Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I love how the guy is all : I WILL HAVE YOU, I WILL MARK YOU...GRRRRRRR

And the chick is all : I'M GOING TO FIGHT YOU EVERY SINGLE STEP OF THE WAY.

And then they have wrestling matches. ;)

Plus, the biting/marking thing *fan self* yum.

Regina (reginar) She only just wrote tony and Adam last year. So I am guessing timing is everything. :)

message 7603: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) I have the audio of Unraveling, I keep meaning to read it. I also have the audio of Cut & Run -- which should I do first?

I love the cover for the Murmings, too bad it isn't good!

Leea, I took a break from Garden due to emotional, I do plan to return. I absolutely love your review - adn the picture!

Hel-lo! What book is this?

message 7605: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) I finished Running Scared (Sentinel Wars, #3) by Shannon K. Butcher -- it isn't the best or the steamiest pnr but I do like it. I am definitely reading on in the series. The world is really interesting.

Now I just need to pick a book to read before I hit the train. There is a blizzard going on here! So hoping I get home.

I am almost done with Warm Bodies (Warm Bodies, #1) by Isaac Marion and I am liking it more and more. The depth of this book is amazing.

Stacia what book? Sorry I missed that ...

I can't wait to get to this one. It looks so good.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) It's this book. Feral Sins (The Phoenix Pack, #1) by Suzanne Wright

Or this book. Feral Sins (The Phoenix Pack, # 1) by Suzanne Wright

I'm not sure what version I have. The one with the wolf has an orgy scene that some people don't like. The newer version does not have the orgy.

The book is very cheese erotica in parts, so it's more erotic pnr than pnr. But I'm having a lot of fun with it anyway, which has surprised the heck out of me, given that most romance/erotic books have frustrated me lately!

message 7610: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) Is it this one? Feral Sins (The Phoenix Pack, #1) by Suzanne Wright -- that looks REALLY good.

message 7611: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) Hmm, it is amazong prime free I may snag that one right now.

message 7612: by Regina (last edited Mar 05, 2013 02:29PM) (new)

Regina (reginar) I want to read the one with an orgy! LOL, sorry but if I am going to go all out and read a chessy PNR erotica I want to go full force. Where would I find the orgy one? LOL.

Sometimes the cheesiest pnr makes me happy. Like this series, I have a lot of fun with it:

Sleeping With the Wolf (After the Crash #1) by Maddy Barone Wolf's Glory (After the Crash #2) by Maddy Barone Sherry's Wolf (After the Crash #3.5) by Maddy Barone Wolf Tracker (After the Crash #3) by Maddy Barone Eddie's Prize (After the Crash #4) by Maddy Barone

message 7613: by Leea (new)

Leea Ohhh, free... off I go :) Might read that tonight before Raid tomorrow ;)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Yes, that's the one. I'm happy to see that Guild Wars is working out for you. I have this massively long list of series that I need to get back to and that series has been taunting me.

Warm Bodies is definitely a unique book.

I have no clue if you should do Cut & Run or Unraveling first, since I haven't read C&R yet. It probably depends what kind of mood you're in? Unraveling is more of a fun adventure type book (which was fitting my mood so perfectly right now - it's exactly what I was wanting), so if you want steam, then it looks like C&R might be your thing.

message 7615: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) Amazon prime free -- sorry if that wasn't clear. eek.

Seriously, it's got cheese in spades. I laughed my ass off when he was talking about how much he needed to cum inside of her.

But for whatever reason, I'm finding it pretty darn hot too. I like his talk and his forcefulness. It would probably bug the hell out of me if she was one of those heroines who allowed it, but because they're doing this dance of "yes I will, NO you won't," I think it's not bothering me. She's giving it right back to him. Which makes it rewarding when she allows him to make any advances.

For some reason, it strikes me as very wolf-ish.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Leea wrote: "Ohhh, free... off I go :) Might read that tonight before Raid tomorrow ;)"

I'll email you.

message 7618: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) I think I want to read this. I love wovles and my fave pnr is with werewolves. So I am guessing (seriously, you all are avoiding my question, lol, j/k) the orgy one is no longer accessible?

message 7619: by Leea (new)

Leea Regina wrote: "Amazon prime free -- sorry if that wasn't clear. eek."

I share prime with my hubby's account but it wont let me get it for free... i'll have him check when he gets home.

Ummm... I want the orgy one too. duhhh! lol!

message 7620: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) Haha! I guess that explains why we all like to chat.

I think you need to sign in as him on your kindle -- just sharing prime won't get you the free videos or books (I think). So you would unregister your kindle from you, and register it under his account.

message 7621: by Leea (new)

Leea I have to be careful because one time I was logged in as him and got a fee erotica and it went to his Kindle Fire and he was pissed... it was funny.

Thanks ladies, i'm going to start this in a few.

Angie I am listening to the audio version, and it is done really well. It took me awhile to accept that the main character was a gross zombie. But it has such beautiful writing.

