Leea Grab it and read it with us :)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) When are you doing it?

message 8103: by Leea (last edited Apr 01, 2013 10:54PM) (new)

Leea No clue... up to you and Regina. haha! Lie Still's pub date in July 9th so we have time

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) It might have to be a couple of weeks but I'd be game.

Wait, are you meaning Lie Still or Dirty Little Secret?

message 8105: by Leea (new)

Leea Both... haha!

message 8106: by Lori (new)

Lori (lorimcd) Fever (Breathless, #2) by Maya Banks the 2nd book Maya Banks' Breathless trilogy hit at 12:01a. (Did I mention how much I love living in PDT? I get the books at 9:01p!)

Anyway... it looks like a fairly predictable storyline, but I can't help it. I'm hooked on this series. Hoping that this book will have a few twists and turns.

Kay - What great pix! Looks like a great trip - thanks for sharing.

message 8107: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) It was Lie Still. :)

Sorry crazy busy at work and traveling all week -- hope I can get online at the airport. :)

message 8108: by Angie Elle (new)

Angie Elle (angieelle) | 602 comments I'm reading Own the Wind (Chaos, #1) by Kristen Ashley .

message 8109: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) I should say I finished Eyes of Silver, Eyes of Gold by Ellen O'Connell and loved it. Absolutely loved it.

I started Cara McKenna's new one (writing as Meg Maguire) Thank You for Riding (Strangers on a Train) by Meg Maguire -- which is a short story. And also Wicked Cravings (The Phoenix Pack, #2) by Suzanne Wright

message 8110: by Kay (new)

Kay (calikay) | 1216 comments Thanks, Lori!

I'm currently reading The Big Smoke by Cally Jackson and will most likely read Love Irresistibly by Julie James afterwards.

Regina, I'm glad you really enjoyed Eyes of Silver. Let us know how the Meg Maguire book goes.

message 8111: by Angie Elle (last edited Apr 02, 2013 11:15AM) (new)

Angie Elle (angieelle) | 602 comments I loved it, too, Regina. Granted I've only read two, but that one was my favorite. I want to read Sing My Name by Ellen O'Connell next.

message 8112: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) Me too! When? :D

LOL...when is a good time for you? I LOVE buddy reads!

message 8114: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) Maybe next week? Does that work?

So I read Thank You for Riding (Strangers on a Train) by Meg Maguire while I was flying and it is really good. It is very short (about 1200 locations for kindle owners), but like most of Cara McKenna's books the characters are well developed. The banter is really witty and funny and the build up is great. In a way it is like Hearts in Darkness by Laura Kaye - I don't want to give away why it is, but basically it is the meeting of two people who are hot for each other and that is where the similarity is -- the novella tracks their attraction. The hero and heroine are really likable - -neither has baggage, they are just normal people. It is really steamy, but there is only one scene where the couple comes together - -it is graphic though. :D

for some reason that series (as described in the blurb) wasn't appealing to me. I tend not to go for billionaire heroes though. I look forward to your review to change my mind. :)

I'll be keeping tabs on the thread. Kay has mentioned several times that Lorraine Heath's historical westerns are very good.

I'll look at the thread but you have to read Lorraine Heath... she's a must read. Kay turned me on to her WR books and they're honestly the best.

Marcella (marcella6) | 886 comments I finally finished Lover At Last (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #11) by J.R. Ward . I enjoyed it for the most part but I wanted more Qhuinn and Blay.

message 8128: by Tellulah (new)

Tellulah Darling (tellulahdarling) Read Touch & Geaux (Cut & Run #7) by Abigail Roux which is book 7 in the Cut & Run series. Hot and angsty. I'm still enjoying the series.

message 8131: by Lori (new)

Lori (lorimcd) Finished Click - fun, easy read - contemporary romance. The book's format is all about the emails... and sometimes that was irritating. But it's a cute book.

Also finished Maya Bank's Fever (Breathless, #2) by Maya Banks , 2nd in the Breathless series. Not as good as Maya and Gabe's story. And this one was, sadly, completely predictable. But it was a decent read. For whatever reason, I wasn't all hot-and-bothered like I usually am with her books. Not sure about the chemistry between the 2 main characters. It's supposed to an almost instant obsession, but... I didn't quite feel it.

Back into Suzanne B's Troubleshooters 4 Out of Control (Troubleshooters, #4) by Suzanne Brockmann AND LOVING IT!

message 8135: by Angie Elle (new)

Angie Elle (angieelle) | 602 comments Yes, Kenny 'Wild Card' Carmody. I can't remember how to spell his name, but that one was my favorite. And I was suprised, because I remember thinking...a jungle? Really? LOL SB really gets it done!

message 8136: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) Haha. She really does. :)

message 8137: by Regina (new)
