JumpStreet_ | 136 comments Heeeeeeey! I finally got the game set up! YEAAA! ok, back to buisness. The rules and stuff go like this...

Rules:

1. If you want to battle someone. Then just put it in ((I want to battle.....)), then create the battle scene. Then choose a number from 1-1000. The person who got chosen to battle would have to do the same. Who ever is closest wins. Charlie or myself will post the number as soon as possible. P.S we chose from random.org!

2. NO RANDOMLY killing!

3.Do not write in bold, only Charlie and I

4.If you do not answer in a week, then your tribute will die by the Capitol's control.

So the location..... *grins*

WELCOME TRIBUTES AND WELCOME TO THE FIRST ANUUAL HUNGER GAMES(OF THIS GROUP), YOU TRIBUTES WILL BE IN A GROTTO (BTW, THATS A CAVE UNDERWATER, SEARCH IT ON GOOGLE IF MUST), THAT HAS MILLIONS OF ENDLESS TWISTS AND TURNS THAT WOULD MAKE YOUR HEAD SPIN. SEVERAL WATER FALLS WILL BE SCATTERED, THEY ARE DRINKABLE. BUT DON'T THINK YOU CAN GET WATER THAT EASILY, EACH WATERFALL IS GUARDED BY SHARKS, AND JELLYFISH. YOU MUST DEFEAT IT IF YOU WANT TO DRINK FROM THE WATERFALL.

Each tribute will be on a little island in the middle of the water. Once you battle the waves inside the grotto, there will be the Cornupia (if thats how you spell it). That is when you will go your own ways and go meet with your Alliances. The clams under water are eatable, but beware, there are sharks, stingrays, jelly fish and all those underwater dangers inside this Grotto. One wrong move and you're a goner!

Thanks for participating and...
May the odds be ever in your favour! :)

As we are raised, on our platforms, into the arena, I looks around and see a very unfamiliar landscape. There's water everywhere. I see waves crashing and many possible dangers. I had hopes for the arena, but this isn't it. While I can swim, I don't know how well I can fight and swim. I'm light and quick, so as I look around, I start to get a more positive outlook on the arena. I have a huge advantage over my larger competitors, I'll stay afloat with much less effort, and I think a knife would be very useful. I have to get through these waves fast and hit land to take on my fellow tributes, and meet Brent and the other Careers ((Please joint my alliance if your a career!)), as we ready ourselves to take out the others!

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

((Now Brent))
I stare hungrily around at my new home, the arena. It seems promising, I'm an amazing swimmer, at home I learned in a underground lake that is near the diamond mines. This is my element! Also, being in the water takes away from my clumsiness, although, I've never tried handling a large weapon in the water. Better keep the fighting on land. I ready myself to dive in, and brace myself for the potential dangers that the waves below hold. I think I can knock out a shark, but I'm powerless against something quick. I'll head for land and seek out a nice spear or sword, then meet up with Fade and the other careers. ((Please join my pack!))

I look around at the other tribute. I wanted to break down and cry. But then I saw the water. Sure, I still wanted to cry, but I am a good swimmer and I can possibly use it to my advantage! I look aat the cornicopia (sorry, i know the spellin's wrong) and see a small little pack, perfect for me, and a small bag filled with weapons. This is good, because now I could work with tons of weapons. But I have to get it soon or my time is ticking.....

The instant i open my eyes, I almost want to sing, " THANK YOU!!!" to all those crazy gamemakers, for they have given me the greatest gift of all, the chance to use my swimming skills to kill all those other tributes... 'No, Cedar, clear your head,' I think, as i give myself a shake of joy. 'Where are you? WHERE ARE YOU!?!' Looking around, i see white caped waves sploshing at my feet and around my tiny little island. Underneath the surface, i can see all sorts of marine life, while although there's dangers, I see clams scattered all along the sandy floor. Here's where my skills come in handy. I need rope. Plenty of rope. And knives. those too, although im not sure how much they'll help here in terms of food. The Cornucopia. It's not 30 yards away and i think, 'sure there's waves, nothing you cant handle.' Now i see it. The pack made for me. Although it's nothing but a spool of strong rope, a few knives, and a water bottle, I know retriving it will be the difference between my life and death. If only i can get there in time. After that, me and the other careers ((Sam Im joining your alliance)) will deal with our fellow competitors. The seconds are melting away...

