Hayley, if you're looking for another YA series, I highly recommend Rachel Caine's Morganville Vampires, starting with [b:..."

I hear you Shanon on the cliff-hanger endings. Kills me! But in that fiending for a fix kinda' way! Not too long to wait now!

HA! I've read all that are out. I can't believe I didn't double check that number!

(Peer pressure at work.)

I also just picked up Ann Aguirre's next Jax novel Wanderlust.

Am very excited for it's arrival.
Shall keep ya posted on my verdict!

I have the whole Sookie Stackhouse series that I'm jumping into next, as well.
Anyone read the Odd Thomas series? I listened to the first one and really liked it.

I looked through the selection briefly and I don't think you missed anything.

Not this genre, but has anyone ever read a Maisie Dobbs mystery? That was one I contemplated buying.

Ive read Odd Thomas and I really liked it. I haven't heard about a new one coming out anytime soon though. The last one kinda had an ending I'm curious about.
Have you read any of Koontz's other works? He's pretty good, very reminiscent of Stephen King in my opinion but not quite as creepy lol.

Ooh... I hope you like it. I warn you though that each book immediately leads into the next, so if you do like it, you'll have to go out and immediately buy them all! ;)

Today I'm making a start on La Vida Vampire, as a change from the shifters. The feedback on this one has been quite positive, so I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah, at 600 odd pages I figured it would take me a few days to get through, but happily my husband was content to sit in front of his Xbox all day Sunday so I spent the day reading. It was an oddly quick read for its size, I think because it has that quality that makes it difficult to put down.
But yes, Faythe certainly doesn't have it easy as a female. I think she's going to change things up though. Oh, and rather than being horrified by Marc as some others were, I thought he was a yummy alpha male.

You have to pick up Pack Challenge, Go Fetch and Here Kitty Kitty by Shelley Laurenston. Her shifter books are steamy and funny rolled into one. I recomended getting all three because once you finish the first you're going to need the next. I think Conall and Micki's story was the best(Go Fetch!)

Jael==I've already read all of Shelly Laurenston's books including her dragon series. Love them. I think you should check out her Pride books if you get a chance. "The Beast in Him" is fantastic.
Jess==I've read the Kitty Norville series as well. She is so spunky and down to earth you gotta love her. Thanks for the reccomendation.

LOL!

I finally started on Rush of Wings. I'm only one chapter in, so not idea how it will be, but Im hopeful.
Re-reading City of Glass because I've run out of books. It's no great hardship--COG is wunnerful. One of my favourite HEAs to date, I think.
