Ok chickies, we are going to be reading something together as a group that is not a Darynda Jones novel *gasps* Please send in your book title ideas and ask others in the group to do the same. We could even do a series because we have enough time before October. I'd like us to be able to vote on a title by Friday in order to plan accordingly. Post here your ideas.
Can't wait to see what you guys want to read!!!
Keep sending your great ideas our way!

I'm going to nominate Grave Witch (Alex Craft, #1) by Kalayna Price by Kalayna Price. That's the first in the Alex Craft series.

Not yet, it's on my TBR list and looks like a good series...has sounds like it has some similarities to Charley's series.

Suzanne (Doppleganger) (doppleganger_suzanne) | 44 comments I've had Grave Witch on my TBR for a while now, so I'd be pretty happy with that as a selection!

Just to mix things up, I'll nominate Wicked as They Come (Blud, #1) by Delilah S. Dawson by Delilah Dawson. I heard about it from Darynda when she put it on her tbr list, and thought it was fun and completely different from anything else I've read. I also might have a little thing for men in top hats. :)

Hey, I am up for something new, a book or series that I have not read yet, one we can discover and discuss together.

I've read it and the second, it's good. There is this one character who is actually brilliant and I think you'll all love him...

Is there a series that you recommend, Chantal? One you have not read yet? I would love for all of us to read something new and discover it together, but maybe it is wishful thinking with all of us.

message 17: by Chantal (new)

Chantal Halpin | 125 comments Hmmm, hard to recommend a series I haven't read, let me check my TBR...

message 18: by Chantal (new)

Chantal Halpin | 125 comments I haven't read Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series yet, or The Midnight Breed one, or anything by Kelly Armstrong and she has been on my TBR for a while.

What does everyone else think?

message 19: by Ines (new)

Ines (slayraa) | 684 comments I haven't read any of the books proposed so I guess I'm up for any of them. But the way Dana wrote the post, it seems all options are to be compiled into a list and then maybe voted? Maybe we could pick one that nobody read or the one that least people read.

Suzanne (Doppleganger) (doppleganger_suzanne) | 44 comments Dana wrote: I placed it on the list, thx Suzanne! Hey, did I tell you I got a Wimeremire pup? She's 3 months old and a doll. :-)

Thanks! Weimaraners are the cutest puppies! Take lots of pictures of those blue eyes because they don't last long. ;)

The Midnight Breed books are a lot of fun too - very similar to Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood books if you like those. I've read them all, but it's been a looong time since I read the first one. It would be fun to revisit it.

Which series would you like to read by Kelly Armstrong, Chantal? Darkest Powers & Darkness Rising or Otherworld
Let me to know so I can post. :-)

I have never read Armstrong's YA series but I started the Otherworld series. It has lots of books in the series. Each book centers on specific characters but once you meet a character, they are brought into the other story lines.

Many have said they were willing to reread books, so I will put them on the list. KMM Highlander series has clues that reveal themselves in the Fever series and the soon to release Dani series.

Not yet...it's in the TBR list though.

Dana, I'm willing to reread books as well, but for the most part, everything that has been suggested I've either haven't read or only read 1 or 2 of.

message 33: by Barbara (new)

Barbara | 10 comments I've read most of these, I haven't read the Wicked as they Come and I haven't read all of the psy-changelings. I love KMM's Highlander series, It's been a couple of years since I read most of those. (I have to confess I re-read The Dark Highlander every now and then...I love Dageus.) I've started Outlander and read quite a few chapters, but it kinda drags on, and I haven't really been able to get into it.

Barbara | 10 comments Dark TIme (The Mortal Path Series) by Dakota Banks sounds like it will be a good series. Has anyone read it?
Another Series that I thought was great and I'd definitely re-read was the Masters of time Series by Brenda Joyce. Those have time-travel, sexy, uber-alpha Scots heroes, modern strong women, hot romance, and a good story.

Didn't know that...I will re-read too.

message 37: by Chantal (new)

Chantal Halpin | 125 comments I've read The Guild Hunter and the first three of the Psy-Changeling series by Nalini Singh. Love them all.

I've read KMM's Fever (which is one of my all time fave series) but I've never gotten around to the Highlanders - they've been on the TBR for a while.

I was thinking about starting the Weather Warden series by Rachel Caine, think it starts with; Ill Wind (Weather Warden, #1) by Rachel Caine
