"She's fine she just feels that she's gonna blow us all up which we know she won't" Lyla answerd quietly

Christy jumped backwards, surprise and anger flying through her eyes. With a quick movement, she lit the ground in front of Mika on fire.

Christy was furious, and stormed off. ((btw, fire is really that earthly, 'cause it can burn through the earth.))
"Stop it both of you! let's all calm down and go to DQ. Okay?"
Christy ignored her again. Her entire life she had been the butt of jokes and cruel comments. She felt betrayed. She thought that Laya was pretty cool, but now, never mind. Now that she knew what company Laya kept.

(( that doesn't make sense. You don't control earthy stuff. you bend water. And i control fire. when did i make people go mute?))
((That was Lyla... Laya is me. Names are confusing... Laya has been quiet cuz I had to go to bed.))
"OK, guys, enough jokes at Christy's expense. Let's go to DQ. I'm hungry." Laya led the way.
"OK, guys, enough jokes at Christy's expense. Let's go to DQ. I'm hungry." Laya led the way.
Laya stopped and turned around. "I'm not sure if you're talking about Lyla or Mika..."
"No, Christy, wait." Laya ran back to Christy. "They didn't mean anything. And if they did... well, I'll talk to them. OK? If that doesn't work... I always have my... other way."
Christy thought about it. Then, with a gusty sigh, she turned back around, her eyes narrowing at Mika.
Laya smiled. "Come one. Let's go get some food... and buy one of everything for Christy... then go to the store to get candy bars..."
Christy still didn't understand what all this 'candy bar' stuff was, but she decided to go along with it anyways.
Laya skipped to the front and opened the door to DQ. She didn't much care that she was drenched to the bone, or that there was hardly anyone still at work.
The first thing that hit Christy was the smell. It was so unfamiliar to her. It smelled, well, she couldn't quite find the word. "What's that smell?" she asked Laya, curiously.
Christy shrugged. "Laya told me to get something called, um, I don't really remember what it was, I think it had something to do with ice, though."
"That, Christy, is the sweet smell of junk food. A mixture of burgers, fries, ice cream, and soda. Well... not so much the soda..." Laya turned to Sarah. "You don't have to do that. I'll take half."
"Well... it's not exactly the healthiest food, but it's really good!" Laya smiled. She didn't know how else to explain it.
Laya stood out of the way. "OK, what do want? There's..." She stopped to count everyone. "Brian, Bryla, Sarah, Mika, Lyla, Christy, me... So, Sarah. I'll take four and you can take three... or visa versa... either way..."
Christy was concerned. "But, you named off all of those complicated names! I don't remember any of them..."
"Well, there's ice cream... salads... a variety of meat sandwiches... I'm getting a salad and an ice cream..." Laya looked at Christy. "What kind of meat do you want, would be the first question to answer."
