, can't wait!
