Jim Webster, (In On a Chance! )

First I was away in London for a couple of days with meetings, got back and we lost broadband. It's back but perhaps only briefly so just thought I'd wave and say hi.

Maybe you should wear safety glasses while in London. You don't want your eyes damaged after the operations.

BT spent about seven hours here today and I've got broadband, but at about 0.7meg, he's coming back tomorrow and this time he's bringing a mate because he's going to start banging metaphorical heads together :-)

That would be my silver lining.
Got any snow, Jim?"
No snow, just endless persisting rain :-(
Got a little more written but spent most of my time assisting BT engineer rewire us internally, so all new telephone wires in house, several faults found externally and hopefully more to come tomorrow.
Yes 11k words is nice but it's frustrating as I've also got other stuff to do, going on the web and grabbing scientific papers in a manner that looked like one of those supermarket dashes, frantically filling my boots before the broadband died again

cheers
MTM

I noticed the new photo on facebook. Very nice.

So THAT'S how he does it.

Years of constant practice! Only a true dedication to my art has given me the perseverance necessary

I'm sure that's an electric chainsaw, they've just photoshoped out the flex!
