Nemi was close to the other name, and it fit well with her mate, Tivold. At least, I think they fit.
Hi, I'm Linda and I have been woefully negligent of reading this past year. After connecting with Bonnie on Twitter, I checked out the latest Youtube hangout and loved it. I've never been in a book club, and I hope joining will inspire me to read more and discover new authors. Plus, romance...right? :)

Hola! I am Virginia, 37 year old from Las Vegas. I am raven haired and bitter and I love strawberry cake. I was born in Santiago, Chile and raised in Denver , Colorado. I just finished a 3 day marathon of all the Vaginal Fantasy vids and am finally caught up! Being in a regular book club is way too much commitment for me so Vag Fants is right up my alley. My favorite books are m/m romance fantasy and strong female driven sci fi. I am also a big graphic novel and manga fan. Also, I was a Bonnie B in the "Which Vag Fants Member Are You" quiz!
Good Morrow fellow bibliophiles! My name is Krista, and i am a newbie to this group. I herald from Wahpeton ND, which is basically 45 min to an hour away from anything resembling civilization. I am a Fantasy/Romance junkie and thoroughly enjoy watching the Vaginal Fantasy Hangouts on YouTube. I am joining to gain new friends who read, because most of my personal posse don't enjoy the written word all that much :( So please Friend me!! chat me up!!
I haven't introduced myself yet. Sorry for that!My name is Barbara and I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm 27 and I'm an Art Professor here in my city.
One day I would love to illustrate any romance novel cover. I started reading these kind of novels at the age of 16-17. My first book was "Because You are mine" by Lisa Kleypas. I joined the group after watching VF youtube videos. I like medieval/fantasy novels, but I'm ok with other themes.
If anyone would like to add me @skype or share emails or anything (just talk and learn some Spanish, maybe?) I'm happy to it!
Hi, I'm Anna and I live in Trondheim, Norway. I'm 20 (21 in 15 days), and currently studying Data Technology (mostly computer programming) at the university here.
I used to read a lot, but it became less during high school. Last year I read mostly young adult, crime, and a song of ice and fire.
I found out about Vaginal Fantasy through Geek & Sundry YT channel, and found out I actually love these kinds of books. I especially like fantasy/romance. The last two days I've bought 6 new books on my kindle because of VA, and I'm really looking forward to reading them.

Hi, I'm Brittani. I'm 25 and from Iowa, USA. I've checked out a few random Vaginal Fantasy videos back when it first started, before I started reading romance novels. I've been working on a sci-fi novel for about four years now and I somehow ended up reading some romance novels for research and became hooked (although mostly for how awful some of them were, I'll admit). I mostly read sci-fi and the occasional fantasy.I'm always happy to find any that are considered "feminist" or just novels that have a good romance within the story without it being the main theme. I decided to jump on the VagFan train when I heard the android theme get tossed around, in hopes of reading some more for "research."
Hi I'm Anita. I've only been a member of this club for a few weeks but haven't intro'd myself and figured I should. I'm from Arizona. I'm in my 30s. A friend of mine got me started in the fantasy genre, and of course it happened to have lots of romance in it so now I am totally addicted. Stumbled upon this group through Geek and Sundry which someone else got me hooked on a few months ago via TableTop. I watched a few of the hangouts and was hooked.I love to write and have already gotten some great inspiration from a few of the hangouts I've watched and I can't wait to dig in reading some of these really awesome looking books. :D
Have just joined in on the fun, looking forward to future pow-wows. I will read anything.
Felicia cracks me up, loved her on Eureka & Supernatural, and love The Guild - though I only know the bare bones re: D&D.
So, I've found this group & am ready to giggle. ♡

I have a Facebook book club that I started. I've always watched Felicia since she started The Guild. I love that series. Anyway I found them on youtube and I joined right up! I am on episode 7 of the Vaginal Fantasy and trying to get caught up before the next book club. I have the book to discuss for the next time around as well! I'm so excited.Anyway!
My name is Whytonia and I love to read all the books that they have read. This group is perfect for me! I live in North Carolina so I'm on the other side of the country and trying to join in. It's going to be really late when they do their chats but I think I can stay up that late.
I'm 30 years old. I have no kids, a husband, and 2 cats and a dog. I work at a family run transportation business. Let me know if anyone is on the east coast!!
Hello! My name is Corrie and I've been "lurking" for a while. I recently quit my job and moved to the-middle-of-nowhere-Arizona because my husband got a job out here. Since I have a lot more free time, I thought it was finally time for me to stop lurking and start participating. I spend my time writing a monthly newsletter for a greyhound adoption group, blogging all the time, and writing letters to pretty much everyone I know. I love to read, but there are no book clubs here, so I Skype with my old book club once a month. I grew up with romance novels because that is all my mom will read, but I myself read a bit of everything. Before this move I was an English teacher, so pretty much my genre choice is "yay books!" I am excited to have people to talk to about books every month!
Hi, all! I'm Victoria, and I just found out about this group from a recommendation to follow Felicia from my Goodreads for Kindle app. I've fallen behind on watching The Guild, which was always so fun, and never knew about the Geek and Sundry podcast, so I guess you could call me a "Living under a rock" geek! I play World of Warcraft (Alliance dominant, but play both sides), Diablo 3, Rift, Aion, Aura Kingdoms, and Marvel Heroes. I've also tabletop RP'd in college and the recent past, but with the death of one of our DM's that's dropped off in recent months.
I have two children that I'm trying to instill a love of geekery, with rousing success on my youngest and minimal success on my oldest. I also love to read, mainly romance novels, but I do also read a bit of Fantasy and Sci-Fi as well. Looking forward to going back through and catching up with the group!

