Riki (the_milof) | 2 comments Hello! I'm Riki from Kansas City, MO! I'm 29, and the first VFH I watched was in 2016. I've been following ever since, and I recently got all caught up on the 2012 books. I've discovered so many great authors through this club, and I love watching the hang outs! The club helped me rediscover my love of reading after a few years break. I can't wait until the next hangout!

Amanda (kochgrrl) | 1 comments How did I NOT know about this group?!?!?! Thank Mothra's nipples one of my friends from another group joined or I'd STILL not know!!
My name is Amanda. I recently started reading like a fiend again and am happier than ever. The best part is, I discovered the ROMANCE genre. I never knew it was so HUGE and diverse. I was always a YA girl and now I have broadened my horizons, I will never be the same.

Tracy (zodia81) | 107 comments Hi everyone! I somehow missed this group and just heard about it yesterday. I am very much looking forward to getting book recommendations from like minded readers. When I am not reading you can find me hiking in the woods taking photos or at home gaming. Paranormal romance is my favorite genre but I read a little bit of everything. Recently I have been trying to add more non-fiction to my life. Trying to learn something every now and then.

PS: I have a wishlist on Amazon just for kindle books, it's kind of out of control. But whats a few more books right? :)

Suzanne the Bookaholic and Proud | 1 comments Hey everyone and VF, my names Suzanne, im 32 with 2 boys, 3 dogs, 2 cats oh and my other half (the worst half lol), im an avid reader of anything and everything, HAPPY READING!! xx

Lindsi (Do You Dog-ear?) (doyoudogear) Hi! I'm Lindsi. I really got into reading and book blogging during college. I'm not sure how I found the time, but I made it work! I used to go to every book event I could, and I made a lot of amazing friends along the way.

Eventually, I got married and had children. I never had time to just sit and read a book, but I've really been trying to get back into it. I had deleted my previous blog, knowing that chapter of my life had been forever closed, but that didn't mean I lost my interest in books. I still love to read whenever I can. My neighbor actually suggested Vaginal Fantasy, so I'm excited to see what books you guys come up with. I used to read strictly YA books, but ever since reading Demon Lover by Juliet Dark, I've been wanting to find other things like it. I think this might be the place for that.

Also, if you haven't read Demon Lover by Juliet Dark, you should! It's a trilogy.

The FountainPenDiva, Old school geek chick and lover of teddy bears (thefountainpendiva) I've been lurking here for a while so I suppose it's time to properly introduce myself.

Avid bibliophile, collector of fountain pens (hence my user name), 51 year young geek chick and steampunk maven. I've had a love-hate relationship with the romance genre over several decades but somehow I never abandon it.

I do have one hard and fast rule which applies to every genre I read: The Fountain Pen Diva must love the heroine as much as I do the hero. This rule is not subject to discussion nor debate, lol. Heroine hijacking is a no-no.

I am thrilled that ebooks have made subgenres of romance like interracial and LGBTQ widely available because I absolutely adore IR. It's great to finally have PoC as heroines and heroes who get the happily ever after. I've found so many awesome novels. One of this year's you must reads is An Extraordinary Union. Normally you'd never get me anywhere near a romance set during the Civil War (because I've read too much fail from past authors who totally glossed over the slavery aspect) but this novel did everything right.

Nik (bleepnik) Ohai. I joined this group a few days ago, got the link from a friend. I'm not super familiar with this genre, but I really loved the Fever series and I think that fits? Anyway, my friend and I decided to read A Promise of Fire and she said it was September's pick here and I've been following some of the group hosts/moderators for years so … *breathe* … hiiiiii.

I'm a 41yo brown trans man, displaced New Yorker, geek, gamer. I like tea and most fiction genres. I don't adult very well. I don't particularly want to adult very well. =P

Trina Dubya (trina_dubya) I first found the book club because I was reading The Lions of Al-Rassan a while back, and I wanted to get more information about the book. Google led me to the Vaginal Fantasy YouTube video, and I've been casually following and reading when I could. Tonight was my first time watching the discussion on YouTube instead of catching it later. That was a lot of fun!

I'm 43 at the moment, cis female, and from Southern California. I sing in a women's community chorus that I love, I read and use the public library a lot, I have three cats, and I love to cook and eat.

Anne Berkeley (aberkeley) | 1 comments Hello!

I was an avid horror reader and occasional romance reader through my teen years (was a damn long time ago), but picked up the habit again about ten years ago with, yes, Twilight. But my thirst for reading grew with authors like Diana Gabaldon, J.R. Ward, and Karen Marie Moning (just to name a few). I switched genres from the occasional romance to avid romance and the occasional mystery. I started writing when my budget couldn't keep up with my thirst. I just finished my first series (woo!). In between writing, I still read the occasional book, and devour audiobooks when I can't read. I just joined Playster as the library could no longer support my habit. Well, that's me in a nutshell. Hope to join some of the challenges here!!

