I don't think we merge aliases. Instead a link to the other alias should be added in the Bio section, which a super will have to do.
I added a link from the alias to the authors main page.
Supers can't do anything with goodreads authors. That's why we post in this thread, so rivka can change it.

I don't usually edit the content of author profiles unless the request comes from the author, though. If they want a link to their pseudonym, they can add it themselves (or request that I or another GR staffer do so).
Should we contact the author and ask them if they would like to link to their other alias than?

Re 829: Firstly, this thread is for GR author profiles needing merging, not book combination requests. Secondly, why would you want to combine two totally unrelated books?

REMINDER: Please only list authors in this topic who need to be merged by a GR staff member. That is, when one of the profiles has been claimed by the GR-member author.
Do not list authors for disambiguation, authors who are deceased, or authors needing merging where neither profile has been claimed.

I can't think of any cases where we would do that. Certainly not ones like that.