Hi! My name is Sandra and I live in Austin,TX. This book club has rekindled my love of books so much that it inspired me to create my own book blog!http://whatlovelybooks.com
Hopefully I will make a youtube channel soon and do book reviews and recommendations. Some of the books I pick will definitely be due to this book club and all the new books that I have found because of it.
Hello, my name is Anna and I'm a bibliophile. Also, I live in Poland. I divide my time between books, games (Guild wars 2), selected few TV shows and two cats.I found VF through Geek&Sundry and I enjoyed videos immensly.

I think it's awesome that your love of reading has been rekindled by VFH! Welcome.
Hi, I'm Lori and I'm a book addict! I love romance, especially erotica. I'm married with fur children (2 dogs, 2 cats, and a horse)and I live in the middle of nowhere in Nevada. I don't get to town much so I'm in need of cyber friends to chat with about my book addiction! I'm hoping to have some great chats with everyone!

Hi I am Estella! I have always loved to read romance novels. I started very young and I was probably 10 when I started reading young adult books. I put reading on hold for about 5 years until I got pregnant and had to be on bed rest. I read a tub full of books every 2 - 2 1/2 weeks. Then life got busy again with a preemie so I stopped again. A friend of my kept talking to me about FSOG. So I read it and my love for reading picked back up and I now have 3 book blogs! Well thanks for allowing me to join the group!
Hello! I am Lorraine. I am an avid reader and thanks to FSOG and my itchy one-click finger on my Kindle erotica seems to be my new fav!You are so right on your above post about how mainstream it is becoming. I find it popular amongst many of my girlfriends and the books become centers of our converations! Have you read any of the Dom Wars yet?

I haven't read any Dom Wars yet. Have you?
Lori wrote: "Yes, Gina, I'm excited that it's becoming so popular! I don't have to feel like a freak!!"Exactly, and now that it is becoming more mainstream, more authors are unleashing their writing and widening the genre. Exciting times?
Hello everyone! My name is Jamie and from the Seattle area. I first fell in love with fantasy books, especially when there is a female protagonist, with Meredith Ann Pierece's Darkangel trilogy. I have slipped into pararomance and enjoy conversing with others who enjoy fantasy books.
Hi I am new here. My name is Amber and I hail from the middle TN area. I love fantasy novels and paranormal romances like the League and Darkhunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I also love anything that is a good read.
Hi, I'm Saila and I live in Finland. You could argue that I need fantasy romance for retaining bodyheat because it is so cold in here during the winter (also much of this June when we were all wearing our autumn clothing because the summer wouldn't come..) but actually I joined because I enjoy reading and have only recently found the fantasy books with a little steaminess nice to read. I found the Geek & Sundry channel because I love gaming, comics, fantasy, sci-fi and superhero movies but it was my husband who started watching the Vaginal Fantasy videos because he enjoyed the discussions. So then he suggested that I check them out too so that's why I am lurking here. Good husband is good.
My first love was anything vampire-related because as a kid I could identify myself with pale creatures. So I started reading Anne Rice and later the Sookie Stackhouse novels, of course. Now I'm looking forward to widening my horizons by joining this group.
Hello, I'm Bec and I'm from Australia. I have always had a love for the paranormal, and even more when it had a little romance in it. My first venture into the adult side was with Guilty Pleasure a few years ago, and I've been going ever since. I was really happy when I found the Vaginal fantasy website, as I don't really have many people I know who really love these books as much as I do. I have read so many, that I have lost count, and I am always looking for something new.
I love Karen Marie Moning's Fever series, minus the last book. Karen Chance, pretty much any of her books, and so many others.
Hello all, I'm Louise, and I'm from the greater Philadelphia area. I discovered the youtube videos a long while ago, but have only recently joined goodreads, so here I finally am. :) I'm a lurker most of the time, but I do love me some paranormal romance (if Kresley Cole writes something, I will devour it), and I'm a big fan of Felicia Day and the other ladies who fight to contribute so much happen-to-have-a-vagina awesomeness to male-dominated nerd-dom. So I may venture out of my hermit cave a bit to find some new books and join some discussions! :)
Hi! I'm Jenny from Finland :D I'm a huge fan of Felicia Day and I've been watching the Vaginal Fantasy hangouts for maybe six months now and I love them so I figured I should probably say hi here too instead of just lurking, so.. Hi! I have always liked romance books but I haven't been able to find that many good paranormal romance things before (probably me being too lazy to search) so now I'm just reading all the interesting ones I can find. :D I have read some of the books that have been discussed in the hangouts and I'm looking forward to finding more new books to read!

