What are you reading right now?
I am just about done with Stieg Larsson's The Girl Who Played With Fire. After this I am planning to start The Hobbit and Look Both Ways: Bisexual Politics
I just finished Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, And Transgender Myths From The Arapaho To The Zuñi: An Anthology and am now working on Paper Cities: An Anthology of Urban Fantasy, Changing Ones: Third and Fourth Genders in Native North America, Pride and Prejudice, Two-Spirit People: Native American Gender Identity, Sexuality, and Spirituality, and Greek Religion. My currently reading list is usually massive like this. I tend to pick up books, read a bit, put them down, and then pick up another and read some more. I get distracted easily.

I know the feeling too. Seven books under "currently reading" and another 14 under "dipping-in-and-out-of".

Well, I'm one of those people who can only have one book going at a time. I'm sometimes in awe of the people who can keep multiple books going at once.That said, I'm reading A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin and loving it. I'm in the middle of a A Song of Ice and Fire Series marathon. Once I start a series I have to read all the books back to back. The only drawback with that is reading that final book and being forced to wait for the next installment.

Before that I was reading Sherlock Holmes.
I got hooked on reading Bulgakov when I read Master and Margarita at Christmastime: magic.
Pam and Ruby, I'm about 3/4 through The Psychopath Test: A Journey Through the Madness Industry and really enjoying it. It's very readable, interesting and the author throws in a funny one-liner every now & again. I get the idea that identifying a psychopath isn't all that easy. They learn to fit in by mimicking our feelings, despite not feeling them themselves. I haven't read any Wodehouse books but he's on the TBR list. I should remedy that soon. Jeeves sounds like an entertaining series.

Looking forward to it. My partner read The Men Who Stare at Goats and loved it, but I think this topic appeals to me more. Bwahahaha.... :)
Okay, I finished We Need to Talk About Kevin and despite a slow start, I ended up loving it. Review here, for those of you who expressed interest. I really want to see the movie now, but I already checked and cablevision doesn't have it on demand. I might have to *gasp!* go to Blockbuster.

Do it. It's totally worth dealing with Blockbuster for. From your review (which was great, BTW) it seems that the film & book are different enough to make it worthwhile doing both.

How are you liking it? Everyone I know loved it but I wasn't really a fan.
I'm currently reading Brave New World. It's actually quite interesting although the first chapter was quite difficult to get through and the language that Huxley uses is sometimes hard to understand. Once I finish this book, I'm going to either start The Lincoln Lawyer or Memoirs of a Geisha. (:

Ummm.. Can't say really. It's a fun read but not a great one, put it that way ! Reading The Hobbit with it !! So my review can be biased u see !! :)
I've got a three hour drive ahead of me today, so I'm planning on starting The Vanishing of Katharina Linden on audio.
Right now I am working on Red, White, and Blood for my train reading, and Monster of Venice at home.

Just re-read Tolstoy short stories. As always, brilliant. But I did just read an incredible indie novel, Apart From Love, by Uvi Poznansky. check it out.
I'm currently munching on The Wind Through the Keyhole: A Dark Tower Novel happily and The Catcher in the Rye not so happily... What I SHOULD be reading Molecular Biology of the Cell :/

haha i'm studying the same thing! xD irony lol its rediculous that to get your GED you have to learn about not only the nucleus but the nucleolus pfft when and im i EVER going to need to know these things?!!

I'm reading 'Before I Go To Sleep'. My mother read it for her book club and I was looking for something quick and entertaining after battling my way through 'Alias Grace' by Margaret Attwood (a brilliant book, but very heavy-going.)
I just finished Bringing Up Bébé: One American Mother Discovers the Wisdom of French Parenting and though I did not espouse to all of the parenting ideas found it a refreshing perspective to parenting in general. I am now reading Restoration; I have a gravitational pull towards WWII historical fiction but am not finding this one to be a real page turner. One of the reasons I joined this group was to branch out of my reading box a bit and try new genre's and authors I may not have otherwise considered.

I'm currently reading: Never Let Me Go I started yesterday but up to now I'm not really into it. I'll read some more pages and give it some other shot but I'm not convinced... Anyone read it? Is the book more interesting than the first few pages?

Did you see the synopsis? The first line reads, "Two thinks happened on different sides of the galaxy the other day."
If that's a typo, it's pretty bad!

Pam, I finally finished this book (long work week) and enjoyed every page. I would recommend it. It's easy to read, humorous and an interesting look at how Society (or the psychiatric professionals) look at madness.
I've now started Hunger, which has started out in an interesting but odd way. Very manic-depressive.
I'm working my way through The Kite Runner for school, but it truly is fascinating. However, I am getting started on Victory of Eagles, which I am definitely excited to be reading!
I'm currently reading Eugene Onegin, Doctor Zhivago, At Swim, Two Boys, The Fear: The Last Days Of Robert Mugabe and as I don't feel well I wanted some easy read and choose A World Without Heroes

Let us know what you think of The Psychopath Test: A Journey Through the Madness Industry. I bought it a few months ago, and it looks fascinating. I just have trouble pushing myself to read non-fiction right now.
I took some non-Mieville time last night to get into Baxter Mariah. It's really intriguing. It has a kind of Mad Max/The Cars That Ate Paris/post-apocalyptic-State-of-Origin vibe. Now there's a sentence I've never used before.
