Kay, I didn't read all the entries in-between, but Julia Quinn is one of 3 writers who took turns writing a story called

Now i'm taking a break from the Troubleshooter series to read

I cannot wait to continue the Troubleshooter series and read Jones/Molly and Max and Gina's stories.

And then I'm super excited for 9. Max and Gina and Molly and Jones are my two favorite couples so far.

I'm so glad you like it! I think The Rake was my favorite of the three. :)
Her Griffin Family series is really good, too!

i felt the same way about this one when i read it. actually the only one i really enjoyed from this trilogy was The Raven Prince

Thanks! I was wondering about these books before. I'll have to check it out!

Hey Kay! Any suggestions for a historical romance for me to read? :)

You'll have to let me know how Cottage is. I picked that up as a freebie a long time ago and never got around to reading it.

I ranted...
and ranted...

Is it too much to ask for a fun piratey kidnap book? Gah. It was so wrong, on so many levels. Rapey - rapey - rapey. And the only reason why I kept reading was because I was laughing so hard and having to update my progress with quotes that were beyond belief.

i know that you liked Heath's westerns....so how about her regency novel

There's also

A couple humorous regency novels

A cute Highlander romance that I enjoyed was

I hope one of these suggestions will fit your mood!

Leea, I really enjoyed the Sterling Trilogy by Samantha James.

I need to get to this one. I started this when it first came out but couldn't get over the first 2 chapters. It could have been my mood though.

What do you have in mind?

I'm hoping to find something like The Travis' series by Kleypas or books by Julie James. I've been having a hard time.

Have you read Heartbreaker by Julie Garwood, Kay?

I haven't read that one yet. Is it a novel where suspense is the main focus and the romance is secondary? Or is it romance with suspenseful elements?

Ooops...sorry, Kay. I forgot you didn't want suspense. I think it was more romance, but I read it a long time ago, so I can't be sure. Sorry. :(

I still need to read Mr. Real. I got the galley and it's just sitting on my reader. Strange coincidence that I'm reading

I'd heard that

I haven't read Laura Kaye's two new in her series -- I don't know if they are as good as Hearts in Darkness:

I haven't read any of Garwood's contemporaries yet. Thanks for the suggestion, Angie.

I liked the second book of this series

A few friends of mine liked
