Please combine these - the second one has little to no information on the page, though. No ISBN or anything I could see. Just the one review.

Samhy | 49 comments Hello,

can someone combine the French edition I've just created http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16... with the original one http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13... ?
Actually, I don't know if it's something I can do by myself when creating the new version.

Thank you very much for your help.

Traveling Diva (travelingdiva) | 372 comments #985 - Not to worry, only librarians can combine editions :) This is done.

Samhy | 49 comments Great, thanks a lot!

message 961: by Samhy (new)

Samhy | 49 comments Another request.

Can someone add this cover http://www.goodreads.com/photo/user/6... to this book http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/10... ?
Then make some changes:
- author name is "Giulio Cesare Giacobbe" and not "Giulio-Cesare Giacobbe", no hyphen (I have checked on the book and on the website of the French publisher)
- in French, the proper way is to capitalise only the First word and the names, so unless it's against GR rules, the title would be "Comment arrêter de se prendre la tête et profiter enfin de la vie"
- format is paperback
- if you wish, I can copy here what is written in the back of the book as a summary/presentation

And then, can it be combined with the original book found here http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/96... ?

Thanks a lot for all this work.

message 962: by Traveling Diva (last edited Nov 23, 2012 05:30AM) (new)

Traveling Diva (travelingdiva) | 372 comments #988 done - that title did look pretty terrible in French (capitalized)

message 963: by Samhy (new)

Samhy | 49 comments Thanks again Traveling Diva!
Indeed, the capitalized title wasn't nice to the eyes (-_-)

If you're interested to add the resume/summary (not sure what word it is in English), since this one is very funny and shows well the very specific author's voice, here it is.

Have a good day/evening!
--

Koenraad (koenraadkelemen) | 6990 comments #999: apparently these are not the same books:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/14... contains 21 stories, http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/74... only 13.

message 981: by Ovidiu (last edited Nov 23, 2012 10:29AM) (new)

Ovidiu Neatu | 75 comments Your right about the number of stories... Koenraad. But I have the book and it says original title: Early Asimov. Weird!

message 982: by Koenraad (new)

Koenraad (koenraadkelemen) | 6990 comments In English there are quite a few Asimov books with the same title... This might explain the difference.

Gwen | 67 comments My question is for a superlibrarian, I think.

This book has been written by 4 authors : 2 only on GR mention the book in their list. The book is mentionned by Fern Michaels and Chelley Kitzmiller

Link from Chelley Kitzmiller, I have combined the french edition with :
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15...

Link from Fern Michaels :
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/43...

I can't combined the link from Fern Michaels with the other books.
Can I do something ?!

Thank you !!

Re 1022, you can't copy-and-paste links like they; they truncate and go to the wrong place.

message 997: by Gwen (new)

Gwen | 67 comments Sorry. Those are the goods links.

Link from Chelley Kitzmiller, combined with the french edition :
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15...

Link from Fern Michaels
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/43...

Thank you

All editions must have the same primary author to be combined. Fixed.
