HAHAHA! The best part is I instantly see the video in my head, them lined up on the steps and Jordan in his overalls! Oop, now I'm singing!

Also, in my mailbox today....I just have to share: http://instagr.am/p/LT77uEs_SN/

That is awesome!! I really hope they make On the Island into a movie because she's a wonderful author, nice and kind and deserves all the recognition.
My BF is having more problems with her pregnancy, I cleaned her house earlier and made them dinner but not long after I left she had what she thought was amniotic fluid leak out. She's currently 25 weeks pregnant and on bed rest because she's in pre-term labor. She's at the hospital right now and i'm a mess. Waiting to hear if I need to rush out there or if everything is okay. Thus, I wont be reading much tonight.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. Sending prayers your way & I hope the baby can hold on as long as possible. I know how nerve wracking it must be. My best friend also had fluid leaking slowly at 26 weeks. They kept her in the hospital until 32 weeks. Then she delivered at 36 weeks. So it turned out ok. Let's hope the same for your friend.

I don't remember. I probably should read books one and two over before continuing on because it's been so long, but I doubt I will. One of my friends just finished book 5 and was very excited about it. Her review made me excited to go back to the books.
Leea, hopefully they can get it under control. Let us know how it goes with her.

Wasn't he an orphan taken from a school? That is what I remember ..... (but I could be making this up)

They're realeasing her. It was a false alarm, thank God. I have been a mess for 4 hrs. I have a bag packed for the night for me and the boys and have cried so much. I need a drink! I'm so glad she's okay.
My response to stress: clean, eat, stomp around the house
My friend Sofia's response to stress: she made a skirt. HUH?

That's too funny!"
I think it's funny too. She's my crafty friend, who knits, makes amazing jewelry. I'm a wreck and she makes a skirt. She kills me!

I love that about you :)

What did you like about it? I keep hearing people compare it to Fifty books.
Yay! Regina! Not sure why i'm so excited for a Troubleshooter book when i'm just to book 4. lol! I guess it just means more to love :) Hope you got all your time sheets done.
I started

Those Rome books have the most beautiful covers.

Of course we like/need to share other stuff. No need to be sorry (from my perspective).

I barely made a dent into Ch 2 of

No worries, the kids are home and we're off doing stuff all day then swimming in the evening. I've had like no time to read.

Hope you like Locke, Stacia. I loved the book :)

BTW, there's something strange with that cover.

Leea swimming in the evening soundsd like so much fun.
Tonight is a very contentious tball game for my son. I know that sounds ridiculous. It is the two best tball teams in the league and they have been for the past few years, plus all the kids on both teams go to the same school. My son's team has won the championship for the past 3 years with the other team always in 2nd place. So that is what we will be doing this evening. Plus my oldest has tryouts for her traveling soccer team, she is super nervous. It is the last day of school for my 3 oldest and then my oldest (Gabriela) has two slumber parties this weekend. She will basically be gone from this evening until Sunday morning! I never would have thought when my kids were younger how much I would miss them when they were gone on sleepovers.

That series was strange for me. I first read it years ago, before it was changed and re-published to actually be a series(it couldn't before because she had different publishers and couldn't use the same characters), and this version is much better than the last, or at least it felt like it. The second and third books were changed A LOT, even the character issues and the plot, while the first was jut buffed up.

Sleepovers. How fun! The boys want to do one with the neighbor kids and I would be comfortable with that because if they want to come home or need me at all i'm just next door.
Good luck at the game tonight :)
It was in the upper 90's here yesterday but today it looks like 82. It's strange weather. We going to pack (well, I will haha) a picnic dinner and eat at the pool. It's fun and we might meet some friends up there.
Our last Tball game is tomorrow and I'm so excited for it all to be done. I know that sounds bad but dang these parents are just so demanding. Texting me all the time and not showing up to work the snack bar. I just want my team mom duties to be done. Soccer starts in a few weeks and Jims coaching our youngest team (4 year olds) so, I guess i'll be team mom again. Then in the fall, Jim will coach our oldest soccer team. He can't do both at the same time because they often play at the same time.

That dinner at the pool sounds heavenly.

Remember I live in a small town, we don't even have a Gap. lol!

Leea...you live in Stockton, right? For some reason, I thought Stockton was kind of big. At least bigger than Lodi and those other small towns.

Soccer in the summer sounds great. Here, all the sports are during school. It makes it difficult.

Thank you for letting me know, really. When they move up into the competitive league, we'll make sure and ask.
I love GAP!! It sucks, they closed ours last year and now I have to drive an hour to get a damn tshirt. **vent done** Those dang email sales they keep sending me are like tourture. lol!

I live in the suburbs, in a small town. The population is about 61k. There are hardly any chain restaurants and a lot of small business owners. But living in the Bay Area doesn't make me feel like I live in a small town since there are so many surrounding cities....San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland, Berkeley are all relatively close.
But living around/in Stockton, I can just imagine how you feel at times, Leea. I lived in Merced for a couple of years in my teens. I hated it! I had to drive to Fresno or Modesto for everything (and that wasn't even much)!

Team MOMS unite!! Yeah, no one responds to my emails. Don't think it's anything you are doing wrong Kay. We have to work in the snack bar as part of our agreement with the league and It's like pulling teeth to get those parents to do it. I've already worked twice and looks like i'll be doing it again tomorrow. I kept asking for parents to help me do snack this last game and no one responded. So, I just went and got snacks at Target.
Yeah, I live in stockton and it's a lot larger than Lodi but we have so much crime and the economy hit here so bad that I'm very limited in where I am willing to take my kids. Meaning I now live in a bubble and it really sucks. I live in the nicest part of stockton, but we even get problems here. Every government agency, Police, fire ets are so overwhelmed it's just sad. I feel like Stockton gets such a bad wrap and I understand that but there are so many good families here. I love the looks I get when people learn I live here. It's like 'Ohhh, you live in Stockton?" LOL!

I've only just made it past the prologue (Lies of Locke Lamora) and it was confusing at first but I think I'm really going to like the book once it gets going.
At first, I wasn't sure how the thiefmaker was managing to get his team of boys, but I think I have it all figured out now.
Finished

Regina, I love how you referred to where you live as a village. That sounds so quaint and homey, in a good way.

Not sure why I'm all upset we don't have a Gap, I never go shopping anyways. Target, Grocery store and farmers market. That's about it. LAME!

Kay, you are very correct about the proximity of chicago and the burbs for shopping. My community sounds like yours, we have more local stuff but that is good. When ever I want though I can shoot on out to the huge malls. Kay, honeslty when you mention those other cities nearby -- it sounds heavenly. I know what you mean about it not being small but is small.
Leea, I googled Stockton and read some details on wikipedia -- there were parts that sounded sad and reinforced what you have always said about it. It does sound though that you have sliced out a nice group of friends and neighbors.
That is so frustrating about snacks, I honestly have never experienced that. I am so sorry ladies - - that is too much.
Stacia, I am watching closely to see what you think of Locke Lord, I can't wait to find time to read it (I own both the audio and kindle versions -- I want both on blog raffles, I need to read them!)
I don't know if I like or don't like the cover of Weekends Required. Part of me thinks it is sweet, but then part of me thinks it looks awkward the way he is reaching back with his head -- anyone else? I am sure you were respectful. Did the other people like it?

We never go to gap either. But .... in a bind it is nice to be able to run there and get a nice shirt if needed. Target is two 'burbs over. I personally hate to go there, it is so crowded.
