Regina (reginar) I am at the same point Leea!

message 7652: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) Okay, plotting lunch. I have a frozen meal from Trader Joe's and I am going to read about some more sexy dominant wolves.

I cannot wait for the next book -- does anyone know if she is giving out arcs?

message 7653: by Leea (new)

Leea I have been reading all morning... chap 10 50%... Holy hotness batman. Enjoy your lunch Regina :)

Yes!!! Had to bring it up on my itunes to make sure I was thinking of the right song...

message 7655: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) So jealous!! just approaching 40%. )

LOL, I was listening to that song on my playlist while I read it, so it was perfect. So much ends up on my playlist thanks to my middle schooler -- like I Have Justin Bieber's If I was your boyfriend. I keep wondering -- how did that get on my playlist??

message 7656: by Leea (new)

Leea Jim and I share an itunes account too... can you tell i'm lazy with my accounts and just sponge off my hubby. so it syncs stuff and i'm like what's this... hmm, lets see if I like it. haha! I love Maroon 5!!

message 7657: by Leea (new)

Leea I have to put Feral Sins aside for a bit to start Raid (Unfinished Hero, #3) by Kristen Ashley

Yeah I love that part too and little (view spoiler)

message 7659: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) Now I want to read Feral Sins!

Wendy, have you read the Cut & Run series? It's 6 books so far of 1 m/m couple. Really enjoying it so far.

Tellulah Darling (tellulahdarling) Regina wrote: "I am loving Feral Sins. I want to read and not work. It reminds me of the song the Maroon 5 song One More Night."

Glad I downloaded the book now. The line in that song "You and I go hard at each other like we're going to war" always makes me think of everything hot and dirty that Adam Levine stands for, for me. My shame crush.

No, but I think I have the first few on my Kindle. I've been wanting to read them, I've heard they're really good.

I wanted to put some distance between that series and the PsyCop series because they're both about police, right? I love PsyCop and I didnt' want to be comparing them.

You like them?

message 7664: by Regina (last edited Mar 06, 2013 12:52PM) (new)

Regina (reginar) My GR friends are so mixed on Cut&Run. Some give it 5 stars and then others are 2-3 stars. But I guess that means it is probably good, lol!

I love that line! :) Is it sad that I don't know who Adam Levine is? I am so out of the loop on popular culture ...

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I'm up to 80% in Feral Sins and I can report that the orgy scene was in our copy, Leea. It's chapter 17. It was verrah nice to read but I can see why it was cut from the newer copy. The entire idea doesn't really jive well with how Trey acts toward Taryn in general.

Okay, since we're talking about m/m...I've heard that one of the best m/m series out there is The Administration, starting with Mind Fuck (The Administration, #1) by Manna Francis . So I think I will probably read that at some point.

message 7667: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) Yay!! :D But yeah, that wouldn't jive. Hmmmmmm, I'll have to look into that series.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I'm curious if the revised copy has better editing. Not that the editing is horrible in the book I have, but I did catch a few typos. One of them made me laugh (can't remember now what it was) because it changed the meaning of the word.

message 7669: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) I havne't caught any typos yet. I am not sure what that says about me! But I am having so much fun with it. I love the licking of the mark talk. :)

message 7670: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) Stacia, I haven't even heard of that before. I'm totally checking it out now!

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I like a lot of the talk and how he keeps goading her into being a good girl. I don't even mind that he calls her his little bitch, since they are wolves.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Oh, and the banter between Taryn and the grandmother is hilarious.

message 7673: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) Oh me too - - it doesn't bother me b/c they are both so engaged in it and love it.

The banter between Greta and Taryn is funny and I feel like it is a test by the grandma.

Leea Regina wrote: "Leea wrote: "I have to put Feral Sins aside for a bit to start Raid (Unfinished Hero, #3) by Kristen Ashley"

God no... I already had scheduled a buddy read with some friends for today. I'm already 58% into Feral Sins and wow!! No orgy scene yet but now i'm not sure if that would ever fit into (view spoiler)

Great book title. hahaha!!

Now you have me intrigued in that scene and who's in it? You don't have to say but (view spoiler)

message 7676: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) I am wondering too.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) There's a few people. After all, it's an orgy. ;)

message 7678: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) Lol.

message 7679: by Leea (new)

Leea Haha!!! Smart ass

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Better a smart ass than a dumb ass?

As soon as I finish this, I will be starting The Shattered Dark (McKenzie Lewis, #2) by Sandy Williams . But for now, I'm going to grab a quick nap and then start dinner. I really wanted to go for a walk but my allergies have my eyes so puffy that I just want to shut them right now.

message 7681: by Leea (new)

Leea Never a dumb ass. Nope!!!

Ugh allergies suck. Hope you feel better. I'm up to 64% now.

I just watched the video to that song. I was great. I love how songs can just perfectly match books.

I do. I would say they're unevenly written (as I joked before about not being into the plot) - the procedural case part of them is fairly thing. So I can see why ratings are all over the place. But I've found myself invested in Ty and Zane enough to strongly want to get to their ultimate HEA.

I'm curious about the PsyCop series because I don't know it. Is it very dark? Or more light-hearted?

LOL - I've lost all my pop culture cred. I blame it on being a parent. :)

message 7685: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) Tellulah the Psycop Series is both light and dark they're funny and dark and unlike anything ive ever read before. Check out my reviews I think you like them.

message 7686: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) Me too Paloma! This may be a favorite pnr for me. Thank you Stacia!!

message 7687: by Christen (new)

Christen | 6 comments I am reading Freak of Nature by Julia Crane. I love the concept and plot of the book. It is a refreshing change from what I have been reading recently.

Freak of Nature (IFICS, #1) by Julia Crane

message 7688: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) Yeah Tellulah! I agree with Regina. It's both light and dark. Great amazing characters, and they get better and better with each installment. It's one of my favorite series.

I think I have reviews too. Just short ones though.

message 7689: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) Your reviews for these are great Wendy, I believe I "liked" them all. :)

message 7690: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) Thanks!

message 7691: by Leea (new)

Leea Finished Feral Sins and it was good... Hot, sexy and funny. I agree, it was so fun to read and I loved all the banter with Taryn and Greta. I cannot wait for the next book. Thanks Stacia!

Angie Elle (angieelle) | 602 comments Since I'm not reading nearly enough books right now, I decided to toss Unleashed (Ross Siblings, #1) by Cherrie Lynn into the mix.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Angie, have you read Ghost and Macy's book?

You're welcome Regina and Leea. I didn't plan on liking this one as much as I did but it really worked for me. My only one gripe (other than some editing issues and bad terms) was that it could have been a little shorter. The book was long for having that much sex.

message 7694: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) I agree. It is long and needs some editing. I spotted the typos. I am still loving it though. But this story doesn't need this many pages. The first half did - I loved the slow build. But now I am at 70%. I sorta felt like from 50 to 70% could have used editing down. But I still really like it. :)

message 7695: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) I never read #1 in that series, but I did enjoy Rock Me (Ross Siblings, #2) by Cherrie Lynn

I haven't, but I've read some excerpts and I think it's going to be smokin' hot! I think I might reread Rock Me after this and then Leave Me Breathless.

I liked both your reviews of book one. Don't want to read further in reviews because going to def read the series. Thanks for the recommend!

I wasn't a fan of Unleashed either. I usually tell people to read Rock Me and Leave Me Breathless instead, since those are both great and nothing like Unleashed.

message 7700: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) I followed Stacia's advice. :)
