Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 215 comments That looks good, Alice! Thanks for the recommendation.
For fiction, I'm sort of in-between books right now...finished two in one day and haven't had time to begin another...but I am reading "A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23" by Phillip Keller for Core group this summer (a Bible study/accountability/fellowship group for work). It's really a good book so far!

message 1427: by Michael (new)

Michael (micky74007) The Whisper
by Carla Neggers
starts in Kenmare--one of my favorite places in Ireland.

Question: how do I add the picture of the book to my comments?

message 1428: by Beth (new)

Beth (bbulow) Michael, above the comment box where you type, you'll see "add book/author." click on that to do a search for the book, then pick the book once the results come up. You can do the cover of the book or just the title.

Hope that made sense!

not working for me

message 1430: by Beth (new)

Beth (bbulow) How is it not working? Like the book isn't coming up?

Michael (micky74007) Beth wrote: "How is it not working? Like the book isn't coming up?"

I can get the title/author to paste to my comment, but I cannot get the book cover.

The Whisper
by Carla Neggers

message 1432: by Beth (new)

Beth (bbulow) You have to choose "cover" versus "link" down at the bottom of the add book/author box.

message 1433: by Michael (new)

Michael (micky74007) I did. Maybe it will work off my computer at home. this one might have some kind of block on it. I will try it tonight. thanks alot.

message 1434: by Beth (new)

Beth (bbulow) I found these instructions on Goodreads Help.

If you're trying to add a book cover image, the easiest way to do so is:
1. Navigate to the discussion thread in which you would like the post to appear.
2. Scroll down until you see the text field that appears below all of the comments.
3. Click the beige "add book/author" link that appears on top of the text field.
4. A window will pop up. Make sure that you select the radio button for "cover" at the bottom of the window, then search for the book in question.
5. As soon as you find it, click "add". The cover image should automatically appear when you publish your comment.
