S&L affecting Audible algorithms?

I'm a big audio fan and have been with Audible since they started. I pair eBook with audio if I can. I don't usually differentiate between audio and reading. In fact, I soak in information better via audio. I think by now, my auditory cortex is dense with highly developed cells. Now, I'm rethinking that I need to highlight the audios to promote sites like Audibles, since they have affected my ability to "read" enormously.
Books mentioned in this topic
Tigana (other topics)The Lies of Locke Lamora (other topics)
The Magicians (other topics)
Certainly it's possible that these are just linked by all being SciFan and having a similar readership (listernship, whatever), but it seems a bit too specific for me to pass it off as coincidence.
Are we making waves in the background math behind Audible?