I look around and figure out what my best move is. I decide that it would be best to bolt toward the center, grab something that I can use for a shield, and I'll grab MY bow and arrows. When the gong sounds, I sprint for the center and then I’ll sprint for the water. Thank goodness that I got a lot of practice at home along with swimming. I grab the sling over bag and try to grab the bow and arrows, but I’m unable to grab the bow and arrows because another tribute is chasing after me. I sprint and dive into the water as the tribute throws an ax at me, he or she is probably from 7, but fortunately, he or she misses. I swim around to the right side of the island. The other tributes don’t know that I'm still alive since the blood bath hasn't ended and the cannons haven't gone off either. It's a decent sized swim, but I make it to the other side of the island safely before anybody else. I’m glad the Gamemakers didn’t do anything with the water or put anything dangerous in it. I guess they think I’ll put up a good fight, which is true. I get up back onshore, but now I have to put more distance between the other tributes. Once I think I put enough distance from them, I look in my bag; and get some food and water. For now, I'm going to keep on moving so I feel more comfortable away from the others.

I wonder who will be dead by tonight, is all I’m thinking now.

Im so glad im out of that tube. It made me kind of claustrophobic. As i look around the arena, I realize im surrounded by water and standing on what seems like an island. I look around at the other tributes. They eye one another like a tiger about to pounce on their prey, and there is no way I am going to be dinner. When the gong goes, Without thinking I quickly run towards the Cornucopia, and spot an axe and a backpack beside it. I took them both when i saw i tall boy who seems like a career run towards the waters. I threw my axe towards him but he ducked and my axe nearly hit the girl that was in front of him. My hands were to shaky and filled with sweat. So I grabbed my axe and ran deep within the island away from the bloodbath.

Is it possible to die from fear itself? I take a look around at the people who are suppose to be my enemies. I see my fellow district 7 tribute Ajax. He's usually more sturdy but this was the first time I saw that he was actually about to collapse. I can't blame him though. I mean, this is it. This could possibly mean the end of the world for us. For me. The gong is about to go, and im still not sure if i should back away or head to the Cornucopia. Then it happens, and I find myself too afraid to go near it. Everyone starts pushing and shoving, and before you know it they are stabbing and killing ! I spot a backpack nearest me, and grab it as quickly as i can and swing it over my shoulders, then i head to the waters away from the madness !

message 16: by JumpStreet_ (new)

JumpStreet_ | 136 comments Suddenly a gigantic wave off water rushes over the tribute. (Good luck if you can't swim!) The water washes over the grotto. But several life boats pop up from the water.

((Fade))

As the gong sounds I leap off my platform and swim as fat as I can for the cornucopia. As soon as I'm in the water, a wave crests and I'm forced on top of the cornucopia. I lunge beneath it and grab a bunch of knives, ready to meet up with my allies and take on the other tributes.

I run as far as possible from the other tributes. I scale a huge tree and just keep jumping through trees. I settle down in one and check my packs. I have in my small pack; water bottle already with water, a small pack of crackers, aa rope, matches, and some water cleanser. I my weapon bag, I have a few knives, a bow and 12 arrows, an axe, a slingshot, and a few other things I can't place. Maybe I do have a chance....

I hear the gong and leap off my platform and swim like a maniac for the weapons that I'm itching to use. As I get close to the cornucopia, I lunge for a monster sword and before I'm even really out of the water, it's in my hand. I run to Fade, pick up and take with me as many weapons I can hold (including a mace, scythe, ax, and extra long knife) as I reach her, we stand back to back and get ready for the rest of the tributes.

"Crap," I whisper to myself as I see the rolling blue waves of water.
If there's anything I really and truly hate, it's swimming. Being from District 11, there was never any need. The gong sounds, and I have no time to think before a rush of tributes plunge into the water towards the Cornucopia.
"Either jump or die," I think to myself. I teeter on the fragile edges of indecision before I hope with every fiber in my body that my suit holds some sort of flotation device. And then I leap.

((Will someone please ally with me?))
Making a frantic glance over both my shoulders, I spot about 3 tributes, but I don't have time to count exactly how many there are. I'm too distracted by the massive shark that's hurling itself towards me by the second.