Kay (calikay) | 1216 comments Leea wrote: "Hahaha!

I finished Garden of Stones by Sophie Littlefield and it was very good. Not what I expected but very good and sad...

Kay and Regina, are you ladies still reading?"

I'm taking my time. I've just been reading a few chapters a day. I really nervous about the topic so each page I turn scares me. LOL

message 7624: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) That IS funny Leea.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) That is hilarious, Leea.

I'm curious if the newer version would be better (if I have the older version) because the book is really long and there are some editing errors here and there.

Kay, you can do it! I should probably check that book out sometime when I'm in a serious mood.

message 7626: by Kay (new)

Kay (calikay) | 1216 comments I'm not a kindle owner but have amazon prime. For some reason, it won't let me borrow it through the kindle for desktop. Boo! Oh wells...maybe this is a clue that I will need to get a Kindle when my Nook breaks.

Stacia...Garden of Stones is pretty serious. I'm doing my best. LOL

message 7627: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) It is because they limit it to people who own devices. :(

Regina (reginar) I wonder how influential people like Brockmann and JR Ward were/are in making people more comfortable with m/m.

message 7630: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) I bet a lot. The little bit we got with Qhuinn and Blay was my first foray into M/M. Now M/M books are some of my favorite.

message 7631: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) i wish we got more of them. I really liked Adam and Tony a lot.

message 7632: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) I think you are right. I need to read Headed for Trouble (Troubleshooters #16.5) by Suzanne Brockmann , I got the arc from Edelweiss - but I think it has some m/m shorts. I am not sure though.

She used to have a ton of free shorts on her website and have pdf booklets of shorts available for free download, but I think her publisher made her take it down.

message 7633: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) It sounds like it might.

message 7634: by Leea (new)

Leea I can't wait to read more Troubleshooter books. I'm just nervous because then Wendy and I have to find another series to buddy read :)

Wendy, have you read the In Death series yet? There are 36 books in that series. haha!

hahaha, yep, sorry! I've read 29 of them. I have a few on my book shelf to pick up and get back into them. I love that series. It's a long time favorite of mine. I started reading them like 15 years ago. They're always consistently good, and I love all of the characters.

I'm really liking it 14% in chap 4. Why is claiming one with the mate bond so damn hot?

message 7640: by Angie Elle (new)

Angie Elle (angieelle) | 602 comments I need a new selection process for what to read. So many books I've read lately have been 'blah.' I'm in the middle of Come Away With Me (With Me in Seattle, #1) by Kristen Proby , and I am having such a hard time picking it back up.

message 7641: by Regina (new)

Angie Elle (angieelle) | 602 comments Regina wrote: "Angie which ones were meh?"

Exquisite (Exquisite, #1) by Ella Frank , A Lady Awakened (Blackshear Family, #1) by Cecilia Grant , Wait for You by J. Lynn , and so far Come Away With Me (With Me in Seattle, #1) by Kristen Proby is too cutesy for me.

I thought so... I would say i'll catch up to you but, damn girl that's a lot of books. haha!

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Finished The Indigo Spell (Bloodlines, #3) by Richelle Mead (finally) and it was a lot of fun. Now I can read the other Mead book without guilty feelings of cheating on one of her books with another.

Leea, the biting was way hot. I have no clue why I found it to be so hot, but then (view spoiler)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Hot Ticket was yummy. I liked Jace's book a LOT more than I expected to.

message 7646: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) Lol Leea!

I am enjoying Feral Sins.

message 7647: by Regina (last edited Mar 06, 2013 04:55AM) (new)

Regina (reginar) I like the tone of the book and the set up. It is intresting b/c I have read 2 books in the past year about a female werewolf who couldn't shift:

Fractured Moon (Steel #1) by E.R. Pierce Silver by Rhiannon Held and Fractured Moon and Feral Sins were published within days of each other! And since Silver was mainstream published, presumably it had been written and submitted to the publisher before that (although it was released a few months after Fractured Moon and Feral Sins). Just interesting that all 3 had this theme.

Have any of you read this theme before? (a were wolf who can't shift?)

It is in Wolf Tracker (After the Crash #3) by Maddy Barone -- a little but it is a male character and not in the same way.

message 7648: by Regina (last edited Mar 06, 2013 05:02AM) (new)

Regina (reginar) Sometime today, probably this morning, I will be starting the audio book of A Summer in Sonoma by Robyn Carr for a challenge. I needed a book cover with green and it needed to be an audio book. This Carr book does not get great ratings to it will be interesting -- it is not a series so I am not starting a Carr series without you Leea!

message 7649: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) I am loving Feral Sins. I want to read and not work. It reminds me of the song the Maroon 5 song One More Night.

message 7650: by Leea (new)

Leea You had me worried there! Haha!

I'm 36% into feral sins... Dude these two are going to explode and I can wait!!
