Regina (reginar) Is there a release date estimate?

message 8052: by Marcella (new)

Marcella (marcella6) | 886 comments I just saw on her FB page that the next book will be called The King. It is about Wrath and Beth and them trying to have a baby.

message 8053: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) She just said 2014, but usually it's in the spring, around March. That's been the release date of the last three.

message 8054: by Marcella (new)

Marcella (marcella6) | 886 comments Well we shall see.

message 8055: by Kay (new)

Kay (calikay) | 1216 comments I'm so happy to hear that the next book is about Wrath and Beth b/c I wasn't feeling any of the other newish characters. Yay!

I'm currently reading Geek Girl by Cindy C. Bennett and I'm enyoing it.

I'm in Monterey, CA with my family today. We'll be here until Monday and probably stop by Santa Cruz before we head home. I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

message 8056: by Marcella (new)

Marcella (marcella6) | 886 comments Have fun Kay! I am all ready for my family bbq tomorrow.

message 8057: by Leea (new)

Leea Have fun Kay!!! Did you take the kids to the aquarium? I'm so hoping your trip goes better than ours.

I'm so excited for a Beth and wrath book. I miss all the original brothers so much. Very exciting news.

I honestly haven felt like reading anything after Lover at Last. It's been a busy fun weekend. I hope everyone has a fun Waster, if you celebrate. We're going to sac to hang out with family.

message 8058: by Kay (new)

Kay (calikay) | 1216 comments Thanks Marcella and Leea. I'm taking the kids to the aquarium tomorrow. It is suppose to rain tomorrow but I hoep they will have fun tomorrow anyway.

Have a good Easter, everyone!

message 8059: by Marcella (new)

Marcella (marcella6) | 886 comments I am surprised the Aquarium is open tomorrow. Then again I am sure it is a tourist place to go. My sister works at the Huntington Library and they are open tomorrow.

Regina (reginar) Yay!

Leea Enjoy, Angie and Regina. I really liked that book. I cannot wait to hear what you ladies think :)

Yes...we do! Just let me know when.

message 8064: by Leea (new)

Leea Maybe at the end of this week? We'll chat when you get back from your trip.

Happy Easter Everyone!
(view spoiler)

message 8065: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) So cute!!!!

message 8066: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) I love it!!

message 8067: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) I am settling down to read right now. :)

I am looking forward to a return to the brotherhood, but I won't be buying it. I will wait for it from the library.

Lori -- there are so many more books/series to read! :D I wish I found something comparable to troubleshooters though.

I finished No Control (Delta Force #2) by Shannon K. Butcher and it was okay. I really think my love for troubleshooters is more my love for that series rather than me being a fan of romantic suspense.

message 8068: by Angie Elle (new)

Angie Elle (angieelle) | 602 comments I'm just starting Eyes of Silver, Eyes of Gold by Ellen O'Connell .

Your kids are so cute, Leea.

message 8070: by Leea (new)

Leea Thanks. I'm going to start The Raven Boys and try to catch up to Wendy.

message 8071: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) It's so good! Even watching Game of Thrones I'm thinking about it. I can't wait to see how you like it.

So adorable, Leea!

message 8073: by Leea (new)

Leea Up to chapter 4 and I'm stopping there for tonight. It's raining so hard here and we're even getting some lightning. I hope to read more tomorrow. I cannot wait for Walking Dead tonight, alone with Game of Thrones, and Shameless... I'm too tired to watch all those. lol!

message 8074: by Marcella (new)

Marcella (marcella6) | 886 comments I was hoping to have time to watch season 2 of GOT before tonight's premiere but I didn't have a chance.

I guess the rain is heading my way. It rained a little earlier but it stopped abruptly.

message 8075: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) I am loving Eyes of Silver, Eyes of Gold by Ellen O'Connell so much!

message 8076: by Leea (new)

Leea I loved that book so much Regina!!

I'm enjoying The Raven Boys (The Raven Cycle, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater . The writing is magical an the characters are layered, some dark but all interesting. It's a quick read, I'm already to 42%.

message 8077: by Angie Elle (new)

Angie Elle (angieelle) | 602 comments Regina wrote: "I am loving Eyes of Silver, Eyes of Gold by Ellen O'Connell so much!"

Me, too, Regina. I woke up early so I could finish it this morning. LOL I loved it more than I loved Beautiful, Bad Man, and I LOVED that one!

I will be checking out her other two! :)

message 8078: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) I am sad she doesn't have a lot more books! I love her characters, I love the slow building romance.

message 8079: by Angie Elle (new)

Angie Elle (angieelle) | 602 comments Regina wrote: "I am sad she doesn't have a lot more books! I love her characters, I love the slow building romance."

I know! I hate it when I find an author I love and their backlist isn't miles long.

