Okay I'm gonna force myself to go to sleep now.

I managed to force myself to sleep at 1 last night! Except that I absolutely HAD to get up at 6:30 this morning, so I feel kinda crappy right now (it is currently 6:37).

The latest report from the sheriff is that 372 homes have been destroyed.
An official briefing will air on TV in just under an hour, but that is when I start work (the [expletive] managers just gave me a call and asked me if I could come in early…I told them eight hours was long enough), so I won't be able to receive/post updates until my break, which will be four or five hours after.
I hear there is low wind and cloud cover, though, and so I think we'll have a good day of firefighting.

And hopefully it will be a good day of firefighting. :)

And now, because we are understaffed, they are asking me to suffer through a nine-hour shift? My mom was saying I needed the extra money, but the reality is, I'd only be making about $5 more.
Sorry. Mini-rant. I'm gonna go finish getting ready for my real work shift.
