i love seth don't get me wrong but i think that he have some kind of deal that we really won't like with her stepfather. i can't wait for the next book!

I thought I was wrong for hoping for team seth... soooooo glad I am not! I am totally for team Seth he's just got this hotness going on and plus he connected in more ways than one. Aiden was ok in Half-blood and hardly non existent in pure. Seth showed up and BAM all hotness in a form of a well Hotness incarnate!!
I'm all for Team Seth! It would be surprising if Alex chooses Seth in the end but that would make for a freaking awesome surprise! There's this whole thing about 'need' not being mistaken for 'love' in the first book..well what if it turns out that Alex is actually in love with Seth but she's so freaked out about being tied to fate that she can't see it and she only sees it as a 'need' because she's in denial. So that's what i'm hoping for. Aiden was nice but he was sooooooo boring, even in the 1st book. Seth seems like a better fit for Alex and makes for a more interesting story.

Has anyone read the first 3 chapters of Deity? J.Armentrout posted them during the YA Sacavenger hunt. I am team Seth, but after those chapters I want to quit the team! Seth is hiding too much and I don't like what he's doing to Alex. I keep thinking about what the oracle told her and I can only hope that Seth will choose Alex over whatever power play he's got planned.
I read it. I'm scared. its so unlike the seth we've seen so far. I don't see him faking all that but whatever. I'm sorta pissed that this is happening again to me. another good character...

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who is Team Seth...just finished the first two and I just love him. I always pull for the underdog...in this case Seth. I like Aiden, but he's not Seth.

Oooh, I'm not sure how I feel about Aiden being evil. I still have hopes for him, I've just recently joined the dark side (Seth's side.) I'm pretty neutral at this point, but after reading Pure and first three chapters of Diety, I'm liking Seth more and more.

I just asked Jen during the livestream event if she would write a Seth novella and she said she was thinking about it! By the way she was talking about it, it seems like it's already in the works!

oh jeez. I heard the same about my dislike for Dimitri and he turned out to be not at moral as everyone made him out to be.
I love Aiden but I also love Seth. Sadly I have a strong feeling that Seth is going to go bad, and then when Alex is about to die Seth will like jump in front of her and take the blow. And then they will have this moment. And Seth will be like "im sorry" and Alex will forgive him and hold him while he dies. :(
I doubt it will for Seth fans.
You know, whenever these sort of love triangles pop up in books, I'm always wondering why the heroine just doesn't get with both guys. Why not have the best of both worlds? ;)
Aiden.I love Seth, but I fear he has a hidden agenda. He'll do something almost unforgivable to her, but be redeemed eventually, I'm sure. Aiden is pretty up front about who he is and why he's doing what he's doing.... and he's sacrificing everything he's ever believed in for her. How is that not worth her affection?
Besides, if she picks Aiden that leaves the path open for a follow-on series for Seth to find someone good enough for him and his potentially devious ways. ;)

I think it's obvious that Alex will end up with Aiden. But it would be great if she chose Seth in the end. Then, she wouldn't have to choose between fate and love because Seth would be both. I think choosing Seth has its dangers though and that's something I really want to read about. Not about her unrequited love w/ a pure. It's romantic and all in the beginning, but I really think Seth REALLY GETS HER. They're one in the same! They're MEANT TO BE. They were created for each other.... And I want to see her CHOOSE him. I think Aiden + Alex story line is captivating too, but it's SO played out and predictable! I have faith in JLA <3 No matter what, I know she'll deliver us something REALLY GOOD with the following books. =)

gosh i just LOVED this book. mostly cuz of Seth and then the awesomeness of Alex lol but i did literally cry when Caleb died. i knew it was coming but just not so soon :'(
Defiantly not a team seth. he is a killer. and kidnaps alex. i'm team "Pure guy"

I doubt Alex will actually end up with him considering she is so hung up with stupid Aiden and the predictability of YA novels in general, but a girl can hope ... :)
I'm also hopping on the train of those who think Aiden needs to disappear and stop being so weak-willed. He's just making things worse for Alex.