hey jenny. welcome. :)Sherrilyn Kenyon has some good ones in the league and dark hunter series. I also checked out a fairy fantasy romance on wattpad that was pretty good called Nahtaia: A Faery's Tale.

Hi, I'm Sandy from southern Illinois. I love to read (when I have time) and I really love the Vag Fan ladies and the videos. Keep up the great work all.
I am an old creepy bearded guy. I like books. I have been working on my writing style. I found humility in my failure but I keep at it. I just keep saying to myself that "there is plenty of awful books out there and I just need one crackpot lunatic in the right place to like my writing." I failz at grammar. I am getting better everyday and I find myself digging through my old school books in attempt to fix the problem. I am a lil bit crazy. I have really vivid nightmares that I draw from for inspiration. I am not sure I want a spirit in me. I was hoping we could just be friends. I read a lot of non fiction tech manuals. Books that make Ben Stein look like Weird al. I am expanding my mind by reading out of my genre. I think this book club is super fun and I hope to meet some of you on or offline. I live in FL. We have a cool nerd culture here. It is a bit small and obscure. I think we have a 1 to 27 geek to redneck ratio. Not that I have a problem with my country friends. They don't meet my nerdy needs so I run to the internet hair flowing stray with out a smidge of wind to meet and greet similarly interesting people. I still have 10k characters left but I have things to do so I will bid you adieu.

Hey all! I'm Kim and I have recently emerged from a long dark winter of the soul and realized that it's been a long time since I was doing a lot of book reading, which I love, and almost as long since I was doing a lot of writing, which my brain is constantly trying to do without me but which I only successfully do when I'm also reading. I guess reading what other people write inspires me to do more writing of my own, instead of just coming up with story idea after story idea!So I joined Goodreads and a bunch of reading groups to try to keep myself accountable. I'm looking forward to joining you all for the August read!
Fantasy has been my jam since I was a tot and my mother handed me Dragonsdawn by Anne McCaffrey - probably without thinking fully about the content of the book... Lately I've been addicted to paranormal romances, especially the ones by Christine Feehan. I tore through the entire 25-book Dark Carpathian series in less than a month. Don't judge! :)
I've recently arrived in the Delaware area, so hey, anyone else from that general vicinity!

I'm also a writer and a Christine Feehan fan. I was hooked on her writing from the description of "Magic in the Wind."
Hello, I'm Grace and I'm from Florida. I've enjoyed fantasy and sci-fi books since childhood and I'm a fan of Geek and Sundry. I just finished reading the Malazan Book of the Fallen series (which is amazing) and I figured this group would be a good way to read more of the genres I love while getting into romance as well.
Hey all! I'm Amy from Orlando, FL. I starting watching VF last year, and starting reading the forum a few months ago. I haven't been able to read as much as I'd like in the last couple years. Usually I gravitate towards Fantasy and Sci-Fi. I also like Paranormal Romance. I watch Games of Throne, Walking Dead, Sherlock, Big Band Theory. I own a lot of varied movies. I love to cook. I also love Halloween and I'm always thinking of my next costume.
I hope to become a little more interactive in this forum.
Hi everyone, I'm Catherine! I'm 27 years old and I live in Delaware. I've been watching Vaginal Fantasy sessions on YouTube for a long time, but this will be my first time participating. I'm a slow reader, so I hope I can finish this month's pick on time. My favorite genre is fantasy, and I usually go for fiction, but I'm known to enjoy a good business book here and there (yes, I actually read business books for pleasure, as embarrassing as that is to admit lol).
Like many people here, I'm a fan of Firefly/Buffy/anything from Joss Whedon in general.
Hi guys!I'm Elsa, from the Netherlands. I'm an artist (working on games, animation and nowadays mostly on my fantasy webcomic Spindrift (in which I'm making a point of adequately representing the female half of the population 8D).
Other than art and reading novels, I like comics, snowboarding, gaming and cats (crazy cat lady!).
I've been listening to the group hangouts a lot while drawing, so I figured I should check out this group too :D.
So em, hi! *tips hat*

Welcome, Nemi. I'm new here, too. I have to share that I'm writing a short story for a competition right now and one of my lead characters is named Nemi. Also, I love my Kindle, too.
