The Colorado Mountain series is not as funny as Rock Chicks but it still has its hilarious moments. I LOL a few times.

Hey ladies this is completely off topic but if anyone of you are interested in going to Hawaii American Airlines has flights for cheap. My sis and I are planning a trip for next April and the tickets are less than $300. The tickets are $200 if you plan to leave on a Thursday. My sis and I are spending about 7 days in Honolulu since there is more to do there and we are taking her boys. The last two days we are staying on Maui.

I know. I don't mind minor plot spoilers because it's hard to avoid some small details, but lately people have been putting massively big reveals in their reviews.

I think I'll read it at some point. The book's sitting on my reader just waiting for when I'm in the mood to deal with drama and potential heartbreak.

Just finished and I really liked this one. I think the idea of two people sharing one body and having one mind be the dominant/controlling person is an interesting idea.

I also read a freebie erotic short last night (can't remember the name, I'll have to look it up later) that was about a training school for submissives and I enjoyed it quite a bit, even though it seemed far-fetched in places. I'm debating if I want to purchase the next story to see what happens now.

Marcella - have you tried using Kayak.com.com to check your flights? It's like a search engine for flights and it will give you all sorts of different options.

Read a quickie erotic last night and it was nice sex-wise (liked that it was f-m-f instead of the usual m-f-m) but I'm not a fan of HEA menage. Not sure why, but I'd rather it be a fling instead of a permanent thing.

I'm working my way through Deanna Raybourn's Lady Julia series. It's really good, but kind of infuriating! It drove me to jump back into Lee Child's Jack Reacher series! After that I will be ready to go back and read book 4,

Yesterday I finished reading by John Steinbeck. It's an extremely short but nevertheless fantastic novel. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. The ending is so incredibly moving that I cried while reading it. I truly can't recommend this novel enough. John Steinbeck is an excellent author (and one of my favourite writers)!

Today I've started reading by Jay Asher.

I like the menage HEAs, if they are done well. I have had that one on my radar for awhile. So you all might find this funny.

I know my personal saga has just been annoying, it seems never ending. My husband is highly improved! He can even ride a bike now and he can almost completely bend his knee. He is at 130 degrees and I believe a complete bend is 150 degrees. He still has pain and discomfort but hopefully that will end with time. Then there has been my job stress, which keeps getting worse. So last week, I was so stressed I couldn't eat or sleep. Okay, here is the funny part -- you likely all remember my rant against Alpha men who force women to sleep. LOL. Well that was my husband all last week. He would actually show up at work (not an easy thing to do as we live in the burbs and I work in the City) to take me to lunch, he would fix my favorite meals and force me to sit down, I would be pacing and he would force me to sit next to him and rest and sleep. I definitely saw the irony in him doing all this, which I loved and appreciated -- and then me hating that theme in books. :) LOL. He just texted me in fact and said -- what are you eating for lunch?

Okay. So I read in about 3 hours last night and absoltuely LOVED LOVED LOVED it! OMG I devoured that book and wow Lucas (say no more) is damned hot. What other books are like this book? Keeping in mind I am not a fan of Travis (in Beautiful Disaster) type heroes?? Thank you ladies for putting this book on my radar!

I am reading right now and it is so good. I am loving it. :) Leea, the heroine is a niece of Jack and Brie and the hero is a Riordan brother. :) And of course the heroine stays in that little cabin in the woods/clearing that Mel first stayed at way back when. :D

It feels so good to be reading two books I am in to. I think sweet romance was exactly what I needed.

What other sweet romance with really good character development and sexy heroes (but not over controlling, etc) should I put on my TBR?

I'm glad things are improving on the home front, Regina. :) LOL on your husband checking on you to eat and sleep! I think it's different when somebody who knows you well pushes you when you need it. I wouldn't definitely take a controlling attitude from a boyfriend!

My husband is like that - always checking if I've eaten, slept, etc. We used to fight about that because I hated it but then when he didn't do it, I missed the attention (it's nice to have a husband to give you massages when you're tired or cook meals daily.) But then he told me he either could turn that off or on but that he couldn't be in the middle. So I've learned to live with it and now it doesn't bother me as much.

Is it closer to BD because of the drama or because of the boy issues? The reason I had to DNF BD was due to how controlling Travis was and I couldn't handle the girls hating each other (yes I am super sensitive). I am okay with drama but not the other.

I really liked the BTL series but it may not be for everyone. The first book was a little fluffy but I grew to love Graham in the second book because he's a well-written beta male.

I haven't read anything today. I was with my friend while she had her baby. Always an amazing experience and one I will never forget. So glad Molly is here, happy and healthy.

Were you her doula/labor assistant/support? That is so exciting!!!

Support, I wasn't in the room for the 10 min and 5 times it took to pop out Molly but I was there before and after. We had a blast and it was an amazing experience.

Molly is an eater, she was nursing for an hour and a half and still going strong when I had to leave.
