2012 May Pick It For Me! Challenge
AnaI finished Show No Mercy yesterday on my lunch hour and I will definitely be reading more of Gerard's books. I'm debating whether to go and read The Bodyguard series first, since so many of those characters made an appearance in this book. Have you read the other series?
Just wanted to let everyone know that Jennifer Bernard is joining us today through Thursday at the Ask An Author Corner. Please stop by and ask a question, you may win a copy of her latest release The Fireman Who Loved Me

i really liked that series. Marliss Melton has a similar style with the seal team 12 aweiwa.
Tourist Appreciation Day, May 6 ~ Oh so many places I'd like to travel too.... but I loved both of these books and would love to someday go to both Scotland and Ireland Beyond the Highland Mist or Bloodfever #2 in the series or #3 Faefever as I couldn't tell if you've read book 2 or notJust finished a third book from my list Bloodfever by Karen Marie Moning
Thanx Melissa I enjoyed it.

I just got Moonlight Warrior from the library so let me know when you are ready to start.
Hey Mandy!
I finished reading Agnes and the Hitman. It was a lot of fun! I was a little confused at the ending though...like who killed Shane's parents really?

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I liked that one too. You are lucky, you still have several to read. I'm waiting for the most recent one to come out in audio....

Sounds good
Hi Guys, I have written a story, I hope to hear your comments and will be very happy if there is anything to correct it.Its basically a true story

I just finished
a few minutes ago.I didn't love or really like the second book in this series, which was the first one I read, silly me. So because of it, I kept putting this series off more and more. I finally got challenged this book, so I figured I'd give it shot.
Glad to say I really enjoyed it. It was better and more captivating. Very happy I read it. :)
Hi Pat!I finished
last night. I did a buddy read with Kami.I thought it was a strange book, but a quick read. Thanks for helping me get it off my TBR list.

glad you didn't hate it and it feels great to get things out of TBR country doesn't it?
***** 10.05This was one catchy story with aliens who live on earth. Some of them are good, but others not so much. Thats where it gets interesting, there is human body left behind by alien and its Mia Snow's job to find who did it. Its getting even better when Kyrin en Arr will come in the investigation. First as a suspect, later Mia's firend and lover. Together they start fighting against the bad guys. Before that they fight with each other :)
Laura,I finished The Body Finder, it was pretty good! I think I will try to read the series!
Thanks again for the picks!

Just in case you're debating giving it another go, book 3 is one of my favorites from the series. I LOVE Judd.

Kate, I just read Truly, Madly and really enjoyed it--it's a fun, light paranormal mystery with some nice romance. I have the next two in the series on order at the library. Thanks for the great pick! I may read another one, too, we'll see how it goes.
Finished
couple of days ago.Wasn't into it at first (reminded too much of Uglies) but the book slowly picked up and Lauren Oliver writes beautifully. Ended up giving 4 stars but I guess, no dystopia for anytime soon now.
Susan (susayq) wrote: "Roxy, the book you're reading right now,
sounds interesting. How is it?"Hey Susan,
I'm sorry I just saw this post! I expected this book to have a "dreamier" quality to it because of the title. The book alternates between present day and Hitler's Germany and traces the art that was rescued from destruction during the war. I'm always sucked in by stories including art history!
I finished my second book, a buddy read of Stranger in My Arms with ~KarenH~ late, late last night - or really early, early this morning! I liked it a lot, kept me guessing all the way through. Thanks for reading with me Karen!
Irina wrote: "i finished my BR The Darkest Night and i really enjoyed i will be reading more of the series"I'm glad you liked the book. Covers are bad either!

I am good to start whenever. It takes me longer during the week bc of my job. When would be good for you to start? Also, could u message my page. My husband uses the computer most days for school so I only am able to get on once in a while, but if I get an email/message on my page I see it on my phone. That way I can respond quickly =)
Brett wrote: "Finished my second book Marked, and I loved it! Such a good story."I'm so glad that you liked it! I need to read the second one. I see that you started it. Let me know how it goes. I might need to reread the first one! It has been awhile.

I will for sure let you know!
I finished my second pick, Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie. I liked it, but didn't love it - it was cute and funny but nothing special for me. Thanks for the recommendation, Lady Allison, and for giving me the nudge to finally get it off my TBR!
I finished my first pick pride and prejudice by jane austine, i really liked the book. 5 stars.. I will be doing my next pick if i get time... thanks carla
Finished my buddy read w/ Sue of Moonlight Warrior it was a good start to the series. 4/5 stars Want to read William's book and see what happens with Mabel.....
Just finished The Bride by Julie Garwood. This was a re read for me but I love Julie Garwood and this is such a good read.
Melissa wrote: "Finished my buddy read w/ Sue of Moonlight Warrior it was a good start to the series. 4/5 stars Want to read William's book and see what happens with Mabel....."I just finished "Moonlight Warrior" as well last night! Same rating, 4 out of 5. I was going to read it slowly over the next week, but I wanted to find out what happened, so I stayed up and finished it last night!

Glad you liked it too. I had a hard time putting it down...
Ruth Ann,I read a second and a third rec this weekend.
Space Junque, it was a kindle freebie that had been sitting in my TBR for over 6 months, but it was totally worth the read and I have now downloaded the second 2 books in the series.
Titanic Affair was another freebie (I can't resist them) it was another good read. It started slowly but soon picked up and was very enjoyable.
Thanks for the recs.
I finished
. I give it a 3 stars. It was a good adventure story but the love story wasn't belivable. Not bad but not great. Still a fun easy read!

I have Too Hot to Touch. I started reading a little of it. If you still want to buddy read it let me know :)
I finished my third pick, Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs today. I enjoyed it, but not as much as Molly Harper's Naked Werewolf books. I did like it enough that I'm sure I'll continue the series though. Thanks for the great recommendations this month, Lady Allison!

Jojo- I am glad you liked the books. Do you want to do the buddy read soon? Let me know.
I finished three of my picks... Happy Hour at Casa Dracula - It was ok. I found the heroine on the humorous side, but once I was done with reading it I honestly couldn't describe any truly outstanding parts.
Lover Awakened - The Brotherhood just gets better and better. Zsadist is by far my favorite Brother to date!
Remedial Magic - Quick read. Not sure if I want to actually read the whole series.
