What Are You Reading Now?

Lori, the author of EiT has two other series in progress as well. Sins & Needles is pretty good and I'm working on her book The Devil's Metal at the moment, which I can't tell if I like yet.
A solo vacation? That sounds wonderful.

If you are pathetic then I am too!
Stacia I hope you feel better.

This book is so long too. I love that.

Me too. I got a friend into BDB bc she was really into twilight. Now, she preorders every BDB book and she even text me to remind me when Lover at Last will be released. As if I didn't know already. LOL

Enjoy your day ladies!

Okay, finally got home and now i'm reading to jump right into

I finished the book but am currently at a loss for how I want to rate it. Must think over.

That has been on my Kindle for so long... I need to read it. Can't wait to see what you think Angie :)

Back to

I know, I know... I've got plenty of other books on the TBR list and Troubleshooters #4 and Wilde #1 just waiting to be finished! I think because these books are shorter (<300 pages), they seem more readable right now.
PLUS, I really will have to go back to Lover At Last in a week or so and re-read it. I fear I didn't give the book it's due, because I raced through it. As I read the various commentaries by folks, including ya'll who got me into the series in the first place, I realize that I rushed my reading and harshed on the book. I do *like* the book, and even after a 2nd read, I'm not sure if it'll be my favorite of the bunch; but it's a good book. I think that whole anticipation and now having to wait for who-know-how-long got me. (I'm sure that I'll hate MOBY on the first reading, too!)

It's a GOOD BOOK!!! And if you love the BDB, you'll like reading it - or even better.

I am going to try to finish up Clockwork Princess today since I have a few pages left, but I'm stuck with which book I'm going to read next. Today had been a prescheduled buddy read that I decided to cancel because I knew I would be in and out sleeping off the last of this crap.
So I'm debating between

I am not going to wait, now I just scared to. Ha ha!
I loved the first book in Vlad's series. He is definitely a different Vlad than what I saw in Night Huntress.

Vlad's book was better than the last couple of NH books but not on the level of the early NH stuff. I liked it well enough but wasn't bowled over. I just went back and looked at my notes and it appears that I was already questioning how well the chemistry would hold up for several books.

I agree Stacia. The NH books haven't been the same since book 3. After that they were sketchy. But I read them anyways because I am infatuated with Bones. Ha ha!

None at all? The stories weren't the best but Bones's sexiness is worth the effort.

Wow! That's awesome news for goodreads. I hope this is good news for the end user. I just hope the changes that happen will benefit us in the long run b/c I love goodreads!

Then again, it could be the beginning of the apocalypse! ;-)

There have been 6 books.

No one's leaving. Regina posted that goodreads was acquired by Amazon. I don't know if this is good or bad and what that means for us users in the future. I'm just saying...that's all.

I'm not happy about the news. Amazon censors reviews more than GR does, and they have even more rampant self-promotion spam. They've already made a comment about how this will bring more unknown authors to the masses, which means they want GR for expanded selling potential.
