And I have to go to class right now and look like a fool! Aaargh. How hard would it have been to pick it up a few times?! I had to miss last week's class because of bookfair. Grrr. I'm dumb.

message 2: by [deleted user] (new)

Never mind. Class is canceled. I have an additional week to procrastinate practice!

Tom Foolery (tomfoolery) If it makes you feel better, i haven't practiced on my banjo in 11 years.

Get it out!

Rusty (rustyshackleford) | 2198 comments The last time I played the drums, Riptide was still on the air.

Charissa (dakinigrl) I hate how my BFF made me play guitar in front of her other guests last night when I hadn't practiced or played since August. I also had to cut my nails in order to play and I had just finished growing them out since they all broke off when I had pneumonia!!!

Playing music is like plumbing. If you know how to do it, you'll be forced into it no matter where you go!

Amanda (randymandy) Also, donuts are like plumbing.

Amanda (randymandy) Exactly.

Charissa (dakinigrl) except for the whole hole in the middle thing.

Félix (habitseven) Sometimes donuts go down the plumbing

message 11: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Tim Horton donuts are like fine music

Charissa (dakinigrl) down the plumbing??? splain please.

my guitar has no sprinkles.

Félix (habitseven) Re: #14 -- don't ask. It's just my bizarre viewpoint on things.

Great cartoon, King.

Charissa (dakinigrl) HA HA HA... KD... that's an awesome comic. It tells the story of my guitar only all too well.

Reads with Scotch Am I the only one that finds it funny that Montambo has more "things I hate about myself" threads then anyone else?

Montambo, Do you need to talk about something? I have tissues...

It's true, Nick, I save most of my loathing for myself.

Here's one for you, though, Nick! I hate the SSH nickname. I don't get it and I miss seeing the word Nick in my life. Bring back the Nick!

message 17: by Charissa (new)

Charissa (dakinigrl) SSH was the acronym for the Sonoma State Hospital where my parents worked when I was a kid. It is a government facility for the developmentally disabled. Nick, dude... you might want to change the name. Srsly.

Reads with Scotch really? I thought t ment super sassy hunk.

message 19: by Tom (new)

Tom Foolery (tomfoolery) "Super sassy hunk" sounds like a phrase one might hear in a gay bar.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Reads with Scotch So what exactly are you saying about Phillipe? He is the one that dubbed me SSH...

He gives great messages too! I will admit I am not a fan of the oil, and bum waxing but he assured me it is for the best.

Holy shit. Next week is the final! I have to play the Star-Spangled Banner one on one with my teacher. Only one week! All of that practicing will be a big hit to my social life this week.

P.S. I did look like a fool last night. I was okay on chords, but forgot how to read the notes when playing the melody.

P.P.S. The cute boy, Arturo, didn't show up until half-way through, so I didn't get a chance to talk to him.

P.P.P.S. Two guys from my class came up to me and my sister in the parking lot afterwards and asked if we wanted to go to their apartment to smoke pot. I think that they don't realize that even though we're going to the community college for guitar, we're not 21.

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

It was nice of them to ask, though.

Reads with Scotch how many pots did you smoke tambers?

I said "no, thank you," Nick!
