2012 March Pick It For Me! Challenge
Megan L, I finished
. That was a hot read! haha! At first it felt like there was a book before this one. I'm trying to figure out how to read the breed books in order. There are all sorts of them and I would like to read more of them. It kind of reminds me of the new species series and I love that series so far.

I'm so glad you liked it! That was my first Linda Howard book and I have a real soft spot for it. There were so many funny parts, I just loved it!
susan, i finished my books! I read World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War, which i didn't care for. I think it was because of the format. I also read A Brush of Darkness which I adored. Thank you!
me too! I am going to read the rest of the series that a brush of darkness starts. It's an interesting world.

READ
Hey Jim, I just finished Kiss the Girls and gave it 4 stars it was a really exciting read, a certain chapter that anyone who has read this will probably understand was quite sickening and stayed in the back of my mind. I think that made me more excited about seeing these killers bought down. I really like Alex Cross and I'm looking forward to reading the next installment. Thanks for recommending this book.
Leslie wrote: "Hi KarLynP - finished my last book, "Firelight" and I absolutely loved it. Thanks for introducing me to a new author and series! I need more books on my TBR. Great month of reading - thanks for all..."Leslie, I am so glad you enjoyed Firelight! I loved that one too.
Christine, I just read pick number 5 from you!
was one of the smokin'est hot books I think I've ever read! thanks for picking this :)

Susan (susayq) wrote: "Christine, I just read pick number 5 from you!

~Megan~ - I finished up Out Of Her League - I liked it and it was a cute read, my only comment would be that I hated how Rayne referred to her as Kiddo, that just drove me nuts!! but thanks for the rec!
Glad you liked it! The other books in her suspense series are totally different than this one, and you should give them a chance sometime in the future.
Dee wrote: "...I hated how Rayne referred to her as Kiddo, that just drove me nuts!!..."I agree completely, Dee! That was my biggest complaint about an otherwise really good book in a great series. Every time I read Kiddo I immediately thought of a child, and it creeped me out a bit!
MountainKat wrote: "Have you read the other books in the series? They are as yummy as the covers!! (And that is saying a lot!)"Yes, I've read the first one as well and just downloaded the 3rd one. The covers are amazing, as well as the scenes in the bedroom (or shower or kitchen or living room LOL). I told Hubs he was missing out while I read this since he's out of town ;)
Susan (susayq) wrote: "I told Hubs he was missing out while I read this since he's out of town ;)"LOL!! My hubby works out of town, he misses out a lot! I loved the third one - the hero is amazing!
MountainKat wrote: "LOL!! My hubby works out of town, he misses out a lot! I loved the third one - the hero is amazing!"Mine misses out LOTS too LOL. He's only here about 1 or 2 nights a month.
You're making me want to read the next one in this series right now. I may get to it sooner than I expected!
glad i'm not the only who felt that way, but then in general, I hate nicknames like that for characters, it just seems so cliche...either way, i'm going to be checking out the next one soon maybe~KarenH~ wrote: "Dee wrote: "...I hated how Rayne referred to her as Kiddo, that just drove me nuts!!..."

I finished my 4th book!
was a nice read. I found it hard to get through cause it never fully captivated me. However, it was still a very enjoyable read. I'd give it a 3.5:)
Hey Vi I finished Daughter of Smoke and Bone today! I really loved it! It was so different from most YA books! I hated the end though. I can't stand cliff hangers like that. And we have to wait so long till the second book comes out!! (This is why I wait till a series is fully published before I read it) Thanks for another great recommendation!!Read this month
@ Jessica, I finished your rec,
in audio book yesterday. Oh my it was wonderful! Everytime I listened to it, my lost Southern accent returned. It was touching to hear the stories and feel so much for the 3 main characters. Thanks so much for the rec!
Christine wrote: "Cheryl-I finished my third pick from you:
.It's nice, quick sci-fi read."
I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed your picks!!
Wow, Lexa! You're zipping along! I'm just reading my first pick of the month and you've already read 3 books. You're good. I agree with you on starting a series after it's fully published. Especially those trilogies. The wait time is sooo long. I don't mind with longer series though.Anyway, I'm really glad you enjoyed your picks this month. I'll be sure to get to DoSaB soon.

Valerie,I just wanted to let you know that I am still plugging through "Ghost Stories"!! I'm going to try and read a lot the next couple of days so I can finish it before the month is over. I usually read his books fairly quick, but I'm having a bit of trouble with this story. I do want to finish it though!
Sue-
Hey Laura, I finished Summer Knight today morning. Another good addition to Dresden series. I really love Dresden's voice with a little bit of well-placed snark. I'll definitely be continuing the series. Thanks for the push!

Updated.A few reminders to make my updates easier. :)
If you are updating a running post of all books you read, please clearly note the ones you already posted about and the new ones. It may amaze you, but I really can't remember every book read by everybody and I don't want to double count books. :)
For a book to count as 'read', you must have read them. DNFs don't count so please don't add it as a book completed.
Do not go back and edit past posts. I do not check them.
Sorry Shameless Hussy. I hope this one is easier to read.Completed 8/10
