Who do you share your birthday with?

message 152: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
UNICORN.

Where do you think you might want to go to college and what might you major in?

message 153: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments Not a black hole.

Do you want to go to Narnia?

message 154: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments ELVES FTW.

Would you rather have a wand or a lightsaber?

message 155: by Colby (new)

Colby (colbz) | 3211 comments Wand, any day. It's so much more versatile.

Santa Clause or peach cobbler?

Pssh, don't say that. You're ridiculously smart.

The past. I'm infatuated with history and I don't think I want to see what this world is going to turn into.

Do you prefer buying your books or getting them from the library?

message 160: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
I'd say that I'm more of an algebra person, although I like them both. (I complain about math so much, but I really do find it fun.)

How are you today?

message 161: by Colby (new)

Colby (colbz) | 3211 comments ~Yue~ [Starless Nights Will Cover Day] wrote: "I am really tired and I might die, but other than that, great because I'm mostly homework-less!

What is your favorite type of dance?"

The dancing type.
Pfft. I'm too white to dance.

South Park?

Not allowed to watch it and I think it looks sort of stupid, but my friend Alex thinks I would love it and I try not to judge things I've never tried, so... undefined.

How often do you watch television?

message 163: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
I've heard of it, but I've never seen it. Is it on Netflix?

Who are you?

message 164: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Latter-Day Saints. Because I have a lot of Mormon friends here and I really like the way they worship and their lifestyle and all of that.

Do you watch Psych?

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
My iPod is lost. Ugh. And I haven't updated my iTunes in a while. But it says my most played song is Better Than Revenge by Taylor Swift. O.o I like that song, but I don't think I've listened to it 500 times.

Go to your iTunes playlist (or your iPod) and put it on shuffle and tell the first five songs. Um, please? (There. Now it's a question.)

message 166: by Colby (new)

Colby (colbz) | 3211 comments Holden, question?
But I actually can't find my iPod either, so I think your theory is correct...

My mom wanted to name me after my great-grandma, Lalie Belle, but she divorced my grandpa, so that would've been awkward. Lalie is my middle name though. I really wish it was my first name. If I don't go by Lav in college, I might go by Lalie.

(I WILL CHECK THEM OUT! But they can't beat Mika. I'm sorry. xD)

Have you ever broken the law?

Anyways. Um, was that your question?

message 171: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
It was! :D This could go on forever. So I shall break the cycle.

Do you like camping?

message 172: by Colby (new)

Colby (colbz) | 3211 comments Does anyone dislike camping?
(That's not my question.)
Umm...What's your stance on...cups?

message 173: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
My room is always full of cups, because I get a glass of water every night and then I forget to take them downstairs and then my dad starts ranting about how all the cups have disappeared so I make semi-weekly trips to the dishwasher with an armload of cups.

Do you have stuffed animals in your room?

message 174: by Colby (new)

Colby (colbz) | 3211 comments Nope.

Do you?

message 175: by Autumn (new)

Autumn (flwurautumn) | 4987 comments AUTUMN DOES. She even sleeps with a pillow pet of the unicorn variation at night.

Do you like milk?

message 176: by Elliott (last edited Apr 11, 2012 08:42PM) (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Only an entire shelf full... probably about 50... and the stuffed tiger, Roary, who sleeps with my every night and my pillow pet who sleeps with me when I can't find Roary because I accidentally shoved him in between the bed and the wall in the middle of the night and that's not even counting the giant bag I had to put in storage when I redecorated my room. I KIND OF REALLY LIKE STUFFED ANIMALS. Pssh, what do you take me for? A little kid or something?

When was the last time you played on a playground?

Wer du auch seist:
am Abend tritt hinaus
aus deiner Stube, drin du alles weißt;

(view spoiler)

Nah, I'm not obsessing over German poetry. That'd be weird.

Who is your favorite poet?

message 178: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
I'm not obsessed with poetry, but I've been trying to read more since it's such a gorgeous form of literature. So far I'm working on an Emily Dickinson collection and I just bought a Rilke translation and aaah Rilke's poetry is definitely my favorite. Oh, and Slyvia Plath is wonderful. (I quote her in MPDG! Chapter 13. Oh yeah. Lav is awesome and quotes poets in her books like a boss.)

UM. YEAH.

When is it due again?

message 179: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
That's awesome!

Yeah, I was going to say... um, Holden, what about Shakespeare? But I wasn't sure if you weren't counting him as a poet or something. YOU JUST FORGOT ABOUT HIM. Shame on you.

The Desiderata by Max Ehrmann
I don't like any of his other poetry, but aah that poem is so attractive.

Have you ever punched anyone?

"And even for that do I love you the more.
I am your spaniel; and, Demetrius,
The more you beat me, I will fawn on you:
Use me but as your spaniel, spurn me, strike me,
Neglect me, lose me; only give me leave,
Unworthy as I am, to follow you."

I've only read about half of A Midsummer Night's Dream and I've listened to Julius Caesar which I don't count because I didn't have enough time to fully absorb it, but so far, this is probably my favorite.

Which ten books would you take if you were trapped for an extended period of time in a white room that would only provide you with food and water to sustain you?

message 186: by Elliott (new)

Because people don't use their brain to full capacity and overlook such details.

What is your favorite decade?

message 187: by Colby (new)

Colby (colbz) | 3211 comments I like the nineties because it's the only decade that I can remember that wasn't this one. And everytime I see something from the nineties, I get all nostalgic.

Favorite children's show?

message 188: by tesni (last edited Apr 12, 2012 02:10PM) (new)

tesni (akhmatova) | 5031 comments 64 Zoo Lane. Also, HORRIBLE HISTORIES. These days if my brother (who's six) is watching it, I sit down and watch it with him. I have no shame. I mean seriously, who wouldn't? It has raps about Charles II.

What was the last nonfiction book you read?

message 189: by Colby (new)

Colby (colbz) | 3211 comments I'm currently reading this Doing Literary Criticism book for English, but not really the whole thing, so I *guess* that counts.

Do you wear hats?

What's the weather like where you are?

What was the last thing you ate?

tesni (akhmatova) | 5031 comments It's England. 'Nuff said. It's been showering on and off all day with occasional sunshine and good things, but this afternoon it was really quite stormy, which frightened me a lot because I was the only one in the house caused mild irritation because I had washing on the line and had to go out and get drenched in order to try and rescue it.

As of right now, it's from Doctor Who. It involves multiple people talking and stuff. Oh well.

Rose: But what do I do every day, Mum? Get up. Go to work. Catch the bus, eat chips, and go to bed.
Mickey: It's what the rest of us do.
Rose: But I can't.
Mickey: Because you’re better than us?
Rose: No, I didn’t mean that. But it was, it was a better life. I don’t mean all the travelling and seeing aliens and spaceships and things. That don't matter. The Doctor showed me a better way of living your life. [To Mickey] You know, he showed you too. [continues] You don't just give up. You don’t just let things happen. You make a stand. You say "no." You have the guts to do what's right when everyone else just runs away! and I just can't...!

What is your favorite color?

message 199: by Colby (new)
