just finished Imposter by Davis Bunn , and going to start The Grand Sophy by Georgette Heyer . (I figure if I read a Heyer every other book I read, then I'll be able to finish ALL of mine rather quickly! :D)

message 1561: by Aerykah (new)

Aerykah | 2071 comments @Soph - It's great! You'll love it! ;D

@Alice - I do too quite often. Other accents too. ;)

@Nicole - I must battle it when I'm out in public! Just imagine this conversation...

Random Stranger- "Oh, I love your accent! Where are you from?"
Me (dropping the fake accent)- "Um... Oklahoma."
R.S.- "I thought you had an accent... Sounded British maybe..."
Me- "I did. And it was British."
R.S.- "But you're from here? And I don't hear an accent now."
Me- "Well, this is how I talk normally. I don't actually have an accent."
R.S.(starting to look suspicious)- "Why would you use a fake accent?"
Me- "Beeecause it's fun..."
At this point, R.S. gives a weird look & walks away mumbling "Oookaaaayy..."

This has actually happened to me twice!

message 1583: by Michelle (new)

Michelle Kobus (michellekobus) People always note the things they want GR to implement, but I wish they'd just give more off the current features to the app, like being able to 'like'...but, ya know, while still keeping it easier to use than the full site :-/ Ehh, whatever.

Finished Tallstar's Revenge...still not sure what next. =/
