I'm in the process of rereading the Miles Vorkosigan books, currently I'm on book 9. I'm also planning to read some Terry Pratchett books.
The second Wheel of Time boxset(The Shadow RisingThe Fires of HeavenLord of Chaos) just arrived. But I have my Midterm exams right now, so I will wait till the weekend.
Finished The Omen Machine last night. It was pretty bad, but knowing me I'll probably still buy Sword of Truth books. Now I've started Percepliquis
My reading meandered and I finished:
and 3 Megan Hart novels. Out of the 3, I really thought Switch was beautiful. The Cathy Trilogy is a hoot! Book 3 is amazing! Anything I griped about in book 2 was totally put to rest in book 3. I really enjoyed reading that trilogy and I hope more interactive novels are written.
Need to Wrap Up:
Then Reading:
Starting a reread of the Malazan Book of the Fallen one book a month, starting with Gardens of the Moon

Yeah, a lot of people gave up after book 6.
Also, you don't mind that he puts his view points in all his books?
I'm reading With Fate Conspire right now. As well as another book in the Dresden Files. I'm almost done with that one. Up next: The Broken Kingdoms and The Kingdom of Gods. Then Awakenings. And I'm doubtful I'll get to it before March, but a re-read of GRRM.
Finishing up with A Dance with Dragons and just about done with The Death Cure. Love the ASOIAF series, like the Maze Runner series, there are some issue with this one, but for the quick read that it is, I can forgive the shortcomings, not horrible, but not the best either. Looking ahead, think I am gonna begin with The Wise Man's Fear and The Magicians. Happy reading all!

I believe that you will love that story! I just finished it.
I am going to read The Sookie Stackhouse Companion

Y..."
When I was younger I didn't mind it, no. But when I got older I understood more about objectivism. I don't really agree with it, but it didn't stop me from reading the series. It was really my first adult fantasy series, so I guess I have a sentimental attachment to it.
Currently reading To Green Angel Tower, Part 1Planning on reading
The Time Machine
To Green Angel Tower, Part 2
Reaper's Gale
On Basilisk Station
Re-reading Guards! Guards! by Terry Pratchett Guards! Guards! at home and The Invisible Ones by Stef Penney The Invisible Ones at work.

Two great books, depends on what you're looking for. I feel like Rothfuss has a great story going, but not quite as intense as Martins books. I wouldn't necessarily call Rothfuss light reading, but it certainly is not as complex as Martin's series. Really don't think you can go wrong. I'm about to wrap up
A Dance With Dragons and then begin reading The Wise Man's Fear. Either way you look at though, you are heading toward two incomplete series which is kinda a bummer.

Finished The Desert of Souls, which I highly recommend if you're after well-crafted Arabian Nights-flavored adventure fiction, and started Living With The Dead, a novella by Darrell Schweitzer, one of my favorite authors.
I am currently reading Michael J. Sullivan's Theft of Swords. I'm only a bit in, but it's been exciting so far--looking forward to seeing how the rest of the series shapes up =)
Kernos wrote: "I just started the Nevérÿon series by Samuel R. Delany"Another series that sits on my shelf staring at me accusingly. I'll be very curious to hear what you think of it.

Ditto that.
OK, I spent much of the weekend on the bus or otherwise away from electronic distractions, so it was productive: Finished Living With The Dead, read Sky Pirates, William King's latest, read The Strange Affair of Spring Heeled Jack and am about to start The Curious Case of the Clockwork Man.
Cherry Vanilla Addikt wrote: "Thank you guys, yeah I guess my next book will be Wise Man's Fear :) What about Among Thieves???"
I liked Among Thieves. Fun. Not great. Sword and sorcery. Sort of like The Way of Shadows or The Lies of Locke Lamora (but lighter)
I'm reading Return of the Crimson Guard. Can't say I like it. Way too many first time characters to keep track of. I'm lost. And my head hurts.
Just finished Maisie Dobbs #4 - Messenger of Truth, and Hounded, which was fun, but I got a little tired of the info dumps. Am reading Ship of Destiny, and the rest of the month is undecided.
Traci wrote: "Return of the Crimson Guard. So very lost."LOL, I figured, seeing your posts at series group. Well, I gather Esselmont's books aren't essential to reading the series.
Finished First Rider's Call on my Kindle last night. It was really amazing. Moving forward with the next in the series, The High King's Tomb
Just finished
and about to start
.
was the best in January, though; too bad the last one hasn't come out yet, and I can't find a publishing date - does anyone know? Then there's
and
... going to be a busy month ...

I agree with Traci - Among Thieves is easy to read, fast and entertaining. Good value stuff.
After a long time in which I read things other than fantasy, I have just completed Stardust and The Magician King. I had seen the film for Stardust, so it wasn't much of a surprise. The Magician King really impressed me at toward the end of the book.
Read
and
Now reading
and
Upcoming:
and
. I requested The Night Circus from the library a month ago, but I'm still number 168 in line (better than the 246 I was). May turn out to be a March read!
Well fantasy-wise I have just begun reading A Clash of Kings. And then I am planning to read The Last Unicorn as well.
Elise wrote: "Finished First Rider's Call on my Kindle last night. It was really amazing. I found these books when I was looking for something similar to Terry Goodkind series ...she used his name in the text too.
I really like the Green Rider series. The books take a long time to come out though.I just finished The Last Stormlord, which I really enjoyed.
I recently finished:
(audio),
,and
.I am working on:
,
(audio),
(book club), and
(audio).Then I will start:

I'm doing a reread of the Dark Elf books by R.A. Salvatore. Yesterday I read Homeland. Today is Exile. Sojourn probably tomorrow. And then I'll read something completely different. Maybe Horns. Been curious about that book for awhile now and I just bought it today.
Right now I'm reading
, and then I'm going to read
Blood Bound, the second Mercy Thompson.... and then I'm not quite sure. I have a long to read list!
Finished The Curious Case of the Clockwork Man and went immediately into Expedition to the Mountains of the Moon. I look forward to seeing how all of the different strands tie together.
