Kay, what are you going to read next. I really want to read Kristen Ashley's The Burg series. I've heard great things.

Stacia, I really liked The Raven Prince. That author writes really hot & sensual love scenes.

Raven Prince has been on TBR list for a very long time. Sorry, i'm not much help.

As to Elizabeth Hoyt, I preferred her Prince series to the Soldiers one.
Hope that helps:)

The Burg is my favorite series by her. It's darker and has more pain and suffering... But the humor remains and the men are still hot. For me it was a good combo :)

I'm liking

Also, I don't trust Kyol. A man who strings along a woman for 10 years is not honorable and she should have realized that and moved on. I could understand how she made that mistake at 16 but at 26 she should know better and get a life.

Now that I am more into Shadow Reader, I don't think it is similar to Dark Swan, although I only read #1. I am liking Shadow Reader alot more than Dark Swan.

I didn't see any similiarities, other than that it involved angels.

Oh you are in a for a ride!!

LOl, I should have kept reading before I posted. :D I agree.

I agree it was naive, although she was only a teenager - -and it sounds like she was really sheltered. When I was reading it, I kept thinking -- maybe she is insane and this is all in her head? LOL>

LOL, Regina! That would be a good twist. :)
It made sense that she would believe all that non sense when she was 16 but she should know better now, specially when they didn't let her learn the language!

Oh good. I didn't really like the Dark Swan series. I love Mead! Just didn't connect with Eug.
I can't wait!

I should look up which books Kristen Ashely wrote first? Her writing improved from the Colorado Mountain Series to Dream Man.

I've read The Raven Prince, which I loved. Like DG, I really wasn't into Lord Ian and I didn't continue reading anymore of the series. However, I do like the authors Shifters series.

LMAO! I really needed this laugh this morning since my Friday morning felt more like a Monday one. I was running all over the place trying to get the kids ready.

Stacia you are farther in than me. We have sports games every night -- 2 a night right now and I am going home and doing more work afterward, so my reading time has been limited.

Everything I learn about Kyol makes me more suspicious of his motives. (view spoiler)

Sports are in full swing here. At least the boys are on the same team this year. The weekends are busier than the weeknights. My one son wants to start swimming and when I said, sure. My husband said I was a glutton for punishment. lol! Soccer is coming...
I haven't been able to read much at all this week. I do hope to still start Shadow Reader today, i'm way behind.

9:00 tball for my #2 son
9:00 religious ed for my #3 daughter
1:00 tball for my #3 daughter
2:00 piano for my #1 daughter
3:30 piano for my #3 duaughter
4:00 traveling soccer game for my #1 daughter (an hour away -- so that means I am taking #3 to piano by bike)
Sunday:
10:30 husband soccer game
11:45 #1 softball pictures
12:00 #1 traveling soccer warmup
12:30 #1 traveling soccer game
12:30 #3 tball pictures
2:00 #1 traveling soccer team meeting
2:00 #2 tball pictures
3:00 #2 tball game
3:00 #2 tball game
Tired just from reading? 3 softball/tball teams -- 2 games each a week; 1 traveling soccer team -- 1 to 2 games a week; 1 adult soccer team. Plus religious ed for two kids, plus 1st communion classes for 1 kid (luckily both religious ed and 1st communion classes end next week); piano for 3 kids. I cannot wait until the middle of June. This stuff happens every night/day of the week. My husband and I are constantly consulting the calendar. mid-April to mid-June is horrible. This never happens any other time of the year. Then add in birthday parties and shopping for those friend presents. End of year presents for the teachers. Just kill me. Please.
In two years both #3 and #4 will be on the same tball team, it will happen only once ever. They will also be on the same fall soccer team that year. I will love that year.

Regina, that's a killer schedule. How many teams are you team mom or your husband helping. That's what makes it harder, when you coach to team or are team mom/dad becaues you can't just sit there and enjoy the game. Well, that's at least my experience.
The boys need swim lessons this summer and Garrett (4) wants to be on a swim team. We have a swim team for our neighborhood, so he can just swim at the oclub. Ethan want to play hockey - Kill me, lol!
I want to personally join a softball team but there is just no time left. I miss it so much.

This year we are "only" coaching one team. Come fall, I will coach a soccer team and my husband will coach two teams. Next spring, he likely is going to be coaching two teams - - one baseball and one tball.
Very cool you have a neighborhood pool.

I don't know how you guys do it with multiple kids.

We use Cozi.com, family planning cal. It's awesome! You can even have texts/email sent to members of the family with updates.

I will wait to talk about the rest of book until you guys are done. I hustled to finish up today because we have plans for tonight and part of tomorrow. Most of my thoughts about the main points of the book are written down already though, so I can reference what I was thinking if I forget too soon (which I do sometimes, it's sad).

Stacia I just do it! I don't know any better!

Remember though, I don't have to cook or shop for food. That is a huge thing. My husband does all of that. And during these months, we really just surrender the house to chaos. There is nothing super about me -- but hey, I'll take it!

I do the same thing. I love being part boys school and sports. A few friends keep enouraging me to be on the PTA board. You know I wont hold out for long, lol! We had to stop doing our marriage class at our church because our Wed. night we're too full. I forgot we're going to an A's baseball game Sunday. haha!

I don't think so at all. My house is a mess!"
So is mine. haha! It's me against 3... I never win.
I agree, just give into the madness and drink lots of coffee and wine ;)

My husband will buy me Starbucks gift cards... I don't want diamonds or expensive shoes...nope just coffee. lol!

Oh, we almost bought tix through our league since it's Little League Day with the A's. I just didn't think we'd be able to do the chalk talk at 8:30am and then the parade later before the game. It would be too hard with holding the baby the whole time. I hope you have fun!! It should be lots of fun.

Did anyone else see the news story about Starbucks using ground up bugs for the pink coloring in their Strawberry Frappuccinos?