I like the slow building romance, too, and the circumstances that make it so intense!

message 8080: by Marcella (new)

Marcella (marcella6) | 886 comments Ladies...I have a question about Tohr's book and I am hoping you can shed some light.

******SPOILER ALERT******

Ok here is my question...at the end we all find out that Autumn is in the In Between just as Wellsie is. If Autumn was "dead" (because you are dead when youare in the In Between, just not in the Fade)then how in the hell did she go into her needing?

I thought about it when I was driving on the freeway the other day.

message 8081: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) And I loved learning (view spoiler)

The circumstances were intense. I think maybe the father was painted as too dark, I tend to prefer the gray sort of villain rather than just a cookie cutter version, but I still really enjoyed it.

I think I will be reading Sing My Name by Ellen O'Connell Rachel's Eyes a Short Story by Ellen O'Connell next by her.

message 8082: by Leea (new)

Leea Dancing on Coals is the book I want to read next by O'Connell. I love her writing style also, I hope she has more books in the works.

message 8083: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) That looks good, I want to read that one too.

message 8084: by Leea (new)

Leea We should all buddy read it together one of these days :)

message 8085: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) Agreed!

And I remembered we were supposed to be reading an arc that we both got -- I forgot which though?

message 8086: by Kay (new)

Kay (calikay) | 1216 comments I'm back from Monterey. We had a good time. The aquarium is expensive and I'm not sure if we'll be doing it again anytime soon. We had a fun time on the beach today before we headed back to the Bay: http://instagram.com/p/XlR1fuM_Yv/

I finished reading Geek Girl by Cindy C. Bennett which I enjoyed. Now, I'm reading If You Find Me by Emily Murdoch .

I definitely want to read Dancing on Coals by Ellen O'Connell . Leea, let me know what works for you!

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Kay, those are such great pics! You all look so adorable. :)

I read Geek Girl a while back. It was a fun book. I've heard really good things about If You Find Me. It's on my short list.

Working my way through Sunfire (Pure Wildfire, #1) by Lynne Connolly and it's been pretty laughable so far.

message 8088: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) Kay you are all so beautiful!! I love those pictures. :)

I have heard great things about If You Find Me. I need to read it.

The cover of Sunfire is pretty funny when looking at it just at a glance or far away, it looks like she is grabbing his stuff.

message 8089: by Lori (new)

Lori (lorimcd) Reading Electing To Murder - no idea why GR doesn't have the right cover yet.... Interesting that many TV shows and books have plots on how a presidential candidate's campaign manager + others attempt to take an election by messing with the electronic voting booth memory cards. Haven't heard a thing in the news, nor do I expect to. I guess folks are just thinking about how close the races have been in the past several years and ways to change the outcome? Hmmm...

Anyway, that puts me current with the Mac Ryan mystery series.

Maybe NOW I can read Troubleshooter 4 Out of Control (Troubleshooters, #4) by Suzanne Brockmann !!!

message 8090: by Kay (new)

Kay (calikay) | 1216 comments Thanks, Regina and Stacia. you gals are too sweet.

Stacia...Geek Girl was very cute. I'm curious to read Heart on a Chain by Cindy C. Bennett which is also by the same author.

I finished If You Find Me by Emily Murdoch and I liked it. It was very hard to read b/c I don't like thinking about awful horrible things that happen to young children.

message 8091: by Marcella (new)

Marcella (marcella6) | 886 comments Great picks Kay! Looks like such a beautiful day and you and your family look beautiful.

Kay (calikay) | 1216 comments Thanks Marcella & Angie...luckily the weather was good & didn't rain on us.

message 8094: by Leea (new)

Leea You and boy look great!! I agree, aquarium is so expensive... We still have out tickets so we're going to try and go in June. Looks like a memory making day - those are the best!

Finished The Raven Boys (The Raven Cycle, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater and it's one of my favorite books of the year. Next up i'd like to read the new KA book, Own the Wind (Chaos, #1) by Kristen Ashley . I'm trying to decided if I want to buy it...

message 8095: by Kay (new)

Kay (calikay) | 1216 comments Thanks, Leea :)

You might as well get the KA book since you're such a big fan :)

message 8096: by Christen (new)

Christen | 6 comments I am reading Lauren by Julia Crane by Julia Crane. So far, so good! :)

Leea Regina wrote: "Agreed!

Lie Still by Julia Heaberlin I had to look on my Netgalley account to make sure I was right.

Leea Kay wrote: "Thanks, Leea :)

The last book was not very good, so i'm a little worried things have changed since she became published. That or i'm finally over this author - who know? I'll buy it in the morning :)

I'm finally watching Game of Thrones.

message 8099: by Leea (new)

Leea Regina did you get Dirty Little Secret by Jennifer Echols ? maybe that was the one. lol!

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Oh I have that one. I heard it was cute.

I was debating whether or not to grab Lie Still. It looks like it could be interesting.
