that part was cool :D

And then I saw her.
She was standing on the curb, her posture straight, tasting the air. I could see some remaining blood on her chin, but her fangs weren't out- she must have pulled them back already. She was wearing a simple strapless red dress, which emphasized how white-ghostly pale she was. She was extremely tall, much taller than me- and I was pretty tall for my age. With her height, she looked in her mid-twenties; but her facial features made her look younger, perhaps around my age.
She was insanely beautiful, much more than she had been in the picture. It was a disturbing, creepy kind of beauty; but I could still not look away, even more than when I had stared at her picture. Her hair was black, with curly ringlets that fell down to her shoulders. Her expression was wild, but at the same time fierce, and there was also something mysterious about it.
And her creepy, bright crimson eyes were staring right at me.
I swallowed, but for some reason I wasn't scared. I felt a bit light-headed, for some reason, my breath was caught, and my heart was skipping beats, but I didn't feel fear. All I knew was that it was time, and finally the opportunity to kill my first vampire had arrived. I stepped forward, right in front of her- which was dangerous, if I didn't end her life fast. I put a hand on my invisible sword sheath, but for some reason I didn't take it out yet. I felt like I should wait for something.
She didn't move, either. She just stared at me, her gaze curious yet wild at the same time. I wondered if she was going to attack, to regrow her fangs and strike at me, like way she must have done to the human corpse now lying behind us. Was I her next meal?
Neither of us spoke, or moved an inch- we both just kept up the staring contest, as if daring the other to attack. Seconds passed, but still nothing happened...
I felt the magic gathering under my palms, waiting to be released. I was about to forget the strange thing that was going on and pull out my sword, when she surprised me by moving first, by breaking the contest before I could.
In a movement so quick I could barely see it, she wiped the blood away from her chin, and then held out her hand to shake. “Hello, it's quite nice to meet you,” she trilled quietly, her voice the sound of a flat music note. Her tone was friendly, conversational, with no indication that she wanted to kill me. “I'm Sylfaen. What's your name?”

Oh sorry, it's because I fixed something in the paragraph, deleted it, and re-posted it. Lol...

Lol thanks =D

"Where are you going?" he asked slightly disappointed that I wasn't going to spend time with him.
"Uh, I'll be right back. I need a drink from the popcorn."
((I know, my writing sucks compared to everyone else's. So that means you guys need to post more so that I can read more from everyone, and learn more.))

Aww that's sweet! :D You're a good writer Anuhea! :D

The movie finished and I walked to my bedroom with my brother at my heels. I flopped onto my bed and looked at him uncertain of why he had come to my room. It was rare that he would bother to even talk to me. Usually it was always his soccer friends. He sat on the edge of my brown bed and looked at me. I swallowed and stared at him. There was a moment of silence at first, and then he broke it.
"I remember when you were little. You would beg mom and dad to let you sleep in my room. Then things changed all of sudden." Michael whispered.
"Yeah, I would sleep in your room and talk to you. You would get so annoyed and make me shut up. Eventually you'd let me listen to your iPod, and then I'd fall asleep before you did. Then one day you got overly obsessed with soccer. It was as if you had forgotten I existed." I replied thickly.
Tears pooled in my eyes and I looked away, not wanting to show him how much I missed him. I was supposed to be the brave and outgoing one in our family.
"That's not how it was Baylie. I just got--." he broke off and lied down beside me.
My head now rested on my soft wrinkled brown pillow. I closed my eyes and let the tears roll down my cheeks. I hadn't realized all these years how much I really missed my older brother.

Oh! So sad! :( But so good! :D
Btw, I just realized. In message 219, you wrote "I need a drink from the popcorn." Which doesn't really make sense. lol

I grabbed them in my hands, I let them fall to the ground, I cried over them. I left the pile on the ground. I'd waited the entire year, suffered through the difficult classes, skipped the partys to write letters. Now I was alone, for three months. I kicked the pile, weeping. I ran out of my room, speeding down the stairs. My eyes were misting, and I ran down the block.

The new sex position that works every time was written in large letters as one of the headlines. Ew much! I flipped it over so that the magazine had a picture of gold shoes. I wasn't going to do my math homework while looking at bright orange letters talking about sex. It reminded me of my mother who tried to have the sex talk with my friends and now they don't come over to my house (as if having the sex talk with you're own parent's isn't bad enough!)

“Who are you?” she asked, hoarsely.
I hadn’t been anticipating that. “What?”
“I said, who are you?” she repeated, her voice rising.
I blinked, feeling uncertain. “Maxwell,” I answered. “Maxwell Collins.”
What happened next went by so fast, I didn’t even realize it had occurred until a second afterwards: She hit me, actually slapped me. The sound rang out, making everyone jump. Then they all gaped at her in horrified surprise, as my mind reeled to understand why my face was suddenly stinging. The pain faded quickly, but the shock remained.
I stared at her, struggling for something to say, something like “What the hell was that for?” But I said nothing.
Evin herself looked like she couldn’t believe what she had done. Now her hands were in fists at her sides, and her eyes blazed with unexpected rage. “You’re lying,” she snarled, her voice almost breaking. I saw, now, that she was trying not to cry. “You’re lying, you goddamn …” She trailed off, apparently unable to come up with an insult bad enough to describe what she thought of me.
“I don’t … understand,” I said weakly.
“You are not Max.” She enunciated every word, her voice saturated with a dangerous venom. It made my spine tingle. “It’s not possible.”
I frowned, feeling more confused than ever. “Could you tell me why not?”
She took a deep breath, and let it out in a shaky sigh. “You can’t be,” she said, with a sudden, eerie calmness, “because Max is dead.”

