Leea Finished Heaven and Hell (Heaven and Hell, #1) by Kristen Ashley and it was so good. KA writes amazing epilogues, gives you everything you want.

Now i'm about 20% into Highlander Most Wanted (The Montgomerys and Armstrongs, #2) by Maya Banks and it's already sad but I have hope for lots of Happy :)

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Haha...I will say it also! WENDY YOU NEED TO READ IT! LOL

message 6261: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) Kay and Angie, I like your new profile pictures. ;)

I loved Blood & Starlight. The narration for the audio is amazing.

Leea and Wendy, how are you liking Highlander Most wanted?

Angie how are you liking Dark Lover? I love that series, but Dark Lover is my 2nd least favorite. I liked it when I read it -- but #2 is so much better.

I am enjoying Shoulda Been a Cowboy (Rough Riders, #7) by Lorelei James , nothing new. Good characater development. I of course have trouble keeping all the past characters straight. ;) No threesomes so far!

I am traveling again tomorrow -- flying to Texarkana (the dry town, lol) and I won't be coming home until my birthday on Thursday night.

Kay (calikay) | 1216 comments Regina wrote: "Kay and Angie, I like your new profile pictures. ;)"

thanks, Regina!

I need to get back into the Rough Riders. Good to know that you're enjoying it enough. The only name I remember are the McKays...I think it's a family of cowboys, right?

Angie...yes, how do you feel about Dark Lover?

I'm still working my way through Rock Me (Ross Siblings, #2) by Cherrie Lynn . i barely had anytime to read today. We had a party earlier today and next, we're heading out to a friend's for dinner to watch the 49ers vs Patriots game. gah...all I want to do it read!

Regina, safe travels!!

message 6263: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) So much fun though Kay -- sounds like a great Sunday! I haven't read at all today, work this morning, piano recital this afternoon and working now. I almost can't wait to be flying tomorrow! LOL.

I need to read that Ross Siblings series.

Yup -- the McKays is the family!

Thank you! :)

Regina and Kay--I like it so far. I'm about halfway through. I'm not sure what Beth sees in Wrath, but I'm hoping to warm up to him. I like the BDB world and will definitely be reading more. I'm really curious about Butch and the role he's going to play in this series.

message 6266: by Leea (new)

Leea I'm almost done with Highlander Most Wanted, i'll finish it tomorrow. I have to say i'm loving it but I may like the first book better.

Safe travels tomorrow Regina. Ugh, Dry towns are the worst... I'm so glad you'll be home for your birthday. You should read the Ross sibling series. I still need to read the second book.

message 6267: by Stacia (the 2010 club) (last edited Dec 16, 2012 11:24PM) (new)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I think you probably mean the third. Rock Me was actually book 2. I wouldn't recommend book 1 anyway though because it was pretty bad. It's safe to start with Rock Me then read Unleashed. I'm actually just about to read Brian and Candace's short story in a Christmas Anthology.

Stefani, a few of us love Laini Taylor here. Welcome to the group. :)

Just finished Sybil Exposed The Extraordinary Story Behind the Famous Multiple Personality Case by Debbie Nathan and I wasn't expecting what I got. Turns out the Sybil story might have been partially exaggerated or "coaxed" out. Well, that is, if this new account has all the facts straight. When I was going to write my review, I went and browsed the other reviews and found that there's a relative of Sybil who is disputing this new account. Interesting stuff...made me unsure what to believe or even write now.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Angie, how's BDB going?

message 6269: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 337 comments I'm also re-reading The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien because I just watched the movie yesterday.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I'm reading The Hobbit as well, but we didn't get a chance to make it to the movie over the weekend, so we're going next weekend. We ended up doing Christmas activities instead...went to a historical ranch and all that.

message 6271: by Angie Elle (new)

Angie Elle (angieelle) | 602 comments Stacia (the hype killer) wrote: "Angie, how's BDB going?"

To be honest, the more I read, the less I like it.

I like the world it takes place in, though. I think it's the main characters I don't like very much. It's intrigued me enough so that I'll at least read the next few in the series. I really want to know more about Zsadist and whoever reels him in! LOL

message 6272: by Gwennie (last edited Dec 17, 2012 08:15AM) (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) Haha, Angie, that's exactly how I felt about it when I first read it. I was curious about Z and Rhage. (Two of the best books in the series, so yay.)