I'm tempted to go to the knives. I think I'll go get them right after the gong. *Gong peal* I run for the knives, but I trip and fall. I still persist to go get them. When I get about 2 feet away, Fade grabs them and throws one at my heart, but she misses the firat time. I run to get out of the arena. After several hours, I hear 5 cannon fires. I live for another two days before the Careers find me. Sadly, Fade doesn't miss, and all I remember last is seeing the beautiful blue sky as I fall. I find myself having difficulty breathing and keeping my eyes open so I concentrate on the sky until I can't fight it any longer. *Dies*

As soon as I hit land, and I'm going for a knife, out of the corner of my eye I see a boy running at me. On instinct, I pick up I knife and hurl it at him. bullseye I think as I see him dead on the ground. Kill 1 for Fade! But, then I really look and see him staring at the sky. I'm standing with Fade, weapons at the ready, one tribute, at least, dead. Then, I see a shadowy figure who slightly resembles Mylan from district 3. I wonder if she wants something, because if she doesn't say something soon, I'm gonna step out and fight her.

The gong rings out and i leap into the water, swimming hard and fast, until i reach land. MY PACK! I sprint to grab it and scan the area for more knives and my fellow carrers. Suddenly, i find both, with Fade kneeling over a bloody figure, presumably dead, only about 30 ft away from me. Next to her is an array of knives, which i'm itching to use, when i realize, that i allready have one. I pull the wicked thing out of my pack ((which is on his back, btw)) and stand, ready for action. I watch Fade pick herself off the carcass and jog over to Brent, who i rememer is one of my allies too. He seems distracted though, so I fight my way over to stand at their sides, forming a triangle with our 3 backs pressed together and say, "So guys, who's first?"

((Bridget)) Great water, was my first thought after I heard the gong. I could swim, but just barely. Before I realized what was heppening, the fight for stuff at the cornucopia was almost over and I had nothing. I jumped into the water and paddled as fast as I coukld snacthing up a little bag from the water. I tried to float and get my bearings.

What. The hell. Was that.

In terror, i take a glance at the source of the noise, and down one of the larger tunnels opening to the Cornucopia i spy a large, shadowy creature, about as big as my father's fishing boat with wicked finns, claws, and scarlet red eyes, swimming around crossly and ramming it's giant head against the walls of the cave and the air around it, like it was being contained in a giant box or something. Well, it probably was, just so the gamemakers could control when it could attack/eat one of us.

I shudder at the thought, turn to my allies that also are half gawking half trying to kill other tributes and say with dark humor, "I think we know which tunnel NOT to take..."

I start to gather edible plants that I know are safe because I eat them at home. I'm planning to fish later on, but I want to make sure no one will be at the water. Most of them will probably go toward water that doesn't contain salt. Salt water is stupid to drink if purifying it first isn’t possible because the salt will dehydrate my body. After fishing, I'll wait for the best time to set a fire based on whether the Gamemakers make the sun create a sunset or sunrise. In my backpack, I find a tiny bit of food, a container for water, metal, rope, and simple first-aid supplies. It will definitely help. For the night, I'll hide under a little a cave that’s hard to see at night, but I can put a giant rock or something in front of it during the day. Today I won't be able to get food, but good thing I gained a good amount of weight during training. I wait and listen for the cannon to announce the deaths. There are five cannon booms. I go in my cave; and I wait for the picture of the dead tributes, the capital seal, and the anthem. I don’t realize that I fall asleep before the Gamemakers show the dead tributes.

I frantically scramble back onto my plate, and the shark (who has lost interest now that he knows I am out of reach) goes speeding towards another tribute. I leap back into the water and doggy-paddle (at least I can do this) to an island nearby. By the time I'm there I'm panting like crazy, but I don't dare stop to rest. Before I know what is happening I'm surrounded by palm trees and have already dug a hole to cool myself off. I've been going for the last two hours and I can barely remember a thing. I'll get up and look around tomorrow, but tonight I'm just going to stay here and hope to survive.

What was that!?!? Sounded like something big falling... Then, at Cedar's direction, I turn around to see a giant sea creature flipping about. Guess we won't have to worry about tributes from that direction ...

"Agreed!" I reply"

I whip around, hearing a sound from the north, I ready a knife, looking for a target, but all I can see is a giant water monster writhing behind some sort of invisible wall in an nearby tunnel... It doesn't seem to pose as an immediate danger, but I still don't lower my knife.
"I think we know what tunnel NOT to take" Cedar comments.
Brent agrees and I add in, with a grin, "I think we might have more than just tributes to kill. Let's hope that scared everyone away, so we can gather the supplies and start hunting! 20 tributes to go still!"
