Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 741 comments Christine, I just finished Bad Boys Do (Donovan Brothers Brewery, #2) by Victoria Dahl and loved it!! 5 stars even though the heroine made me mad through most of the book. Any book that can get a reaction like that deserves 5 start lol thanks for picking that! I'm starting Caressed By Ice (Psy-Changeling, #3) by Nalini Singh tomorrow :)

Alexis (LexaReads) | 375 comments Hey Vi! I finished another one today!! I read Attachments to finish off my read the month! It was really cute! I think I mostly enjoyed the conversations between Beth and Jennifer. They were so much fun. I'm glad I read that one, I haven't read a good chick lit in a while so it was nice to return to it!

I'll see what else I can fit into my reading this month!

I finished

A Perfect Blood (The Hollows, #10) by Kim Harrison today D.G., it was a four star read for me, thank you for recommending it. I really want to get to the other books too, they look fantastic. If you still want to do a buddy read, maybe we could do the Megan Whalen Turner book a bit later this month?

message 455: by D.G. (new)

Okay, I finally had a chance to go through your books properly and make some recommendations. I hope there is something in the list below that you would like to read in March.

I just finished Just One of the Guys by Kristan Higgins and really liked it. It was a funny yet heartrending romance, with alot of family stuff going on and great characters. I like that with Krista Higgins her characters seem to be very different, yet believable, with each book. Thanks, Sue, for the great pick. I may try to read another one of your recs if I get the chance...

This was the first book I've read by the author and I loved it as well. I have yet to pick up the rest of her novels due to various reasons. Did the others have the same kind of southern charm as this one?

Amanda The Book Slayer (amanda_the_book_slayer) | 63 comments 1.Mad as a March hare: Chasing Clovers by Kat Flannery-It takes place in Canada and it was amazing.

2. Non Compos Mentis: Spell Bound by Rachel Hawkins

3.(Not So) Sweet 16: Dreaming of You by Lisa Kleypas-Derek Craven is definitely an alpha male.

4. The lights are on, but nobody's home: His Darkest Hunger by Juliana Stone

5. Elite 8: Simply Irresistible by Rachel Gibson-it’s hockey. I love hockey.

6. Nutty as a fruitcake: All I Ever Wanted by Kristan Higgins-She has an internal Lucille Ball and Michelle Obama. It's perfect. I actually really loved this book. Thanks Grace! 4/5 Stars ****

7. Final 4: V for Vendetta by Alan Moore

8. Neither rhyme nor reason: A Rogue By Any Other Name by Sarah MacLean

9. Buddy Read...Chicken or Egg?
If you are from Team Chicken {c}, recommend a standalone you think both of you would like to read.

A Novel Seduction by Gwyn Cready

message 466: by Dragana (new)

Dragana (diaryofthebookdragon) @Regina

Hello Regina, I read three books from your picks and I think that i will not have time to read more.
I liked What Alice Forgot the most, it has a realistic love story and an array of funny side-characters. The Perfect Play had a lot of hot and sexy scenes and the story was not so bad, although not very original. Pride Mates had a bad luck that I recently started Psy-Changeling series, and they are simply not as good.

Mad as a March hare (book with an original premise Regina:just love the universe the author´s create here) ~ Pride Mates ☆☆☆ 05.03.
Elite 8 (book with a sports theme Regina:a very good read and a great start to a new serie) ~ The Perfect Play ☆☆☆ 02.03.
Neither rhyme nor reason (Go to your pickee's TBR, go to a page at random, and pick the first book that caught your fancy (no thinking!) If by any chance that book is #19 in a series which your pickee hasn't started, pick another page and try again. Regina:saw this in you TBR and thought it must be very good) ~ What Alice Forgot ☆☆☆ 08.03.

Pride Mates (Shifters Unbound, #1) by Jennifer Ashley The Perfect Play (Play by Play, #1) by Jaci Burton What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty

Yes, the others are just as good. I think I liked Garden Spells just a bit more than The Sugar Queen, but I really liked both of them. Another good one like these but by a different author, if you haven't read it, is Saving CeeCee Honeycutt, which I read about the same time as Garden Spells and really, really liked also.

I am going to go for Faefever (Fever, #3) by Karen Marie Moning next. it's not one of my favorite series, so i don't have high hopes :(

If you finish a book, please make sure to just make a post with the book you finished and include the link to the book. If there is more than one book with the same title, is difficult to figure out which book the person has read.

Also, if this is your second (or third) book finished, please mention that as well.
