What are you reading right now?
I am currently reading Anna Dressed in Blood
It is a really good book so far, I have a thing for book covers and this one drew me in.
I am going to be starting Gena Showalter's Atlantis series it is supposed to be a really good. I also have a thing about book covers Becky, the cover of the first book in this series is what made me want to read these books.
I also love beautiful book covers. I hate when I find a great book that had a disappointing cover, the cover is the visual ad people!
I have never heard of the Atlantis series, I'll have to check that one out. Maybe a good choice for our book of the month?
Btw, I haven't read Anna Dressed in Blood, any good so far?

Just finished book #3
(great vampire series) and am going to start
today.I haven't read the Atlantis series yet. I hear lots of really good things about it though.
Just finished Anna Dressed in Blood, I really enjoyed it. It was a different type of read with ghosts and I look forward to the 2nd book coming out sometime this year.

Since alot of has read the fever series going to make a post for it in the discussion board!
Finished
...started and had to put
aside half way through because it was so dang dark! This series is SOOOOO good, but I just need something a little lighter right now.Reading
Tina Folsom's first in a new series (The Cloak Warriors) and am told it is a little like BDB, but are Immortals instead of Vamps and protect humans from Demons of fear....rather than the lessors. There is a contest to win a copy of this book. Click on the book.
I am in PNR withdrawal....and doing some Contemporary Romances right now. I have left three books (PNR) half finished....time for a break and then I'll go back and finish them. Read some erotic romance actually:
Light and easy-it was pretty good!
So, I just got back from spring break and had a TON of time to read...driving cross country has its advantages :) I finished up The Fever Series, and read all the 5o Shades of Grey books (actually I'm not quite through the 3rd book). They are not paranormal, but I can't wait to start the 10th book in the BDB series coming out this week :) Its Tohrs story, I can't wait, he needs to find some love.

Well said Pat!
I need a great book recommendation, anyone have any favs? Otherwise I think I'll just start reading BDB lover reborn.
Rachel I'm loving Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon right now, but what kind of book are you looking for? Midnight Breed Series, Demonica are also favorites. Chicagoland Vampires, Night Huntress -- you know e have plenty. So what kind of recommendation do you need?
30% through
Book two in Amanda Stevens' The Graveyard Queen Series....creepy, creepy, creepy! I just have to go on record.....I LOVE THIS SERIES! It is that good!
I am also half way through
I am enjoying it but No'One is irritating me with her "Robe."
Pat, I am going to look up some of your suggestions...I think I read some of the dark hunters, are those the ones with archeron? If so, then I forsure read up to his book, it's been so long ago. Katya, I am not a big fan of no'one either!
Hey Katya,
I am looking for a new book to read also. Most of the books ppl recommend to me, I have already read. :(
I saw alot of recommendations for the Graveyard Queen Series. Is it really that good and can you give me a little bit more detail than the actual review, is there a love story, is it good, what are the characters like?

Well I am reading the second book now. I have to say that the author's writing is very easy and you get drawn into the story right off the bat...before you know it you are a third through the book. Listen to this interview:

It is Urban Fantasy in most respects....each book is a separate story but there are also story lines that travel from one book to another. It is told entirely through Amelia's eyes.
There are special rules:
1. Never acknowledge the dead
2. Never stray far from hallowed ground
3. Never associate with those who are haunted
4. Never, ever tempt fate.
She is a very special girl who can see ghosts. Her father was a care taker before he retired of a cemetery. The series takes place in Gulla County area of South Carolina. Amelia is adopted and her parents know something that makes her very different but have not told her. She grew up and her father taught her never to acknowledge the ghosts because in doing so you give them what they crave most...life by sucking it out of you. She grew up, went to college and a website and now travels all over South Carolina restoring cemeteries. I get the feeling that I could be Amelia...she is a very normal person which is appealing when you are seeing the story unfold through her eyes...you almost become her.
The first book (prequel)
has a different set of characters who are introduced to Amelia. The story, is about a college girl who meets up with a young man and they start ghost hunting and find something strange going on in the cemetery near the college they attend. A cemetery that Amelia has been hired to restore. It introduces you to the main characters in the series and sets up the first book. I enjoyed this by itself. The first book is
in which Amelia is hired to restore a cemetery in a small college town where murders start occurring and are tied to the cemetery. Some very strange occurrences happen and Amelia meets and starts a romantic relationship with the detective who is trying to solve the murders. His problem is that he is haunted by two ghosts and Amelia needs to stay away from him or get sucked in by them. The murder uses and puts epitaphs from the cemetery as clues to his next victim on her website/blog...There are many surprising things that happen, a very creepy visit to a crypt and a very complex relationship with Devlin and Amelia that is not solved in book one and fear book two ether...but meanders through the series.Book Two is
which has Amelia working in a remote almost abandoned village in the foothills of the Appalachians where a cemetery has been flooded by a reservoir and is under water. Only the newer section is available to walk though. The town has some creepy people and secrets....it is more than a cemetery restoration....and of course there is the ghosts.May of 2012 the third book comes out
This is from her website: My name is Amelia Gray. I am the graveyard queen, a cemetery restorer who sees ghosts. My father passed down four rules to keep me safe and I’ve broken every last one. A door has opened and now evil wants me back.In order to protect myself, I’ve vowed to return to those rules. But the ghost of a murdered cop needs my help to find his killer. The clues lead me to the dark side of Charleston—where witchcraft, root doctors and black magic still flourish—and back to John Devlin, a haunted police detective I should only love from afar. Now I’m faced with a terrible choice: follow the rules or follow my heart.

Other books by Amanda Stevens:
Bottom line...this is an unappreciated series and Amanda Stevens is an excellent story teller. Her novels are rich in detail, colorful characters and well thought out plots bursting with surprises...some that were always right there in front of you from the beginning. I just love her writing style and the story's make sense. Everything fits! I highly recommend her and this series.

I'm liking
quite a bit. I'm at autumn. I didnt' enjoy book 2 (it was too slow for the material to me) of the Song of Fire & Ice as well as book 1 or 3.
really pays off the things that transpired in book 2.
I decided on bookcover:Lover Reborn|10993282] , is NoOne a love interest for Tohr...it seems really odd, but oh well

I feel your pain Pat...too many books and never enough time!
I am starting The Vow: The True Events that Inspired the Movie
today I have seen the previews for the movie and really wanted to see it and today I found the book at work.
I wanted to read it but I heard the story does not go the direction most people would hope for so I am not sure I am ready for more heartbreak. A lot of the romances I read are to escape the sadness that is apart of real life, and since the review I read mentioned that you may not be happy with the ending I am not sure I want to read it. I read sad stories in other genres but in romance I just cant do it.
I am only on page 60 so I dont know about the ending or anything yet but after I read it I'll let you know how it went. Though right now I really like it. Though it is really sad after the wreck and I could not believe the description of the wreck.

I saw it, and cried from begining to end, the ugly cry. I have the book on my shelf to read but haven't yet. I love it, and I love the cast! If you want a spoiler, just ask :)

Absolutely Kelly! I would love to know your thoughts on the book. I saw the trailer and I was like omg that would be such a good book, but after the review my opinion went sour. let me know :)