I also wasn't quite sure what Beth saw in Wrath because his description and personality were SO not my thing. Actually, I wasn't a huge fan of Beth either.

Anyway, After I read it I watched the Game of Thrones season 1 and was introduced to Jason Momoa... so beautiful. Now, he's who I picture as Wrath and while he's not my favorite, I definitely got a new appreciation for him.

Regina! I'm almost halfway through Highlander Most Wanted and i am enjoying it, for sure. I'm like Leea though, I don't think I'm gonna like it as much as the first one. It's good so far though.

And lastly, pretty soon, there's gonna be a thread of people just trying to convince me to read Bronze Horseman, lmao! I can't read it now, it'll end the groups inside joke. ;)

Leea finished Highlander Most Wanted (The Montgomerys and Armstrongs, #2) by Maya Banks and I liked it a lot. I just loved the first book more.

Now I don't know what to read? I might start Rebirth (Aftertime, #2) by Sophie Littlefield but I feel like something light to read. Any ideas?

I loved it, too, but he didn't steal Alaric's place from being my #1 Maya Banks hero!

Was it you talking about Susan Mallery and wanting to read more of hers? If it was, I recommend Delicious (Buchanans, #1) by Susan Mallery .

Oooh, I agree. He could be Wrath!

OK...while we're casting BDB, who can Hook from Once Upon a Time Be? His real name is Colin O'Donoghue, and he's pretty bad-ass looking. He's gotta be a brother! LOL

message 6279: by D.G. (last edited Dec 17, 2012 12:42PM) (new)

D.G. I finished Your Wicked Heart (Rules for the Reckless, #0.5) by Meredith Duran which was lovely, lovely! Now I need to see what to read. For this week, I'm caught up with the books I'm supposed to review so I may try out: Dream Lake (Friday Harbor, #3) by Lisa Kleypas .

Enjoy girls! Liked this one a lot, as with most of KA's books!

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Sigh. Every time I see Drums of Autumn I'm reminded that this is where I stopped in the series and I need to go back to it someday.

message 6283: by Leea (new)

Leea Enjoy Ursela!! I love that series and that books takes it in a new direction. Oh, how fun to read it all for the first time.

message 6284: by Aoibhínn (new)

Aoibhínn (aoibhinn) I've finished The Stupidest Angel A Heartwarming Tale of Christmas Terror by Christopher Moore by Christopher Moore earlier today. The plot was quite thin but there were tons of funny scenes that made me giggle and snicker (it wasn't funny enough to make me laugh out loud). However I got bored with this book pretty quickly. The humour was just so repetitive that it started to get on my nerves after a while and the jokes just stopped being funny. I didn't like the second half of the book as it just got too far-fetched and stupid. I really struggled to finish it.
My full review is here: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

Now I'm a couple of chapters into The Good Father by Diane Chamberlain by Diane Chamberlain.

message 6285: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 337 comments Wow! I'm reading Seduce the Darkness (Alien Huntress, #4) by Gena Showalter and it just blows my mind for some reason, in a good way. I'm glad this isn't another book I can add to the list of disappointing books I've read until this.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Just finished Brian and Candace's (from rock me) short in A Very Naughty Xmas (One Night with Sole Regret, #0.5; Ross Siblings, #3.5) by Stephanie Julian . It was a perfect end to their story.

Starting Dark Frost (Mythos Academy, #3) by Jennifer Estep . I need a Logan fix.

Leea, i'm glad to hear ur liking Comanche Moon. i've had it on my tbr list for a while. i'll have to see if i can find it at my library.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Finished Dark Frost (Mythos Academy, #3) by Jennifer Estep and I'm still having fun with the series. Can't wait to start book 4 sometime in the next few days.

Not sure what's going on for my next read yet. I had planned a revisit to the 1920's prohibition/flapper era with Beautiful Days (Bright Young Things, #2) by Anna Godbersen tomorrow, but the chick I'm reading with is under the weather, so I'm waiting to find out.

If that doesn't work, I might pick up a historical romance or go back to my Sinners on Tour arc.

message 6300: by Leea (last edited Dec 18, 2012 11:14PM) (new)

Leea I'm kind of up in the air about what to read next. I need a new HR series to start or maybe read an Arc?
