I finished Show No Mercy yesterday on my lunch hour and I will definitely be reading more of Gerard's books. I'm debating whether to go and read The Bodyguard series first, since so many of those characters made an appearance in this book. Have you read the other series?

NayNay Tourist Appreciation Day, May 6 ~ Oh so many places I'd like to travel too.... but I loved both of these books and would love to someday go to both Scotland and Ireland Beyond the Highland Mist or Bloodfever #2 in the series or #3 Faefever as I couldn't tell if you've read book 2 or not

Just finished a third book from my list Bloodfever by Karen Marie Moning
Thanx Melissa I enjoyed it.

Alyssa (jynx66) | 52 comments I just finished Slave to Sensation (Psy-Changeling #1) by Nalini Singh a few minutes ago.
I didn't love or really like the second book in this series, which was the first one I read, silly me. So because of it, I kept putting this series off more and more. I finally got challenged this book, so I figured I'd give it shot.
Glad to say I really enjoyed it. It was better and more captivating. Very happy I read it. :)

I finished Hush, Hush (Hush, Hush, #1) by Becca Fitzpatrick last night. I did a buddy read with Kami.

I thought it was a strange book, but a quick read. Thanks for helping me get it off my TBR list.

Lala | 169 comments Awaken Me Darkly (Alien Huntress, #1) by Gena Showalter ***** 10.05

This was one catchy story with aliens who live on earth. Some of them are good, but others not so much. Thats where it gets interesting, there is human body left behind by alien and its Mia Snow's job to find who did it. Its getting even better when Kyrin en Arr will come in the investigation. First as a suspect, later Mia's firend and lover. Together they start fighting against the bad guys. Before that they fight with each other :)

Kate, I just read Truly, Madly and really enjoyed it--it's a fun, light paranormal mystery with some nice romance. I have the next two in the series on order at the library. Thanks for the great pick! I may read another one, too, we'll see how it goes.

Wasn't into it at first (reminded too much of Uglies) but the book slowly picked up and Lauren Oliver writes beautifully. Ended up giving 4 stars but I guess, no dystopia for anytime soon now.

Hey Susan,

I'm sorry I just saw this post! I expected this book to have a "dreamier" quality to it because of the title. The book alternates between present day and Hitler's Germany and traces the art that was rescued from destruction during the war. I'm always sucked in by stories including art history!

I am good to start whenever. It takes me longer during the week bc of my job. When would be good for you to start? Also, could u message my page. My husband uses the computer most days for school so I only am able to get on once in a while, but if I get an email/message on my page I see it on my phone. That way I can respond quickly =)

Jojo | 1010 comments Ruth Ann,
I read a second and a third rec this weekend.

Space Junque, it was a kindle freebie that had been sitting in my TBR for over 6 months, but it was totally worth the read and I have now downloaded the second 2 books in the series.

Titanic Affair was another freebie (I can't resist them) it was another good read. It started slowly but soon picked up and was very enjoyable.

Thanks for the recs.

Iris (ipro) | 277 comments I finished three of my picks...
Happy Hour at Casa Dracula - It was ok. I found the heroine on the humorous side, but once I was done with reading it I honestly couldn't describe any truly outstanding parts.
Lover Awakened - The Brotherhood just gets better and better. Zsadist is by far my favorite Brother to date!
Remedial Magic - Quick read. Not sure if I want to actually read the whole series.
