Write a Paragraph

I was willing to go across the country, so the day I saw his name on that return adress stamp, I nearly melter to the floor. Inside was a plane ticket, it was all I needed. Within an hour, I'd fled the house. He was my escape from my old, horrendous life.
It was early morning the next day when I saw him, and instantly knew, I had made the right descion. I loved him, now, I had to make sure he felt the same.

The guy probably never knew what hit him. But for the record, it was me.

OMG!!! *gets chills* I'M SO EXCITED SELLAAAA

Alicia reached out, closing her hand over mine. She looked at me, with her serious, blue eyes. “I know you’re not my brother,” she said, although I could tell the words pained her. “It’s hard to accept that. But I’m trying. And so far, I still trust you.”
I found that I couldn’t look away from her; I was fascinated by her innocence, by her faith in me. I could tell that she had spoken the truth: she really did trust me, even though I wasn’t her brother. The realization made me feel strangely euphoric.
I felt a flicker of a smile at the corner of my mouth. “You mean it?” I said, my voice croaking a little. “You really trust me – even though I’m a crazy, superhuman freak?”
Alicia gave a small smile in return. “Hey, don’t talk about yourself like that,” she scolded me. “You’re my friend, Max. I love you just the way you are.”

Night is my protector, my blanket of darkness shielding me from the cruel light of the sun. Small points of light in the dark are my points of reason, the spotlight of the moon a gentle one, more gentle then it’s daytime twin.
Night is my protector, and it’s also my prison.

oh btw, do you think it should be called the "vampire hunter trilogy"? or just the hunted trilogy?

“You understand Alicia, too,” Evin added. “You understand how she feels everything more than everyone else does, how everything is harder for her.”
“Yeah, but …”
“And me,” Evin said, interrupting. “You understand me, too.”
I was shocked into silence. Then I managed to say, “You?” I sounded like I was choking on the word. “What do you mean?”
She swallowed, as if she were suddenly nervous. But she couldn’t have been. I mean: Evin? Nervous? Right.
“What you said, like, a few minutes ago,” she said.
“Which was what?”
“About how I have to act brave, in front of everyone else.”
Her eyes stayed level with mine now, her expression serious. She really wasn’t kidding about this, I realized.
“I don’t mean this to sound conceited or anything,” she went on. “But it’s hard, being me. I have to try so hard to take care of the other guys.” She rolled her eyes. “I mean, sometimes I feel like I’m the only sane one around here.”
When I only stared at her, she added, “It’s not like the others are dumb or anything. They just can’t take care of themselves. None of them have the leadership skills that I do, so what can I do? I have to watch over all of them, make sure we stick together and that we don’t die.”
She took a deep breath.
“So, if I’m going to be the leader, I have to give them something to look up to. Their lives depend on me. So if I freak out, they freak out. If I lose hope, so do they. If I die …” Evin trailed off, as if the concept were too horrible to even consider.
She shook her head. “It’s almost impossible sometimes,” she admitted. “There are times when I just want to scream or cry or … worse.” She winced. “But I can’t. I can’t show them any sign of weakness.”
Her tone had gone bitter, but now it softened again. “But you … You’re different, somehow. I don’t know. But you understand that, how I can’t always be brave. I can’t always be strong.”

That fact makes it better. It means he speaks to me because of my personality, sadly, I won't ever find a man like this in reality, only in my love letters.
(Random, can you tell I''m happy this week? I am, let's all be happy.)

I almost said something – what it was, I can’t remember. Too much happened after that moment for me to recall such a detail. Only, as I was about to speak, Lindsay suddenly looked up. But she wasn’t looking at me; instead, her gaze wandered past my head, and out the window behind me.
She froze.
“Caleb?”
I was afraid to turn around, to see what she was looking at with such terror. I had a good guess. “Yeah?” I croaked.
“How soon would you be ready to start our whole save-the-world mission?”
I swallowed. “How soon did you have in mind?”
She hesitated, as she continue to stare at whatever horror lay behind me.
“I was thinking … right now.”

:D
"I don't care!" He shouted, then slammed the door.
Here I was, alone again. This time abandoned by a teenage boy. It felt somewhat like Prom.

"How are we going to tell her?" the man's voice was in a hushed whisper, his eyes probing his friend's for answers.
"I don't know.." the other said, his voice sounding choked; as if he had cried recently and was trying to hide it.
A quiet smacking sound was heard followed by a low moan.
"Come on! I need something to work with!" the first one said, his jaw clenched.
"Please...Jeb...I don't know," the boy said quietly, more tears spilling from his wide blue eyes.
Jebediah sighed and ran a hand through his silver hair in frustration, starting to pace. His footsteps sounding like a cat's, treading carefully over the marble floor. He clicked his tongue, as he often did whenever he thought.
"Jeb, wouldn't it be better if we didn't tell her?" the boy on the floor asked, sitting up weakly and resting against the pale yellow wall.
"Tell me what?" a silky female voice asked, stepping through the glass door and turning on the light.
Then everything became silent.

Okay, thanks you guys! :D
Hmm...do you think that maybe the "2197 trilogy" sounds better?

Actually, no ^^;;

Strange things are happening.
People are dropping dead without any apparent reason. The government is catching illegal organizations which had always managed to stay hidden before. The secrets of citizens are suddenly being revealed to the authorities. Phone calls, text messages, and emails are starting to become closely watched.
The beginning of something sinister is at work.
Jayelinn Evans and her friends - five average high school sophomores with pretty normal lives – are far away from the crazy things that are occurring. That is, until one afternoon they stumble across one of the bodies on the way back from school - and suddenly find themselves tangled up in something bigger and more dangerous than they can comprehend.

She looks into the miror. The lyrics are etched into her skin now. A pretty, black, cursive font. The only reminder of him, while he is gone. She so despretly wants to see him, right next to her. He is gone for now, and yet, like the good man he is, everynight, there is a call.
The only thing she needs to stay by him.

Wow that's really good! :D

(do not get offended if Anne or Carrie is your name, they're names that came to my mind first)

I kept on muttering such things, for a long time. It didn’t help, but I hadn’t really expected it to. I had figured, though, that it was worth a try.
But no. I was stuck here, lost in silence, surrounded by destruction. I could only depend on the strange, bodiless voice that kept talking to me. In fact, it was talking to me right now.
“Have you calmed down yet?” The question wasn’t impatient, only asking for a simple answer.
“I told you to leave me alone.” I meant for the words to come out angry and intimidating; instead, it sounded like a pathetic whimper.
“We can’t do that,” the voice said. “If we left you alone, you would be totally lost. You wouldn’t know where to go, or what to do, and you’d get yourself killed. We can’t let that happen, Maxwell. We need you.”
I winced, as the voice’s words repeated themselves in my head. What did this all mean?
I didn’t know. I didn’t even know how to begin asking all the questions I had. All I could do was compress them all into one simple word: “Why?”
“Because we made you what you are,” the voice explained. “You have a destiny to fulfill; you play a crucial role in the future of our world. If you do as we say, then you might be able to help us restore this world to what it used to be.”

"Damnit" I mutter, still waving the smoke away, and turning on the fan. "I can't do anything right." Sean comes into the room, yelping.
"Are you ok." He says. I shake my head and wave him a way. I take out the Chicken, now its pathetic looking, charcol in a pan. I sigh and throw the oven mitts aside.
I walk to the freezer, and rip open a microwave meal.
Yet another dinner scene, in my average, pathetic little life.
