I've been a Kristan Higgins fan since the beginning. She has 6 books, altogether, I think. The past 2 books have been omniscient voice, not first person, as her first books were. I liked the first person for a romance. It was refreshing, and I thought she was unique. These past two have been "meh" for me. I gave it 4 stars, but it's more like a 3.8 or 3.9.

What can I say? Even a fabulous author has a miss, and this was a BIG one, IMHO. Took me over a week to read it, because I just STRUGGLED!! I will continue to read Suzanne Enoch's books, because she is a fun and witty author, but wow, this was painful...
