Best series of fantasy or sf in which only 2 books have been published

Also looking forward to Black Heart, and Whispers Under Ground. And I will be interested to see what Beckett does in The Master of Heathcrest Hall.
Your thread title is kind of confusing, which is probably why people are listing duologies. (In that department, I enjoyed Coronets and Steel and Blood Spirits.)

I'm also really looking forward to the last book in Kristin Cashore's Graceling series, Bitterblue, which is due to be published any day now.

In my mind, the best series in which only two books have been published are:
The Kingkiller Chronicle (Name of the Wind and The Wise Man's Fear) by Patrick Rothfuss
The Demon Cycle (The Warded Man and The Desert Spear) by Peter Brett
Mrs. Quent (The Magicians and Mrs. Quent and The House on Durrow Street) by Galen M. Beckett