It means that she was eating the buttery/salty popcorn and needed a drink of water. Oh well, it makes sense to me.

"Why I'm as you put it-" she pressed a button.
A computerized voice said "An Evil Dude's"
" secretary dear," the woman said hussling about and fiddling with papers. "He'll see you in a minute"
"Does he want to kill me"
The woman pressed her button again and it said "duh" robotically.
"Why?"
She pushed her button again.
The robotic voice gave it's best hippy impersonation "Because you are awesome and powerful and cool man"
"Who's got a match?" he asked glancing around the room. "Does anyone have a match?" Blank stares greeted his eager face as he scanned the crowd.
He continued on, "Fine. Does anyone have something that can make fire?"
One hand went up, and the man pointed to the figure in the back. "Yes, well, make your way up here." The figure slowly made her way through the crowd, and as she walked up to the man who needed the fire, she smiled faintly and waited for instructions.
The man stared at the girl dumbstruck, she was . . . what? Fourteen, Fifteen? But he pressed the thought out of his mind. "Now, where is the the item that can make fire?"
The girl held up her finger.
"Where is it child?"
She heaved a sigh, and rolled her eyes. In the amount of seconds, fire had escaped from her fingertip and was now portruding from it.
Silence envelopped the crowd as they all stared at the child magician creating fire from her fingertips.

“What is?”
“That you’re here,” Alicia said. “That you’re real.” She paused in hesitation. “I mean, you look exactly like him,” she murmured. “Sometimes, when you talk, you sound like him, too. But you’re not quite … him.”
I felt something crumbling inside of me, as I suddenly understood, but I didn’t say anything.
Alicia let out a shuddering sigh. “It’s weird, because I’ve spent an entire year thinking Max was dead. And I missed him so much … I kept wishing that, somehow, he could come back.” She blinked more tears out of her eyes; this time she didn’t stop to brush them away. “And now it’s like he has come back. I mean, you came back.”
She took a deep breath, and shook her head. “But it’s not the way I would have imagined it. I don’t know what I’m supposed to think.”

He continued on, "Fine. Does anyone have something ..."
So cool! :D

I loved that part!!! So intense ^_^

“Just listen.” There was a lump in my throat. “I've just recently realized...you see...I...” I stopped beating around the bush and plunged straight with the dagger. “I'm in love you with, Liam.”
His expression froze. All he could do was stare at me with shock and bewilderment. “You...what did you just say?” he whispered, his eyes huge.
“Are you really going to make me repeat it, Liam?” I groaned. “You know what I said.”
I couldn't read his eyes when the shock wore off. I didn't know what he was thinking. “Jade...” Now I could detect something; uncertainty on his face. And something else. But what?
“Take it or leave it,” I muttered to myself bitterly. Then, without knowing why, I added, “I'm sorry.” What was I apologizing for? For hosting feelings I shouldn't of him? For thinking of him more than a friend? For completely traumatizing our friendship? Yeah, that could be it.
“Jade, I...” He hesitated. My heart leaped.
What was he feeling, thinking? What was he going to say? Was it possible that he liked me in that way too? Was this going to turn into a Disney fairy-tale ending, and Liam would admit that he loved me too, and then we would kiss, like it always happens in books? My hopes soared.
What the hell was I thinking?
“I think I understand what you're feeling...” He stumbled over the words timidly.
My heart hammered against my chest. He was going to tell me he felt the same way! He was going to tell me he'd always loved me too! It was going to be Disney after all!
“...but I don't feel the same way about you,” he finished firmly.
I need to write something . . . at least a hundred words before I go to bed . . .
Rubix cubes drive me insane. When the stickers begin to peel in your hands as you twist and turn the corners around to try and get the same colored sticker on the same side. I can hear the spring as I twist the many sides, which almost makes me believe that it will just fall apart one day.

KABOOM.
KABOOOOOM.
KABOOOOOOOOOOM!
Something was changing around here. They didn't know what it was, but something was definitely changing. It could be some sort of fantasical/fantasized ((don't even know if that's a word . . .)) Giants stomping around, or the earth was about to explode from "Global Warming". Whichever it was, I hoped I was safe . . . Because you know, when you're running from something that you aren't supposed to do, and something that didn't exist, you'd start to believe in the Giants stomping around in the mountains.

The dog writhed on the ground. It sueled in pain. I walked down the steps, the toddler was crying, her hair stick out randomly. The older boys looked heartbroken. Their mother came toward me in a messy housedress.
"What have you done." She hollered running across the street. She scopped the toddler up, sheilding her eyes.
"Mam, you see, the dog came running out from behind the curb. I tried to swerve and stop, but the kid was there. I.." I stuttered a moment. "I couldn't control it." I could see the dogs breath calming down. My car was abanodonned in the street.
The mother looked at the dog, then the two boys. "Run and get a towell." She yells, they scatter off. She looks at me. "We're using your car." She says. I take my keys from my pocket.
The kids come back, and the mother wraps the dog. I lift him into the truck and drive as she hollers directions, I allow the kids to sit in the trunk of the truck with the squirming dog.
