What Are You Reading Now?

I really like this series. I still have to read the 3rd book."
Want to read with? I plan to read the other two after this one. Miss reading with you! :)

Marcella, thanks for the TMI link. It actually looks better than I thought it would.
I decided to read

Anyone watching Breaking Dawn tonight? I'm catching the 10pm PST showing. I can't wait!!

I decided to read

No...but I already have my ticket for the 11:45 a.m. showing for Saturday!

DG, I love Kate & Curran! That series has really grown on me.

Hey Kay!
I had tix for BD but had to cancel because my friend's sister is having surgery, waiting for her to go see it. Can't wait!

Hey DG!!
I felt the same way. I love them and can't wait for the next book to come out.

I am so glad you loved this series! :-) I am interested to see what you think about gunmetal magic. I loved 1-5 of Kate, but was soso about gunmetal magic.

It looks good! I hope my 13 year old will want to go with me, but I bet she will want to go with a friend.

I'm sad, too. I'm hoping I don't cry! Yes, I love Edward and Bella's love story that much. LOL

Yes, do :) It's a quick read and really fun.

I think I might crash this book reading party if it's OK. I checked out the first book and they look really good.

Do it... do it... Angie, I hope you like the first book and we can all read together - How fun!

This is definitely the best UF series out there. I like the gore and how the supernaturals are so freaking frightening. And I want to be Kate when I grow up. When she kicked that door, I almost starting clapping in the subway!
I got Gunmetal Magic in audio today but I want to try and make some headway in some of my other series.

Do it... do it... Angie, I hope you like the first book and we can all read together - How fun!"
OK. You convinced me. ;)
So...everyone is starting book two now? Is that where we are at?

Starting

I am a fangirl! An older one, but a fangirl nonetheless! LOL

It really is hella good. The ending is different from the book but so well executed! This is probably my fave movie out of the 5.
Angie, I'm an older fan girl myself. Even though I now realize that the books aren't as good as I thought they were, I'm thankful that these books got me back to reading again and then finding so many better books afterwards.

A lot different? I have a vague memory of how it ended, I wonder if i'll notice.

I love contemps that do really good character development, but I do find them few and far between. Some good contemporaries for me have been the entire Virgin River series, the Troubleshooters series starting with book 3+++, and Easy.

I did really enjoy the first in the Destiny series and I am enjoying the second so far, but those are much lighter.

Suzanne Brockmann has another Navy Seal series you might want to try if you liked the Troubleshooters. I can't remember what they are called, but the first one is Frisco's Kid. I've heard they're very good.

I'm going to start

I need an UF... Might also start

Do it... do it... Angie, I hope you like the first book and we can all read together - How fun!"
I am about a quarter of the way through the first one and I love it so far! My library had it available for electronic loan. They didn't have the next two in that format. I have to wait for them to come from through interlibrary loan until I can read them. That's going to be a pain since I think I am going to finish this one tonight and am in a book buying freeze.

Saw it! Loved it!

Yes, I was a beta reader for Anita, so perhaps I'm a tiny bit prejudiced. But I think even she'd tell you that I'm not an easy reader - LOL!
I'm really impressed with the final product! And it's a great way to get into the Highland Warrior series. If you've already read books 1 & 2, this is a nice, meaty "appetizer" to hold you over until the next Warrior book (#3) comes out sometime in 2013 (I think).
The book tells the back story of the yummy Highland warrior, Faelan Connor, who is awakened in the 1st book by Bree - is she or isn't she Faelan's mate? Since warriors can only marry within the warrior clans and mates are generally "fated", will Bree face heartbreak for falling for this alpha-male, luscious Highland warrior in a kilt? A warrior who fights demons, halflings, vampires, and other evil things that go bump in the night?