Amber Hayes | 1 comments Hello everyone,

I am not a romance enthusiast, however I enjoy a good Scifi and fantasy book.
I stumble upon Vaginal Fantasy looking for things to listen to while I work. I've always found Felicia Day very entertaining. So I started watching the Vaginal Fantasy series on Youtube, Needless to say I was hooked.
I and have becalm a big fan of all the hosts of the show.
I've watched all the episodes from the fist one, I am currently on episode 60. I am excited that there is a break so that I catch up, and read the book of choice for November and take part in the discussions. All though that is not a necessity when enjoying these videos.

This is also my first time on Goodreads. I am excited to try new things, meet new people, and read new books.

Adele Knight | 1 comments Hello Hello!
I'm a beach-loving Aussie living "sunny" Seattle.
I love my heroines feisty and my heroes irresistible and I would choose a good book over food any day.
Looking forward to finding my next book boyfriend and meeting fellow Book Nutts.

J.M. Lawler | 1 comments Hi all, I'm Jann from Adelaide, Australia. I'm a major fan of books featuring complex, interesting women in the lead. I'm not going to use the term "strong women"... just give me real women, and real women's stories. Those stories include fantasy by the way...currently reading The Mists of Avalon and loving it.

It's wonderful to be here.

message 813: by A.J. (new)

A.J. Ryder (aj_ryder) Hi there!

I'm AJ. I'm a gamer, reader, and published romance author. Feel free to check out my Kinky Geeks: 10 Book Collection in your spare time, if you get the notion and find yourself in the mood for a few quick and steamy reads (no pressure ;) )

Anyway, I LOVE the fantasy genre. I dunno...something about the magic and grand epicness of it all just appeals to me. Tolkien and Salvatore are at the top of my list of favorites, but I also enjoy lesser known, indie names like Aida Jacobs. I highly recommend her "Primordyan Chronicles" for the sake of watching Marin (the protagonist) grow and evolve from a frightened and unsure hero-in-training she starts out as in the first book, and into a right, true badass. There's currently 3 books out, and I am REALLY excited for the 4th to come out!

Oh! I went ahead and posted in the Author folder about an ARC that I have available for my upcoming, fantasy-romance, "Bonds Eternal". I don't want to get more self-promoey than I already have here in my intro, so if you're interested, go read the post :)

Happy to be here!

Kaidan (keidrama) | 1 comments I've known about the hangouts since Tabletop.

I just caught my first stream today.

I read a lot of chick-lit as a teen but stopped reading books when I was spoiled with audible.

Hope to start reading physical books again!

message 815: by Katie (new)

Katie (redbirdwings) | 17 comments Hello! I'm Katie from Georgia (the state, not the country), and I'm working to become a librarian. I love to read and talk to people about what I read, and I'm really glad to have found this group!

I love fantasy and paranormal, as well as some sci-fi. I tend to really enjoy urban fantasy and speculative fiction, like the Anita Blake series and the Dresden Files books. I used to dislike reading ebooks, but now they are the only way I finish books within my schedule. Most of my books come from recommendations, ARCs, or by favorite authors. I will always consider a suggested book, but my to-read list has been building exponentially and I have not yet learned to slow time to catch up.

It's great to be here!

message 816: by Darinne (new)

Darinne Paciotti | 3 comments Hi all! I'm a fantasy reader and writer. I enjoy different kinds of fantasy and paranormal, and I like humorous sci fi. My writing is a retelling of Greek mythology centered around the gods. I also write romance under a different name. I've been reading more romance than fantasy lately, but I am always on the look out for new fantasy, especially if it has some humor and/or is written by women.

Ashley | 6 comments Hello! I discovered this book club about a year or two ago, but never got around to joining in. I'm at a place where I can join in, and can't wait to join in on the discussions on here. It's too late for me to join in on February's discussion, but can't wait to learn what March's book is so I can read it and join in on the discussions!

So a little about me: My name is Ashley. I love reading romance, mystery, action, and adventure. I also love to write, and hope to be a published author one day. Looking forward to being a part of this book club!

Anne Vivliohomme (annevivliohomme) Hello felllow nerds! At least, I hope you're nerds. Or booklovers. Which I guess you are since this is Goodreads... Anywaayyy I'm rambling. (that's a word right? I'm Dutch so sometimes I think I say a super high class word but it turns out to be some kind of fungi...) I am Anne and I came here because when a mommy and daddy love each other... no just kidding :) I take part in the Popsugar Reading Challenge and one of the to-reads was a book read by celebrity book club. I was actually hoping for a Carrie Fisher book club ( 'cause she's totally awesome) but I stumbled on this group (jay!). Supernatural lover over here by the way:) So mostly it's because of Queen Felicia (Hi by the way!! Totally not fangirling right now. Or maybe a bit. A big bit.) Other things about me: I like thunderstorms, weird socks, weird people, and I'm weird myself too. Nice to meet y'all!
