I have always thought Loose-ID was pronounced in 'full' - will have to retrain myself! Thanks Dee :)
Thanks Fran for the discount code - I hadn't got around to searching for it yet... ;)
Does anyone have a preference for timing?

Any time in the month of June is fine with me.

I'm not in the PIFM again... I love picking the books for others to read, but I'm a bit slack about reading the pick options for me :(

Now getting behind the wheel again....can't picture it.

Thanks Jane :)

Uh oh....

...I think my reading might be becoming more quirky ;) (Think A Matter of Time, Fran)

Part of what I like about it is the setting. It takes place in NY, all of the references so far are familiar to me. I have two brothers and two sons that are baseball fans, as well as a Dad and husband who also follow it. So the whole feel is familiar to me. One of my sons is actually at a Yankee game right now, lol. (even though we are Mets fans!).

I really enjoyed the peek into what closeted pro athletes go through- the lying, the self-loathing because of the lying, the difficulties of having any kind of long-term or meaningful relationships. It's obviously so difficult, and you feel their anguish.
The ending was slightly fairy-tale but that's the way I like it! Perfect for me :)
4.5*

And what about next month? Does anyone have something they want to nominate for this buddy read?

Ok - here are some of the books I am planning to read soon (next few months), to see if anyone is interested in buddy-reading them...
The Dark Angels: With Wings
The Long Way Home
Some Kind of Magic
Talker
With a Kiss
Nowhere Ranch
Mexican Heat
Our December
Hounded by Love
At Piper's Point
Out of Bounds
The Heart of Texas
Burn
Fran? Dee? Anyone else? Do you have any books you'd like to throw out there?

I have Talker so I vote for that one. But if you decide to read something else it's fine. I really liked At Piper's Point and Out of Bounds, I'll jump in and chat about those if you pick one of them.

Have you read Talker, Dee?
I'm not hung up on any book - feel free to throw in suggestions...

Isa K is railing against the publishers... It's not necessarily something I would choose to read (mainly because I'm not into slave themes) - I'm going to give it a go though if it isn't too long :) If you sign up to the challenge then she'll email you a coupon for 60% off. Here is where you sign up: http://www.guttersnipe.info
(she promises not to chase you even if you don't complete the challenge...)
So that is another book that is a bit out of left field :)

Break and Enter
St. Nacho's
Stirring Up Trouble
In Bed With The Boss
Frat Boy and Toppy
Faith & Fidelity
Thief

AL is a bit hit and miss for me, but I haven't rated any book below 3 stars...

Break and Enter
St. Nacho's
Stirring Up Trouble
In Bed With The Boss
Frat Boy and Toppy
Faith & Fidel..."
I'd be interested in Frat Boy which I don't think Dee has read...

Are you in for Frat Boy and Toppy or do you have time to read Out in the Field in the next 3 days? :)
